Made a reservation online, and Eric assisted with giving me a call, addressing questions, and being patient with me regarding my move-in date since I kept pushing it back. When I was finally able to make it in, I was assisted by Danny. He, too, was also polite, and he addressed any and all questions. Once again Extra Space has failed its customers again. My RV and others were Broke in one again. I guess everything I suggested and complained about was taken for a joke. These people told me they were working on putting Cameras at the back gate and Never did. The back gate is where the break ins are occurring which tells me this is an inside job. BEWARE: They will increase your rates without notice that they're supposed to. They had increase the my rate by 50%, over $100 without notice and this is only after a couple months of when I started renting at their "web rate". This seems to be the common practice, you can see the numerous complaints on BBB.org and how many people had price rise without notice. Highly not recommended. read more

I recently signed for this storage unit so my review will cover the initial starting process. I found the location online and saw that their web rates are cheaper than in person. The website is very user friendly that provides all the needed information like month terms, cancellation, etc. I was surprised that you could sign the lease online or make a reservation that saves your unit at that price then process the lease in person. I made my reservation easily and was contact very quickly by the customer service team. Over the phone, Danny was very professional and clear with what I signed up for. I went to visit the location to check the unit and both Erick and Danny were very friendly and interested with my moving process. Which is difficult to find since most storage places don't care about saving you money or the unit being the right fit for your belongs or budget. He showed me the tricks to get into the door if it didn't want to open, took me to the unit, helped open the door, had already cut the packaging on the lock so it was easily accessible, gave suggestions as to make sure I didn't lose the spare key. security is not one of your main concerns. over 40 units vandalized one week, main door broken...still broken as of this date. now more units plus mine vandalized again. there is no security, no cameras....nothing! corporate could care less and have not bothered to contact me. they will have to take responsibility one way or another. if anyone is reading this get your stuff out of this facility as soon as possible. also if someone is missing a mountain bike...it was thrown in my unit. the managers should have it. i took pictures of it just in case. Brand new kenmore washer and dryer missing!!!Management told me over 40 units have been broken into including MINE! Police report has been filed and cop expressed that he's been to that location numerous times for burglaries. We had the extra space storage lock on our unit. Coincidentally we cancel our unit one month prior to removing our stuff and things are missing! VERY SUSPICIOUS IF YOU ASK ME!!! Nothing is being done about it and they aren't willing to help! I just have to start off by saying the customer service here is phenomenal! I had the amazing pleasure of speaking with Sarina who helped me from beginning to end, I ended up needing storage and was going through a tough time in my life as well as my family. Sarina quickly and professionally showed me what sizes were available but not only that she made me feel joy in my heart, her energy was incredible! I ended up getting the next to biggest storage bin and moving my things in the next week, I had no issues and was in and out however many times I needed and no one pestered me, or asked when i would be out. I even had forgotten the day i was to move out and got a prompt email to remind me of the day a week before. All in all I had a wonderful time there, Sarina was everything and I will be referring all my friends and family to this storage place! where do i start?? 50,000 2022 trailer gone, stolen... without so much much as a sorry for you loss. definitely a inside job. gate was rammed into by what looked like a grey suv at 8pm and the theif had the nerve to get out and carefully pull the gate closed. he returned at 1:15 am pulled the gate back open with his hands , hooked up and drove off with our trailer like it was his. manager eric mejia claims that he arrived at 8am to find the gate wide open. we werent notified until 4:30 pm wich gave them 15 hours to get ouy of state. hell , probably out of the country. once we arrived and asked why it took so long for us , you know the owners to be contacted, erick said he needed to investigate first. then had the audacity to tell me how did he know if it wasnt one of my family members that had took it. i felt so angry and disrespected . at this point i hadnt seen the video , but he did. i also asked why didnt he he call the police to report their own property being broken into. he had no answer for that. once we called the sheriff and they arrived he was very nervous even trying not to give the officer his last name. he then played the video of our trailer being stolen and refused to let us record it with our phone. i tried calling corporate but ive yet to hear back from anyone. its been a week. crazy how you work and dream of having something for years and someone decide they will just take it. all im saying is beware! my trailer had only been there for 3 months. to that person who asked if anyone interested in a class action lawsuit against extra space storage, i definitely am read more

I am very disappointed with this place. I wanted to rent a climate controlled unit from here. They had great reviews. Talked to a service rep via Internet and received a call from Ambur thanking me for my interest and to call her. I did that and told her I'd be there in 20 minutes which I was! Got there and they rented it to someone else! What is that??? I drove across town to get there and not only did she not wait to see if I'd get there but where is a courtesy call? She was told I was on my way. That is poor service and not a way to do business in my opinion! I will not do ANY business here and took my business to Storage Express. read more

I use Extra Space Storage to store my trailer and in my opinion they are the best in the AV! It's always clean, well lit, and plenty of security cameras. Not to mention, Lisa (manager) is always courteous, pleasant, professional, and knowledgable.
