Public Storage has been awesome throughout covid and throughout my entire time with them. Their staff is always wonderful and pleasant to work with and their units are always clean and available when I need them. Also they have great pricing. Just overall a great and reputable company to store my stuff with. read more

No one was in the office when I arrived, Manager Or whoever at front desk is very rude, extra charges. Storage space is very damaged, its pieces of cardboard holding up the walls. DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. DO NOT RENT HERE! read more

The staff here is friendly (As everyone here has mentioned, Frine is great) but Public Storages policies are not. They're designed to be unclear so that you owe more money. When I moved in I very clearly asked what the move out process was in regards to payment and was told that as long as I gave 2 days notice, I could move out whenever I liked (I now understand that this was a purposefully cryptic answer). I set my move out date online for September 1st over two weeks in advance, and at no point along the way during the move out process was it mentioned that I would owe the full amount for September by doing this. I was simply told to check in with the front desk when I completed my move out. Of course, move out day comes and it turns out I owe the entirety of September, even though I am moving out on the 1st. The front desk staff were friendly enough about this but when I talked to the supervisor, Clare Ingram, and not only was she not able to help me, she was pretty rude to me about it. The company will try to claim they're not able to pro-rate payment, but they happily pro-rated my first month when I moved in. It's a policy that is designed to take advantage and the fact that there is no leeway despite a very understandable miscommunication is frustrating. In addition to this, my rent was raised in the middle of my 7 months and everything in the storage unit was covered in a thick layer of dust and sand. I know Lancaster is a windy dusty place, but when you're in the business of providing storage I think a little more could be done to insulate the spaces from this. I won't be using Public Storage again in the future. I recommend you skip it as well. read more

Awful management, and non-management employees. Rude and disrespectful - non-helpful - don't waste your money... Extra Storage is much better and very helpful, check them out instead. read more

I moved from the area and needed an affordable storage room during the process. I trusted the brand and have rented from public storage previously in another city. This location is not safe or secure. Someone had attempted to cut my lock off, and I received no consolation from the company. They claimed that since the thief was not successful, there was no action needed, however, it goes to show that they will let anyone in and there are no cameras whatsoever. If you choose to store your possessions here, make sure you have a good lock, and renters insurance. They are not liable for the thieves they let inside that gate! read more

... and another rate increase in October 2022. 55% total rate increase in a year and a half. Stay away!

Customer service is so important, and the staff here certainly embodies great customer service. My unit was also clean and easy to access.

They will never send you a reminder to payso your bill will almost ALWAYS have a late fee attached to it. Make sure to put your storage on auto pay. read more

I have been looking for a storage space for a few weeks and have gotten some quotes from different companies online, by phone & in person. I stopped by this spot a few days ago to get some info and was helped by a really nice lady. I think her name was Frine. She gave me info. She helped me figure out what size storage I need with all the stuff I have (which is a lot) She was really friendly, nice and helpful. The spot was clean which is cool because some other places I went to were kinda trashy. Anywho, I plan on getting a space next month here and FINALLY cleaning out all the stuff I have in my garage. Kudos to this lady for helping me make up my mind LOL read more

The place is clean and well-managed. Frine was super-helpful all the way through, especially when I had complications right in the middle of the process and had to make sudden changes. She's very efficient and the whole rental process was quick and smooth. The rental prices are better here than elsewhere, but this is a time when you get more than what you pay for! read more

Currently renting two spaces...Nick was incredibly helpful and friendly upon opening my first unit. I do wish he would have mentioned being it's an outside unit that all the dirt and dust from outside would enter the unit. I went online again to rent another unit and was very excited about being able to rent my unit for a sum of $23. However, upon arriving and viewing the unit with Frine (one of the most amazing humans on this planet) I was informed being I am already a client I would have to pay full price, as well as the administrative fee's and purchase the lock, I was thoroughly upset. I almost walked out in a rage. Frine helped calm me down and I ended up renting the second unit there as well. The staff at this facility is amazing and brilliant. The lot is clean and quiet. The dust coming into the unit, not a cool thing. I have to figure out how to keep it out. read more

Needed something close to home and found Public Storage. Always clean. Very helpful. Perfect spot for my "items". Great staff.

Both Nick and Frine were very helpful through our entire rental experience at this location. I had quite a few questions in the beginning and Nick was very patient with me. I would rent here again if I needed storage space in Palmdale again. read more

I cannot say enough how great the representatives are at this location. I have been a public storage user for over 10 years, and I have never received bad service. Frine and Nick are fabulous, and I feel like they are an extended family for me. They are always willing to help out, and just recently they helped me through a difficult time. Clare, the big boss, is very understanding, provides great customer service, and a down to earth woman who cares about her customers. The grounds are always clean, and if you have a problem with anything having to do with your storage space, grounds, or just want to express your views, they are always there willing to listen. If you need a storage space, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! HANDS DOWN! Pay them a visit, you will see what I mean, smile... read more

Renters beware. I have been renting from this property for about 3 yrs. The prices were good in the begging but started to continuously go up. read more

The staff at this facility was pleasant, but I only had my items in storage at this facility for a few months before all of my items were stolen. I wanted to wait until I got my settlement from the insurance company before I wrote this review, because the company was horrible, and they tried to cheat me. They wanted to give me about $500 out of a $3,000 policy. I had to fight them and threaten to sue, which I was prepared to do. I never even received an apology from the district manager of Public Storage who was very rude. The insurance agent was also rude. Here are a few tips: Take photos of everything you have in storage, save your receipts, read the fine print, don't accept the first offer the insurance gives you and get a different insurance company. If you cannot get a reasonable settlement from the insurance company file a claim with the California Department of Insurance. Also, they raised the rent on me after only a few months. read more
