The lock up self storage is basic storage. Good security. Easy to find and the place is clean. The storage units are easily identified and it's easy to get stuff in and get stuff out. We used the storage to store things from my mom and dad as they downsized. We have now finished going through everything. Thanks the lock up. Seamless rental experience. I needed an extra locker and in 10 minutes I was moved in. All the employees are great to work with.

I attempted to reserve a storage unit online. First, the person assumed I was a man from my name and told me the lady (me) couldn't pick up the keys. Second, when I came to pick up the keys, I was told my lease hadn't been signed online even thought it had. Then, once I re-signed the lease (the person working there pushed all the buttons so I have no idea whether what he agreed to was what I had agreed to online) I was given keys and a lock and told all I had to do was make sure my code worked in the garage door, which it did. I returned about 2 hours later, after their business hours (which are only until 5, so good luck if you work a 9-5 and then need help) to put furniture into the storage unit. We had to unload outside the garage in the rain because the truck they rent out was blocking one of the elevators and someone unloading stuff who was apparently upstairs at their unit left their car in front of the other one. We unloaded, took a large couch up and found that the yellow dummy lock that was to be removed before we could move in never was. Thus we had to carry the couch BACK downstairs after trying without help to talk to "Customer Service" who didn't even know what I was talking about when I mentioned the yellow placeholder lock. In summary, don't do it. There's a Public Storage and U-Haul storage facility literally a stone's throw from this place where you'll get much better service. Still awaiting my refund that may have been charged twice since I had to fill out the lease twice. read more

RENTERS BEWARE The storage facility is clean and easy to access BUT the company is not responsible if your items are stolen:-( Some scumbag rented a unit to gain access to the building and then broke into several locked units to take what they could find. We were informed that our unit was burgled and the staff felt bad, but they gave us incorrect info about the police report process and denied any responsibility. Your homeowners insurance covers this type of off-site storage, but any deductible applies. We filed reports and claims for the properly that was stolen, and asked the company to chip in on the deductible or maybe give us a discount on the rental fee and were told "We can't do that. We're not to blame". Talk about adding insult to injury - paying full monthly fees after being robbed in their "secure" building The rest of our stuff is still there because it's too much trouble to move it -- but we are NOT satisfied customers. OH - AND the company regularly raises the monthly fee :-/ They know you'll pay it because it's too hard to move all your stuff read more

Do NOT use this place!!! I rented a storage unit while I was living out-of-state, and when I returned to the storage unit...it was INFESTED with clothes moths. I rushed to tell the storage unit--but was then faced with an eviction. It was terrible. I called to protest the decision to evict me since there are OPEN ceilings to these units. The moths could have came from any one of the units around me and infested my belongings, but the owner of this place claimed "there are no occupied units around you" which I soon came to find was a lie. I peeked over the ceiling and there were units occupied next to me--also with clothes moths. I understand most storage units will automatically evict you if you have moths, but I can confidently say the moths did not come from me and if you store your stuff here you'll probably end up with an infestation, ruined items (I had to throw away multiple expensive rugs and furniture), and eviction when you least expect it. Fuck this place you guys made my life a living hell. read more

More like a Storage Palace!! I love absolutely everything about this business. They really thought of everything. Let me list the ways... This state of the art, brand new, clean facility is abounding with security cameras. The office is open til 5:30pm everyday, but you can access your storage unit until 10pm. Dan in the front office is incredibly nice. I stopped by a month before I needed storage to check the place out and he let me reserve my space right there and then. They prorate daily too, which is nice if you're not moving at the beginning of the month. When you bring your treasures in, you can drive your car right in to the heated loading dock. Load all your stuff on to one of the flat bed carts and you're all set to head on up in the elevator. You get a swipe card that only allows elevator access to your floor, very nice touch. On the storage floors the lights are sensor activated, good to see they care about energy conservation. With your storage unit they give you a lock, which they do not have a key to, it's all yours. All of the spaces are open on top to promote air flow so none of your stuff smells like grandma when you take it out. The price is very reasonable and you can leave at any time with a 7 day notice. Now for the final bit of awesomeness, they have a brand new moving truck you can reserve for moving in and out. Yah! My schedule is so crazy right now and the only day I could move my big things was a Sunday. They're closed on Sundays. Alas, Nice Guy Dan in the front office said he can come in to give me the keys. Now that's above and beyond the call of a storage facility. It's the small things like piped in music in the hallways and a impeccably clean bathroom that make me really happy to know my belongings will be living in such luxury. read more

Yeah, pretty much the best storage facility ever! I've used a few other storage facilities in other states - - and nothing, i mean NOTHING has ever held a candle to this place! First of all, it's extremely clean! (and new!) There are two large roll-up drive in doors to help with loading/unloading. Elevator to transport you and your goods Security code to the large roll-up doors, and once in the elevator FREE lock for your unit Convenient hours to access your stuff (6am to 10pm, i think) There's even music playing in the halls Complimentary carts for you to use Water fountain and restrooms BUT - - the staff is super friendly! I spent a fair amount of time talking to the call center and setting up the rental. When I got there, the space they had was not what I had been told. They were able to find a unit that I could use. But then the paperwork, which again I had spent time setting up and received reassurance that I could set up the account in a specific way, was not what I was told at the office. I expressed my annoyance that the site and the call center had extremely conflicting information, resulting in a fair amount of my time wasted. After some back and forth with the manager on duty, I was denied service and asked to leave. Never in my life have I received such poor and unprofessional customer service. I went up the street to a competitor, got a better rate at a better facility and was treated like a human being. I do not recommend this company. read more

