I'm not the only person they did the same increase to. We have several other units and between them, they were raised $175. a month. So with this unit added on, the amount raised totals $220 each month. We don't have extra money on a fixed income, Social Security. We haven't met the new crew yet, but we were always treated good and with respect from the old crew, especially the hired help Lisa more than the managers. We saw her more often, and she is an asset to the company. The previous manager Mike wanted to keep us as clients so they didn't apply as steep a raise when prices went up. The new owners raised everything all at once, taking money from food and needed prescriptions. I guess they don't want to keep the older dependable clients who have been there for years. There is always the fear of being told to leave because we complained about the price increases

I've used Extra Space Storage in the past and had a phenomenal experience! I was SO close to…read moreanother one until STORE took over. I definitely will not be recommending the new management given recent events. 1. STORE took over and left everyone without storage access. Showed up to move into our new home and (to our horror) couldn't access our unit! Several other families were present who also couldn't access their units including a woman who was picking up wedding chairs. Nobody was on site to help during the transition and the customer support was useless. I should NEVER be unable to access my belongings. 2. STORE is an objectively awful name for a company given how difficult it is to search for. This is a minor inconvenience, but try searching "Store on Vicksburg" and see where you land 3. Management tried to charge us for a full month when we were two days late on move out due to our inability to access the unit on the day we planned. No grace period. No contract with us. No effort. 4. STORE took over in May 2026 but kept all of the Extra Space reviews which I believe to be misleading. The storage units themselves and the access point are great & affordable. If you don't need to contact customer service or work with management, you'd probably be fine but I'd recommend the Extra Space location nearby to save yourself the headache!

I needed a couple chairs for the Black Women's Expo and found this place through a Yelp search…read more The guy who answered the phone was friendly and quickly told me all that I needed to know. I picked up the chairs the next day. It was a little more than $5 to rent two chairs for three days. They had another guy bring them out to my car for me. The chairs were sturdy and not terribly uncomfortable. Returning the chairs was just as quick and easy as getting them. Will be back if I need to rent some chairs or other items that they carry. They've got a lot of stuff, so if you're having an event, this might be your source!

I rented linens and some other things from ABC for a graduation party. When I arrived to pick up…read morethe items at 9:30 AM, the linens were not available. They told me I would need to come back later (I did not have time to return--it was a 20 minute drive to get there) and they refused to refund the $24 charge. The worst part was that they lied to me and told me that my contract said that I couldn't pick things up until noon. Nowhere on the contract did it say that. In fact the hours were prominently stated in more than one spot as 7:30 AM - 5 PM. I checked the website too and did not find that statement anywhere. If you are going to stick me for a $24 charge at least don't lie about it and blame me for the problem. You could admit your mistake and just tell me tough luck on the charge. What a terrible way to run a business!

By far, the WORST customer service I've seriously ever encountered. Our Pod was delivered late, and…read morewhen they came to pick it up they showed up in the am and not in the afternoon as requested. This is a big deal when you're in the midst of moving your entire house. I was told "have it ready in 10 minutes or else we're not coming to get it for another week." THEN..when I called to confirm the next delivery of our pod to our new house...I was told "not going to happen and was told its not Jimmy John's service." I would highly, highly encourage anyone seeking to rent a pod to hire another company. I seriously doubted whether we would have our belongings when we moved into our new house. The drivers seemed equally intimidated by the owner Dirk Stevens. If you're smart, you'll rent from another company like Uhaul or Pods.
