I definitely will not be recommending the new management given recent events. 1. STORE took over and left everyone without storage access. Showed up to move into our new home and (to our horror) couldn't access our unit! Several other families were present who also couldn't access their units including a woman who was picking up wedding chairs. Nobody was on site to help during the transition and the customer support was useless. I should NEVER be unable to access my belongings. 2. STORE is an objectively awful name for a company given how difficult it is to search for. This is a minor inconvenience, but try searching "Store on Vicksburg" and see where you land 3. Management tried to charge us for a full month when we were two days late on move out due to our inability to access the unit on the day we planned. No grace period. No contract with us. No effort. 4. STORE took over in May 2026 but kept all of the Extra Space reviews which I believe to be misleading. The storage units themselves and the access point are great & affordable. If you don't need to contact customer service or work with management, you'd probably be fine but I'd recommend the Extra Space location nearby to save yourself the headache!

*buzz* As a visitor,…read moreyou ring a buzzer at the gate to be let into an expansive lot packed with RVs, trailers, boats, even gorgeous sports cars hiding their svelte frames under tarps. Head past these towards the office, and meet the team! Steve, Hanson Implement's friendly four-legged greeter, will likely be first to meet you by the door, followed by Rich Hanson. Rich'll want to determine the dimensions of the vehicle you intend to store if you haven't discussed it over the phone yet and lead you to the spots most ideal for your needs given his constant Tetris game of space availabilities and upcoming reservations. Make a choice between bouts of throwing rocks for Steve to fetch, head into the office, and be done with paperwork within 10-15 minutes, depending on how much darling Mia, Rich's feline secretary, feels she needs to paw through the papers you're filling out to ensure you're doing it correctly. Once paperwork is completed, Rich'll hand you the number of magnetized keys you put down a deposit for ($10 each as of August 2018) and send you on your way. Park your vehicle, tarp it over if you so choose, and use your key to get in and out of the lot gate. Oh, and expect your monthly bill in the mail in some weeks, as Hanson does not do digital payments.

Furthermore, I'm on the upper level of this two-story facility, and the elevator only works about a third of the time. This is a clean facility, probably because it's kind of new. And if you get a space on the bottom level, you won't have to worry about the elevator. But I would advise against getting an upper-level space here unless you don't think you'll need the elevator.

The quote was wrong, the movers were slow and one was exceptionally unprofessional (by any standard) cost me over 3x my estimate and there was damaged property involved and issues with fixing the problems. Don't use them. A pick up truck and 2 guys from the nursing home could be faster. I was so disappointed. 11.5 hrs instead of 3 and a half. I extensively itemized all my property as instructed as well. Should have been no issues. I wont post pictures of the day because I dont think it's fair to show them not being efficient.

This is a big deal when you're in the midst of moving your entire house. I was told "have it ready in 10 minutes or else we're not coming to get it for another week." THEN..when I called to confirm the next delivery of our pod to our new house...I was told "not going to happen and was told its not Jimmy John's service." I would highly, highly encourage anyone seeking to rent a pod to hire another company. I seriously doubted whether we would have our belongings when we moved into our new house. The drivers seemed equally intimidated by the owner Dirk Stevens. If you're smart, you'll rent from another company like Uhaul or Pods.

The manager who signed me up was great, however, the indoor loading/unloading area has one…read moresignificant problem. The parking space lines are painted the wrong direction, and the majority of clients are too stupid to ignore them and park the way they should. The overhead entrance door is on the northwest corner and it should be a quick left into the parking space. However, the lines are painted as if you're entering from the exit door on the southwest, and it takes several back and forths to get into a parking spot. Often, people can't make it, and take up more than one space. Also, any vehicle longer than a midsize SUV is too long for the parking spaces and partially blocks the drive through lane. Until these issues get fixed, this "indoor loading area" is a real PITA. There's another problem with the "indoor" loading/unloading area. Whenever a box truck or truck with a trailer parks just in the exit door, with the ramp down, it totally blocks exiting and makes the backward angle of the parking spaces doubly difficult to navigate. Everyone has to try to back out through the entrance. This is an extremely frustrating issue.
