Rate hikes every few months. 3 months @170.00 4 months raised to 322.00 next 2 months jumped to 435.00. Only use this storage short term. 3 months or less as they will keep raising the rent. They are charging me more than double their advertised rates and when I contact them I just get the run around. For two months I have provided them my insurance papers and no changes have been made to the rates. They are astronomical compared to their advertised rates of $76 per month for the same space they are and have been charging me almost $200 a month for a 10 x 10 unit. I am disabled and a senior veteran, and they have made no attempt to make this right. This is just sad. I haven't even ever been late on a payment and have had this unit for years. August 2021- The Manager, Sucely Ortiz, was unfriendly and had a nasty attitude. Rude, curt, one word responses, bare minimum service. And to think that she's holds the title of a Manager; yikes. This was my first time stepping foot in US Storage and my first experience, in general, with the company. Bad first impression for sure. Based on the bad customer service alone, I wouldn't recommend US Storage, or use again once I'm done with my current usage of the storage unit. You all need to understand that individuals work hard for their money and don't want to spend their hard earned money with a company that's treats them poorly, refuses to positively engage with the customer and provides the bare minimum service. I do NOT recommend this storage location 43rd Ave and Olive. Not unless you want your stuff GIVEN to someone else and taken out of your name and put into someone else's without your permission, consent or knowledge. The live on site property manager Suceily has the worst attitude and her customer service is non existent. She always has a bad attitude it's like she absolutely hates her job but can't ever get away because she literally lives on the property. If you hate your life that much maybe find a different job. And beware because if you piss her off she will put you on the do not rent list and in turn get you get kicked out of your other storage unit at another location for no reason. To me the low prices are the ONLY reason I rented here for so long. The location on San Miguel is 1000x better. !!BEWARE!! i moved into the unit, everything was fine until 5 months later they increased the price of my unit by 200%. You read that right 200%. My rate went from $75 a month to $220 the next. I was not at a special rate. This is normal for them... their words. They will increase the rent every 5-6 months and there is no limit on how much they can increase. I never received any notice of this. They claimed they emailed me but nothing; I got all the receipts but nothing about a scam price gauge increase. Additionally the storage entrances inside are not cleaned or swept, it was full of leaves and dust and bugs. Which is really gross when trying to access the unit. DO NOT USE THEIR AUTOPAY help protect yourself from scam price gauges. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! There are so many other facilities that are super clean, and won't scam price gauge you once you move in. DON'T TRUST THE 4.9 STARS google review... those aren't real reviews, they're using it as a promo to get people in their doors. I moved out immediately. I am going to look into reporting to the BBB not sure anything can be done but it's worth looking into. 200% increase is just wrong. read more

Decent priced. Was able to use the truck which was super helpful. Trying to set up auto payments was a huge hassle but It finally worked. The website is very minimal and not very user friendly. This place is such a disaster. We had a small storage unit that was rat infested. When we reported it a few months ago, they said they would look into and we should get insurance to cover damages. Excuse me?! Why am I paying you to store my belongings with rats? We didn't have a choice but to keep our stuff there as our car was totaled soon after this. We just cleared out our belongings and found a dead rat in one of our chest of drawers and rat feces everywhere inside the unit and our belongings. I've had to wash everything twice to make sure my family doesn't get sick from this. This place is not safe for your items. Beware. read more

Appears to be frustrated with every customer she talks to. Frequently unavailable during business hours even though there are no signs posted on the door. Waited numerous times for up to 30 minutes before finally giving up. Raised my rent 4 times within one year. One time the manager told me sorry no one will be back in the office until 130. It's was 1215. If she's standing right there telling me that why won't she just help me? I can understand SOME rent raises, not 4, but the fact she makes is so difficult to even ask a question is mind blowing. How do you allow her to continue to run that place? Also when the pavement was redone both of my storages got extremely dirty. Up to like 3-4 feet in was blasted with course black rock and dust. I feel like there were not any measures taken to prevent this. All of my stuff in that area got ruined. I'm so disappointed. Meanwhile when I call the customer service line and ask for a regional person to call me back, I only received a call back once out of 5 requests. Come on guys. There is shitty customer service then there is you. Lastly, even though I provided my own insurance they continued to charge me on both units. When someone would finally help me they would reverse it then the next day they would email me that it's being put back on. The automated payment system sucks and never worked resulting in having to call and pay it every month. The regional man I spoke with said I would be reimbursed for the insurance I paid for since I provided my insurance documents to them four times BUT I NEVER RECEIVED IT. read more

US Storage operates by harassment, and I've NEVER even done business here. This place has spent over 2 months calling/texting me about someone's late storage bill. I don't have a storage unit, I've never set foot here, my name is not the name on the unit, I don't know if they transposed numbers or got a wrong area code. Honest mistake is what I thought, so I contacted them to let them know so they could update their records and remove my number. You'd think that would be enough, right? NOT SO! I've called numerous times asking they disassociate my number, but they are incapable/unwilling to remove my number. Never will I ever use US Storage Centers again. Moving on the 8th so I call to ask about how the prorates work. They only prorate up to the 5th, anything after that you have to pay for the full month. I've had this unit for over 2 years and paid my bill on time or early each month. We've used lots of storage facilities in both Arizona and Washington at various times over the past 30 years. This is the only US Storage Center facility that we've ever used, but can't say enough good things about this place. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful -- if you've ever used a storage company, you know that customer service is usually non-existent (sorry to bad-mouth another business, but an example would be Public Storage -- awful in so many ways!), so it's really a nice and refreshing change to find this place. Also, the grounds are kept perfectly clean, and I feel that my belongings are secure. We've had units at other places broken into 3 different times over the years -- I don't fear that happening here. Yolanda and Arman were the managers when we moved in -- fantastic! Now, have just met the new manager, Jim -- and he has been wonderfully helpful! (Especially nice, because we needed his help today (at the last minute leading into a long holiday weekend) -- Thank you, Jim! read more
