I called Navis, and the person who set up the shipping said "interesting. ' Let me know how it turns out.' I tried to figure out how to get the item, but after a week, called Navis back and they talked with the receiving company and finally it was delivered 10 days later.

I heard from Jim each night, and again Thursday morning as he was headed to the new home with my furniture and goods. Like the loading of the truck, the unloading went just as smooth. When I pointed out that their pricing was double that of other quotes, he had the audacity to laugh and snidely remark, "Well, if you want your stuff damaged, go with them." Let's be clear: I explained, in the simplest of terms, that it was just one hour of moving. But no, their inflated minimum is two guys for two hours--$550 for a single hour's work! At that price, I might as well keep them around for an extra hour to scrub my truck and clean the bathroom so they could at least pretend to earn their outrageous fee.
