Thenfront desk ladys are very helpful it is very clean and the 24 hour is great n as well I feel my belongs are safe there are all Leave alarms and its greated over all I would Recommend ustorage to anyone been there almost a year with no problems at all the day i got it i just lost my home I was crying and the lady in front gave me a rock that was painted t o male me feel better I still have that rock when i look at it it makes me smile even today read more

I rented a unit from these people a couple months back. I thought about their security that relies solely on the gate code. I figured I'd give it a try. They gave me a unit clear in the back right next to a wash. Then a month or so ago they called and told me my unit had been broken into. I stopped by after work that day to assess what was missing. They told me that I had to file a police report and claim with their second party insurance company so I promptly did so. I had to leave my Unit key at the front desk so they could let the vendor replace the door, which took about two months. I inquired about moving to a different unit that was closer to the front so they put me on the wait list. A couple weeks later they called and said they had one available, but it was $25/month more. I declined as I wasn't leaving and returning, just moving units. I don't see how they can justify the up charge for the same size unit. The insurance company sent me a notice they were still pending coverage verification. I asked the storage manager what they needed, they were absolutely no help and referred me back to the insurance company. Circle of service I guess. Fast forward to today. I get an email stating they were going to raise my monthly fees! No thanks. I'll be moving out before the increase takes effect. Oh, as my son and I were leaving, we noticed two more units that had been broken into. Their security is nil! These people have absolutely NO empathy. read more

This place is under new management. Rod and Colleen were absolutely wonderful and it was a real shame they were replaced with this new couple. So when you read the reviews and see the number of stars this place has, keep I. mind Rod and Colleen have not been there for I think around or close to 3yrs. Find reviews that are less than 3yrs old before you rent from this place. Don't be fooled by the lady with the nice telephone voice( Karen is her name). It's not consoling when your rent goes up every 2 to 3 months. I just wish they had a negative star rating I could submit. read more

I have been renting from U-Stor for over 15 years. During that time my smaller unit was broken into not once, but twice. I should have changed to a different storage facility, and that should have been a red flag for me. Instead, I moved into a larger unit to a more visible location. Even though my rent increased due to the larger unit size, I always felt that this company was affordable and reasonable with their rates over the years. Fast forward to the first quarter of last year 2021. Since then I've been receiving multiple rent increases. In fact, I have copies of 6 separate rent increase notices since then! It is outrageous and greedy! To put it in perspective, my rent has gone up incrementally to over 30% since March 2021. When I expressed my cost concern to the on-site manager, Karen, she explained that the increases among the older renters will continue through this year and next until they reach a level that is on par with their newly signed storage contracts. This is another huge red-flag, and frankly the last one for me. The value they claim to be proud of is clearly gone with this company and greed for profit has taken over. Renters beware! read more

A year ago I would have given them a 5 star rating but that was when Rod and Collene worked there they were awesome. Not only professional but super friendly and always looking out to make sure things were safe and it was always very clean. It did not matter if it was after hours Rod always would take a bike ride around the property to make sure things were good and always offered a helping hand if needed. I miss them. I have had a unit here for 3 years and the new people do not compare one bit they are far from helpful and if I can be honest not at all professional they lack major customer service skills. The property is not as clean and they tend to make up the rules as they go or see fit. As soon add I have the time and extra resources I will be moving to a different facility because I cannot see this relationship ever being a good one. If you set off the alarm to your unit and were there for the next 5 hours wouldn't you expect if not the police at least the facility manager to come make sure your unit is not being broken into???? Nope not here they just lock you out of your unit and charge you $50.00. Its unreal. Until they no longer work here I do not recommend this facility unless you require a true 24hour facility and enjoy rude unprofessionalism a few times monthly. read more

As we were packing we discovered the amount of items we needed to store were expanding. Judy realized they didn't have a 3rd unit and called several other local storage facilities in an attempt to help me locate one. When that didn't come to fruition, Judy emptied the unit they use to store their items for the facility and rented that to me as well. The place is clean and secure. Easily accessed. If I ever need storage again, I will call Greenway Mini Storage first. And I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone who asks.

A single key code of your choosing allows both property entry and cellar entry. Access to the property and cellar is available from 8 AM to 10 PM daily. The LED lighting in the locker area turns on and off automatically and can also be manually switched on or off. Lockers are available in two sizes: 3' x 3' and 4' x 3'. Each locker is approximately 3'7" high. You can buy a lock there or bring your own. As I have moved around the country, I have encountered several wine storage cellars over the years. This one is by far the best in terms of climate controls and ease of access. It's worth checking out.

