I was held hostage by another customer at the gate. I reported it to the management and was told that the man has been a customer there for 20 years and "that's just what he does". Then, the manager became argumentative and abusive. It is truly one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I'm a 65-yar-old disabled senior. I moved my belongings into this storage facility and have been a customer since January. I have been amazed at the complete lack of respect and care towards me as a customer - I sincerely urge anyone thinking about moving their belongings into this facility to consider if these are things they are okay with aggreeing to: 1. They have a surprise rent increase that they do not tell you about when you sign the contract. Mine, apparently, is on month 5 of the year and it is 'randomly' assigned. My rate for a 10x10 storage unit went from $69 a month to $120 a month. I was NEVER notified of this change. 2. Want access to your stuff but fell behind on the payment? Well after 10 days they lock you out of your stuff! Not only that, they charge you a $50 late fee. Once youre past 10 days, they CUT OFF YOUR LOCK and you guessed it, have to pay a 'lock cut off fee'. AND if you can conjure up the money to pay the late fees and multiple other fees they like to tack on, you'll have to pay a 'LOCK REMOVAL FEE' for them to take off the lock that they put on your unit. 3. Make sure you have your cell phone handy because if you accidentally stay in the storage unit past 6pm, you'll HAVE TO CALL THE FIRE DEPARTMENT TO COME LET YOU OUT! THEY DON'T LET YOU OUT! AND OF COURSE, YOU HAVE TO PAY A FEE FOR STAYING PAST CLOSING TIME TOO! THIS BUSINESS IS CRIMINAL AND THE PEOPLE THAT WORK THERE CONDONE IT'S TREATMENT OF ITS CUSTOMERS BY BEING EQUALLY AS HEARTLESS. Rent increase is outrageous. Signed a contract with these people for $90 then over the past 2 years, I'm now paying 150 and it'll just keep going up. Not worth the price for what you're getting. Just like someone else stated, if your late on a payment like in my case once (2 days late) from a hard time in that moment they add a $50 fee and it will add up but thankfully I was able to pay it before that happen. Very money hungry here and again... not worth the price for what you're getting. read more

Very happy with this company so far. Prices were the best I could find for short term storage with drive up access. The reservation process online was really easy to use and the facility is clean and easy to access. My only complaint was the one time administration fee was not clearly explained online. The fee wasn't unreasonable, only $10 and your rental for the first month is only $1, but it would have been nice to know about beforehand. read more

Deceptive advertising, reserved 2 units in advance, they stated they where 10'x10', in actuality they aren't quite 10' wide but more importantly they are barely 8' deep. When we confronted management they not only said sizes are approximate but they where stupid enough to actually say, hey, we didn't build them. Unprofessional and extremely deceptive advertising. WORST PLACE TO GO FOR STORAGE - My sister had gotten a storage unit here because she was moving to Oregon and She started to get behind on her payments so she contacted them and arranged for me to go in and make the payment on her account and collect her belongings. I myself even spoke with representatives from this company on four different occasions in the two days leading up to me attempting to collect my sisters stuff and I asked every detail nessecary and when I was working late and expected to be there even 15 mins late then I originally stated I called and spoke with the young lady at the front desk but when I got there the amount they said I had to pay went from $177 to over $300 I was dumbfounded they then told me it had to be cash and then when u asked why it was so much they said that they already paid for the auction person to come out and tPe up the unit ( even tho it was a day earlier the. They should have ) they just didn't think I was coming and since it was already done I was s.o.l I would have to pay the 300$ dollars to get my sisters belongings I asked for the district managers number or the corporate number I was told I couldn't have them o could only have the voicemail for the district manager which was some kind of google voice account!
