Their program is great where we can rent-to-own if we decide later to purchase it. All the rental payments are put towards the purchase which is awesome. They also allow you to switch it out if our child outgrows the size. It was a super easy process to pick up a rental instrument and seems like the store has quite the variety of supplies for both wind and string instruments.

We needed to find moving help on Tuesday to be finished by Friday a.m. Not ideal timing, but we had an emergency that changed our plans. I contacted on Tuesday and by Wednesday 11 a.m., the mover had agreed in writing to come Thursday morning early for our small job. I wrote around 6 p.m. to confirm the exact time only to discover the mover wasn't coming. No notice and no explanation for why he hadn't contacted me other than to say he'd been busy that afternoon. Then it got weird. When I asked how he could cancel last minute like this with no explanation and no notice, he tried to gaslight me by saying it was my fault for booking last minute. There was no mention of this being too last minute when he'd agreed to do the move earlier. Also, super ironic for a company called "Anytime Anywhere"! Not sure what changed in the time since we'd talked. Our job was small and now he had a very early big move the next day. Maybe our booking so late bothered him so much he couldn't take it, and he'd decided to teach us a life lesson about planning by being a no-show. :D Not sure...in any case, see the screenshots and judge for yourself if you would trust this company with your business. Several keys were self sustaining. Art took this on as a personal challenge, even when he had to return on a second trip to finish the job. On his second trip, a string broke and Art restrung the key with new wire. He also inspected the humidity control system and confirmed it is working as intended. His prices are fair with a small $25 up charge to come to Carson City. He is not precisely punctual but his skill, knowledge, and demeanor more than compensate! So many instruments and a very cozy/warm atmosphere. The converted house is the perfect building for this type of business. We rang the doorbell and were greeted by one of the owners, Don, and his dog LadyBug. Don informed us that if we were looking for records, we were in the wrong place but told us to come check out what they DID have. Mountain Music Parlor is a cute little shop filled with all sorts of instruments. So many that you'll have to go see for yourself including endless ukuleles, cricket violins, guitars, and more. The most amazing thing about Don was that no matter what obscure musical instrument or accessory we asked about, Don had it! From cajons to violin mutes. He also showed us the performance room where they have different jam sessions including Celtic nights, Old Time, Cowboy, Aloha Ukulele, Open Mic, and Bluegrass. They also have music lessons available for various instruments. I'm so glad to have stumbled upon Mountain Music Parlor and will definitely be getting all of my musical knick knacks from them for the foreseeable future. The entire center is clean, spacious, and has a very friendly and welcoming staff. I've taken about 7 ukulele lessons with Hector so far and while I'm not anywhere near ready to perform on the stage in the back, I can see a noticeable improvement in the way I approach learning to play an instrument. I had picked up the ukulele for fun several years ago but my skill level stayed mostly stagnant until I started these lessons. Hector has also taught me to hear music in a more meaningful way. Without getting very deep in music theory, I'm learning to appreciate the flow, the tempo, and the genius composition of music artists in their songs. Hector plays multiple instruments himself and performs in the area when not teaching. His knowledge and passion for music are readily evident as soon as you meet him and he is one of those teachers who makes students want to come back to learn more. His easygoing manner and great personality take the pressure off without lowering the standard. He also has the uncanny ability to sense and adjust to my level (mostly limitations) and shapes the lessons around my abilities and interests. When I leave each lesson, I have a good idea exactly what to work on next without feeling overwhelmed. For anyone looking for music lessons in the area, I highly recommend Jampro.

The improvement in her musical talents has been a beautiful and impressive journey that continues to leave me in awe. All of the teachers have been excellent and top caliber musicians themselves. Jampro often served as a safe space for my daughter during some difficult times through the years. They treated her like family and I will forever be grateful. The facility is top notch and every thing you'd expect from a high end studio and more. They even have courses to learn audio production and DJ.
