When I told them it won't work they told me it was to late to get a refund. He built the storage units at MPLS Storage himself (it's family-owned and operated). He showed me the 12ft walls, and how they can't be scaled by anything short of a full-sized ladder (ESS has 8-foot walls that can be cleared with a lawn chair). Tenants are admitted to their units by appointment only, which means no strangers following another customer through an unlocked door like at ESS. Most importantly, he listened. He heard my concerns and addressed them immediately. He's a human being who wants to help others store their belongings safely and securely, and he's the opposite of the experience I had at ESS. If you need to store stuff and don't mind making appointments, store your stuff at MPLS. You won't regret it.

My movers brought stuff down. Then they decided that I couldn't have the truck. They told me that it was only for moving in. They could have told me this at the time I reserved it, before I committed to movers, or any other time. They started smiveling about how instead of trusting them "I should have read the fine print." That is how much they care about customer service and keeping their word. I was out $350 to the movers. The "regional manager" was in the office and was fully aware of what was happening, and agreed that they should not keep their word, that I should have read the fine print instead of taking their word for it when they went through all the motions of providing the truck. This is a nice facility and a good location for me, but If you care about honesty and integrity, stay away, they are liars and snivelers.

The boxes seem sturdier and of a higher quality than those for sale at other retailers. Even the roll of packing paper was superior to those found elsewhere. Had plenty of time to get everything unpacked once moved. We weren't in a mad rush to get everything unpacked--definitely helped ease the stress of the move. Once all the boxes were unpacked, Joe came out the next day and picked up all the boxes. It's great not having to worry about disposing of all the boxes I needed. Highly recommended!

The owner (Joe) came and delivered the boxes and even brought them all the way up to my apartment. They seem more durable than the average one's you purchase from your local retailer. After I was done with the move I gave his service a call and they promptly set up a time to come pick up the boxes. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone facing an upcoming move. This service is a cheaper alternative to purchasing boxes outright while also being environmentally friendly as the boxes are re-used. Bottom Line - Great Experience!!
