I guess I'm just always amazed at how long short order or timely manner can be when it comes to these stores. To me it always seems to take forever to process seemingly simple transactions. After all these years in business I would like to think FedEx figured out a way to make everything that much easier for their teams to service customers, but they haven't. That said, the center is clean. There's hand sanitizer around, along with social distancing signs and the staff and patrons were wearing masks, so that was all good. Parking was a breeze because it's on a relatively non trafficked road and you can park right on the street. All in all, if you're cruising through or near this area, this outpost is a much better choice than the more civilian locations in strip malls.

Extremely Frustrating FedEx Express Experience…read more I paid extra for FedEx Express delivery, and the experience has been incredibly frustrating. My package was shipped Friday. FedEx delivers in my town throughout the weekend, yet my Express package was not delivered until approximately 3:45 p.m. on Monday, September 14. I had waited at my business all morning specifically for this package, but unfortunately missed the delivery when it finally arrived. I contacted customer service and was told the package would be delivered again sometime today before 5:00 p.m. I am now once again waiting at my business specifically so I can receive this Express package, yet customer service cannot contact the local driver or provide me with even an approximate delivery window. I own and operate a business. I cannot reasonably sit at one location all day waiting for a package with no ETA. The tracking information has not been properly updated, and I have not received the text notifications I specifically requested. If the tracking and notification system actually worked, I could plan my workday around the delivery instead of losing productive business hours waiting for a driver who may arrive at any point before 5:00 p.m. This is also not the first time I've had this problem with FedEx. We recently had a similar issue with the delivery of a cell phone. We were home at the time, yet the driver simply left a "We missed you" notice. Now, despite paying for Express service, I may have to drive all the way to Reno to pick up this package from the holding facility. If FedEx is going to charge customers a premium for Express delivery, there should be reliable tracking, requested delivery notifications, and some ability for customer service to communicate with the local delivery operation. Telling a customer to simply wait until 5:00 p.m. with no meaningful tracking or estimated arrival time is not acceptable Express service. I don't expect an exact minute for delivery, but when I'm paying extra for Express service, I do expect reliable communication and tracking--especially when a delivery requires a signature and someone has to remain at the location to receive it.