First, they lured me in with an introductory rate, but made no mention that it was an introductory rate. My rent has increased 42% in 16 months. The possibility of rent increases are in the contract, but that kind of hike needs to be made abundantly clear from the start ("this is an introductory price ..." . I was extremely surprised at all of the increases I've had in just over one year's time. But, they got me. Access to storage is not much longer than normal business hours, which can be problematic. What's worse, they require you to provide proof of insurance or they will automatically bill you for monthly insurance. Unfortunately their central office and local office are not always on the same page, so I will receive notices multiple times a year from each for me to send them my insurance policy, even after I've already done it. In 16 months I've had to be on the phone with them somewhere in the 5 to 10 times range with billing or insurance problems, and add to that multiple emails. I send them stuff and they conveniently don't receive it. Last time, the proof I showed wasn't enough and they needed the declarations page from my actual policy and additional insurance info. I've got to contact my insurance company and find out the information that they want. All of this so that they can charge me an extra $12 a month. This sort of thing happens multiple times per year. Absolute madness. But I have so much stuff in storage that I would have to hire a moving truck to get it out and into a new unit with a new company. They have me over a barrel, and they know it. What an absolute mistake I made renting from this company. Huge regrets. This is the absolute worst experience I've ever had renting from a storage space, and I have been doing this for well over 15 years. Save your time (so, so much time) and money and stay away from this company.

both colleen and rod helped me out and as a single mom my finances are very tight but even though i didn't quite have all the money i owed them rightfully they gave me a break and took what i had and allowed me access to remove my property. you couldn't ask for more understanding individuals as these two on how life is sometimes when one is struggling. i will continue to use their storage facility when needed and refer everyone i know or come to meet that may ask about best place to go to rent a storage unit. as i do right now to those who may be reading this. again.i must say to colleen and rod, thank you both tremendously for your understandingness, helpfulness, thoughtfulness, and kindness you've shown me. you both were my blessing in disguise today and i am truly grateful for what you both have done. angels be with you both... sincerely, terri van zile read more

The old couple who manage the property are creepy and are constantly driving by your unit trying to see what your doing. I pay over $200 a month to store my belongings in a place that is worse than prison. If your in your unit more than 10 minutes, here come the guards, questioning you as to what your doing. I work at night, so when I left work and arrived at my storage unit that has no internal lighting, I waited for the sun to come up in my car. Well, of course I was loitering because I didn't open the door right away and now I have lost my 24 hour access privileges and have to pay a $50 fine that I was told by the old lady was going to be waived. These people are the worst and I regret ever renting from them. I DO NOT RECOMMEND U-STOR, WORST PLACE AND HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!! read more

Great prices and great customer service! Rod was very helpful with getting us set up. Upon moving in, I ran into a problem and could not finish my move until the next morning. Unfortunately, I had to return the truck and couldn't move all of my belongings inside the storage and had to leave my them outside. Not to mention this was all before U-Stor was open. While I was out, Rod had called me to that he just got there and noticed my stuff. Instead of lecturing me on not leaving my things outside, he took them and put them away until I got back. He was very understanding and wanted to make sure I had everything I needed. Everyone's at U-Stor are friendly and courteous. I Would recommend U-Stor to everyone. read more

I was assaulted from behind on the night of February 28th by another tenant. Sucker punched, beat from the back of head, slammed to ground and had my head bashed on the pavement. After the incident, the guy went back to loading his truck like nothing occurred. The police did nothing to help and did not pursue the guy when he fled. The office gave his first name, Aaron, but refused any more information. I spent one night in emergency but still feel awful. This is a place where violent crime is okay and your safety is not their priority as I reported him before and they did nothing. They have this persons info, and this violent criminal is still out there until his next attack. read more

I wanted to thank owners of this storage unit Rod and Colleen. Colleen was definitely appreciated to me since I came from another state. I was kind of nervous of requesting a storage and Colleen was so kind and appreciated to me as a welcome to Phoenix area. They both are always looking to protect the storage rooms just to make sure are valuables are not stolen or being removed. i enjoy their company and being so nice. This place is very cleaned and protected. When I go to my storage I always see non trash around the area. Thank you guys you are better than those storages from Texas. read more
