When I moved my baby grand piano to my new house, it took four large moving men to lift it up in order to place floor protectors under each leg. I was looking for someone to help transport my baby grand from San Jose to Union City and Larry gave the most competitive quote at $385. He was also kind enough to transport a Queen mattress for me at no additional cost. My parents initially had some misgivings when Larry pulled up alone in his unmarked white trailer van, but they quickly acknowledged he knew what he was about once they watched him start to work. Larry expertly took the piano apart and wrapped each piece meticulously in protective blankets. He had the entire piano dismantled and safely loaded into the van in a matter of minutes -- ALL BY HIMSELF. (Even my Asian father was very impressed when Larry effortlessly maneuvered the piano body over the door threshold.) My piano is now beautifully situated in its (and our) new home. I would highly recommend Larry for all of your piano moving needs. One small thing -- I didn't have the heart to ask him to remove his shoes in my home because I figured it would be a pain in the butt to be constantly taking his shoes on/off while moving heavy pieces back and forth .
