I remember when I first completed my papers at public storage Mountainside, NJ. Matt the manager asked me to write a review and my spirit with a loud voice said no, I never did. During the severe raining season my unit was flooded, after I made numerous complaints, I continued paying my unit two weeks before due date. All my child belongings was destroyed and I humbly kept my cool. I contacted Sedgwick Insurance which dispersed a little over two thousand dollars. This is when the problem began and I was introduced to public storage Karen. I explained to the manager that I had to buy over 60 sterilite containers to replace the box. I had to beg to be moved to a new unit and the manager wanted me to pay to move to a new unit, this is where I finally had enough and realized how evil these people were. After finally moving to the new unit, explaining to them I can't put the molded furniture in the new unit (this is after throwing away so many furniture) that my child has breathing issues and asthma . Matt was okay with it and informed me to contact the insurance company for more money in which I did. Sedgwick Insurance informed me that he misinformed me. He later existed me from the old unit and padlocked my old unit with PS (Public Storage) lock. I'm not sure how the contention and disrespect began but I believe he allegedly informed the district manager of my race and quiet demeanor that she felt she can call me, insult me and tell me that I'm giving her a headache and hang up on me. My girlfriends are upset yelling get your brothers, no it's time to react. So many men wanted to assist me in moving my stuff out but if they are falsely attacking me like this, I didn't want to get anyone involved in unnecessary drama. Why I kept my cool throughout this whole process was I experienced this in 2017. I had another Karen attack me, my brother who is a lawyer briefly got involved I told him no. My spirit said to let them finish. In 2017, my 2016 Toyota Camry was taken, my house was gone and my job was contacted. I thought I was crazy for believing in my spirit, I was not. A few months later in 2018, I was blessed with a FREE brand new 2016 Nissan Altima (identical to the Toyota but better) a small house and a new job in one of the best school districts in New Jersey. I watched the same people get into horrific car accidents, dying of illnesses, and life in chaos. The universe has to balance out and we all must pay for the evil we do to people especially those chosen for this task. Throughout this public storage nightmare , I watch my child heal a hundred percent. Exactly when I thanked God for everything, the teacher passed away. My heart broke and I begged God to wake this man up for me because no mother wants to see their child hurting. This teacher honored my child before he passed never ever knowing the hell she went through. So losing the belongings at public storage was nothing compared to losing a good teacher. I know my child understands that God will restore the material things back to her but people don't come back. As the district manager, the manager and public storage now owes me a debt. When you do evil to people, you owe them a debt. I write this not to defame anyone character but to share my truth and warning. I know there will eventually be court proceedings because the harassing phone calls has not ceased. So when storing your property at any storage unit, please do your research. It wasn't until I began preparing for public storage that I found out about previous flooding and complaints. Please do your research. For the district manager I believe this was to reveal who she is to herself and a warning to change. I remember a story I heard in 2003 from Joyce Myers and I see it right here.. "One thing people need to understand about extremely nice kind loving people is their other side is just as extreme, it's the hell that they have survive that makes them gentle don't mistake their self control for weakness, the beast inside them is sleeping NOT dead". Update: After writing this review yesterday, this morning public storage sent me a notice of lien on a unit that no longer belongs to me. This is the plan, so we are going to court and the public will see the excessive harassment.

Can not recommend this place…read more I ended up needing another 2 storage units in the area because my original storage place ran out of units. Ended up at this facility. First spend at least 45min. in the office trying to handle the paperwork with a distressed representative. Afterwards I was explicitly told to ensure to cancel the unit certain days ahead. When time came to cancel the unit I called as advised and was told to just drop by the day off. When I cleaned out one unit and went to the office to cancel, the same distressed employee (no handling another customer at the same time) had me sign a paper and told me I was done, no further action required. When it came time to pay for the unit, I logged online to pay and noticed that the wrong unit was cancelled. I called and was told: "Oh yea, good thing you called, because we were going to break the lock tomorrow and get the stuff out." When I then raised my concern with this process, I was told the representative would call me back to let me know how to proceed. That I might get a month free. Once the gentlemen called back, I was asked to come in and pay the full price as they had to issue another lease. At the end of the day, I was so frustrated with the whole thing, I paid and just hung up. No apologies were extended to this day. Unbelievable. One day later and they would have had my items auctioned off. Incredible. I can recommend the All Seasons Self-Storage. Very friendly and personable. Great people and excellent service. I called yesterday after running up and down doing required documents for my transition to a new place and location. I called and told them that I will have to come in tomorrow and the guy said he will be there at nine. I wasn't sure that I can make it but I said I will try. Well today comes and I did not have the availability to be there at that time. I waited til I could have access to the car and rushed down the highway at 4:10 to reach the place. The place I am coming from is 30 minutes North from the location. So I tried to reach before closing at 5. I called the service and after being transferred twice I spoke to the manager that was there. I told him my name and that I will be there asap and apologized for being so late, which was 10 minutes away. He immediately told me in an extremely condescending raised voice that I should have called and I would have been there earlier. Both me and my mover was shocked. I had him hang up as I was driving. I did not drive all the way there to have to interact with a sassy staff.I do not feel safe leaving my belongings to a place that shows hostility to me over the phone. I haven't even signed my name to a contract and I do not have to deal with this, I am already stressed out by moving! My former roommate who is touring Asia this summer was going to choose to store her things in the same company and location but a larger storage, so we can drive together and it was a good price. When I decided to move across the country coast to coast, I couldn't think of any other option. It started off in October when we sold our house & had to get rid of half of our house. Genmove did the Junk Removal service to get rid of our headache. As we ended up selling our house early, Genmove picked up our stuff & kept it in storage for 2 months. On getting possession of our new house, we informed Genmove & they expedited the shipment & we got it in 5 days! We just received our stuff. They came to our townhouse a day before the move and efficiently packed everything. On moving day, they protected everything and removed it from the house, making sure not to damage the house in anyway. They have climate controlled storage. when we found our house in Colorado, They brought all of our items out of the warehouse in New Jersey to us. They did a phenomenal job unpacking. They set up everything they had taken apart and they put everything in the spots we wanted. Once again, nothing was damaged and nothing was lost. I highly recommend this company for Moving.

Just so you guys know - if you store things here, it could be stolen. It's not a secure facility and they completely dismiss any concerns about their security practices. It's not worth the rent you're paying.
