We needed to find moving help on Tuesday to be finished by Friday a.m. Not ideal timing, but we had an emergency that changed our plans. I contacted on Tuesday and by Wednesday 11 a.m., the mover had agreed in writing to come Thursday morning early for our small job. I wrote around 6 p.m. to confirm the exact time only to discover the mover wasn't coming. No notice and no explanation for why he hadn't contacted me other than to say he'd been busy that afternoon. Then it got weird. When I asked how he could cancel last minute like this with no explanation and no notice, he tried to gaslight me by saying it was my fault for booking last minute. There was no mention of this being too last minute when he'd agreed to do the move earlier. Also, super ironic for a company called "Anytime Anywhere"! Not sure what changed in the time since we'd talked. Our job was small and now he had a very early big move the next day. Maybe our booking so late bothered him so much he couldn't take it, and he'd decided to teach us a life lesson about planning by being a no-show. :D Not sure...in any case, see the screenshots and judge for yourself if you would trust this company with your business. Several keys were self sustaining. Art took this on as a personal challenge, even when he had to return on a second trip to finish the job. On his second trip, a string broke and Art restrung the key with new wire. He also inspected the humidity control system and confirmed it is working as intended. His prices are fair with a small $25 up charge to come to Carson City. He is not precisely punctual but his skill, knowledge, and demeanor more than compensate! So many instruments and a very cozy/warm atmosphere. The converted house is the perfect building for this type of business. The owner (or one of them?) was quick to greet us and show us around the place. I tried out a couple of vintage instruments when I was there and he was very knowledgeable and informative about what I was playing. Looking forward to coming back for a live performance at sometime. They seem to have routine jam sessions as well as touring musicians stopping by the place.
