The elevator in the second building got broke by two pissed off, former customers who were angry about the prices going up & they destroyed the elevator, causing people to have to use the stairwell. This elevator should have been fixed as soon as the incident happened. I know musicians who store their gear here & they were NOT happy about having to lug their gear up & down the stairs! Now that the elevator has been fixed, things are better for all. The a/c in the second building could use repair, however. The saving grace, if there really is one, are very nice gals who work there. They are AMAZING! Please give them a raise!

They also don't have a person on site to talk with you about any of this. Everything is virtual corporate communications. Her positive attitude is contagious. She helped me with my storage needs. She was very thorough. She walked me through the property. The property is very nice. It looks brand new and extremely clean. It is centrally located, and unlike most climate controlled facilities. That one is actually cold inside. One of the things I noticed while touring the property was Renee knew all the renters that were on the property by name. I thought was wonderful. Throughout my three visits to the property to Renée was on site. One thing I will mention is being a store manager. I seen her personally with the cleaning cart and gloves on cleaning storage units cleaning as well as the facilities. As a manager myself, I thought her leading my example was amazing. She also checked on me to make sure I was doing OK because it was hot outside while unloading my U-Haul unit. She's very hands-on. She has a great personality. This store facilities is a very lucky to have her. I would highly recommend the facility based off of how clean it is, how well kept it, it's very centrally located in Phoenix. Justin was very helpful and he did a great job helping me get set up to get a unit. Everything was done on the phone and it only took a few minutes. Price is great for a large storage unit. I was shocked to hear how reasonably priced it was. I also love the setup and layout of the storage facility and units, compared to the other layouts of other storage businesses. I love that I can drive right up to my storage unit and take all of my stuff directly inside, as opposed to hauling a cart back and fourth. Also, I feel confident in this facility being safe and protected with all the cameras, gates, and security they have implemented all over the facility. I highly reccomend Sun Devil State Storage.

The big guy in the front is NOT friendly whatsoever, was rolling his eyes at our questions, not just with us, but other customers too. Telling us to put the rolling carts away even though we were literally in the middle of moving items? Making us feel stupid for asking if we could use the bathroom. So many other storage units to choose from, do not choose this one! Not asking for you to be the friendliest person on the planet, but atleast some respect and kindness would be appreciated if i'm giving you my business. They just want your money and you to be gone. Seemed like there were some hidden fees too that they try and hide until the last minute.