More appropriately named "Rip You Off Storage", prices rise without explanation. Additional charges are made after the fact. An "energy surcharge"? What's next? A "cleaning surcharge"? A "roof doesn't leak surcharge?" Ridiculous. They lock the garbage dumpsters at night so even though the building is open you cannot use the most basic facilities. And the access hours are over at 10PM! You cannot get in to your unit after that time, and you must be out of the building at that time as well. Again, why? The security system is extensive, certainly the "energy surcharge" would provides enough extra income to cover the cost of operating the security system at nights as well?? The building is pretty and climate controlled but is not being maintained well and not clean. It's carpeted but the carpets are FILTHY! Go elsewhere. Spare yourself the frustration. read more

I had to find a place in a pinch for storage. The Lockup on Industrial blvd helped me out big time. They provided a free move in truck to get my stuff there, and all I had to pay was gas. The facility is very nice and CLEAN. I cannot stress CLEAN enough. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Pricing I think is pretty average with other storage places. I had my first month for a buck, then a rate for 6 months, and then it went up about $20/month after 6 months. My stuff was secure, I never worried about anything happening. I would most def recommend this facility for any type of storage. It's very easy to get stuff in and out of. read more

What a great experience. They make it so seamless and easy to rent a storage space. Kellie and her staff are very friendly and personable and very efficient. They showed me some storage units, I selected one I liked, they reserved it for me until I figured out my move date. Then I stopped back in once I was ready to start the rental and they quickly set up everything for me. They even give you a lock!!! New, clean facility located right off the highway! They even give you access to a free truck for moving - you only pay a deposit which gets refunded upon return and gas. What a great option to have. Just finished my second move filling up my storage space. From start to finish, the staff have been friendly, helpful, and wonderful to work with. I reserved and made arrangements in mind after a visit to the space. It has been quite easy. The communications both online and in person have been knowledgable and professional. The space itself is wonderful - clean, spacious, and climate controlled with indoor access which I really appreciated. The security is great. The loading area is huge, indoors, and easy to access. Moving carts are provided. I also utilized the free day of the moving van which was quite helpful. I will especially mention Kellie who was really helpful. Go for it! read more

This storage facility is fantastic! I had to store a small apartment's worth of stuff over the winter, and The Lock Up was perfect. The room was inexpensive, big enough for all my stuff, and extremely clean. The security is excellent, and it's temperature controlled. It was very easy to load my stuff -- the garage was very easy to back into, there were plenty of large pallet dollies, and the door closed so my van was secure while I was upstairs at my unit. The staff was very friendly and helpful, too. Also -- I see another reviewer had trouble finding a "notice to vacate" form. I've never had to wait on hold to talk to the staff, and it was very easy to vacate. I was able to give notice over the phone, and I believe I could have given notice via email or via their website as well. All in all, this was a very pleasant experience, and I will definitely use The Lock Up again if I need to store more stuff. read more

Have not had online access for months. Have been lied to saying we would gain online access. No understanding or sympathy from workers. Not solving problem. Horrible customer service. The only way we can pay is in person or over the phone. So if we don't pay in time we've gotten a $75 fee. Absolutely ridiculous to not be able to pay online. Working multiple jobs to support family I don't have the option to call or go in every month. It's been five months and I still can't log in. We are getting our stuff out ASAP! read more

Wow, LOVE storage facility! I had never used a storage unit before and called around before I decided on Lock Up. Not only were they the cheapest, but also they were they nicest units! They are excellently maintained with secure (security cameras everywhere including the top of the building so they can't be tampered with), climate controlled and carpeted units. Really liked the heated drive up garage for loading and unloading as well! Great customer service at the front desk that thoroughly explained everything-excellent facility! They lease month to month with a only a one week notice needed and prorate daily. read more

It has now been 8 min. plus however long it takes me to write this and I have been on hold waiting only to ask a simple question - I need a notice to vacate form and I can't find it online. Why the form isn't online is beyond me. Why I have to wait this long is ridiculous. Might as well mention that they also charge you an "energy" fee and the prices you see on their website are only for a limited period of time, then they go up. With all the fees, taxes, my reasonable rental price went up by about 20%. This place may look nice and be nice inside, but they take you for a ride just like all the others. It's actually kind of annoying storing stuff here because they only have two loading bays and a limited number of carts, and every single time I've come (well, except once), I have had to wait for someone to finish up and I've unloaded from the parking lot across the parking lot twice already. Understanding this is a popular enclosed storage facility, the least they could do was have more than two elevators. Instead they have two very slow elevators that have notes on them that state if you hit the door with the cart you will be charged for any damage to the elevator (remember, you're on camera!). But the elevator door closes too soon and the opening isn't appropriately wide for a storage facility, so of course you are going to hit the door. Again, ridiculous. I will choose another facility next time. read more
