They aren't open 24 hours a day, but their hours were never a problem. In fact, the only problem I had was remembering which unit was mine (again, they helped me with a smile). The unit was climate controlled - not enough to store wine or chocolate during the summer, but enough that my bicycle tires stayed in good shape. They also automatically charged my credit card - something I'm always worried about being accurate. It helped so much to know I didn't have to remember a monthly payment. The unit was clean, insect and rodent free, and convenient. If I need to store more things, I'd choose this establishment again. Thank you!

Secondly they rented out our unit because we bought a second unit. We have 16 days left of the month to utilize our unit, but Lorenzo assumed we transferred and closed our unit. We did not cancel our first unit because they do not give you a refund of a unit. So we wanted to utilize that unit, however we went to get a lock and he sold it already and we didn't even have access inside the building. Today my husband confronted him about it and he said he sold the indoor unit because we didn't have a lock but he literally watched us and sold it right then and there. So we contacted smart stop via phone because apparently their managers have hidden information , we have to wait for the DM to call or email us within 2-3 days. We call the 800 number and Monica tried to sell us another unit for a whole month and add 16 days free. So basically SmartStop has our money for that unit for the month and now someone else is paying for a month for that same unit. They also send you a postcard size note in the mail almost quarterly telling you your price is going up. We started that unit at $60 and this month we paid $250for our indoor unit 10x10 only and we purchased an outdoor unit last week for $120 10x20. This company is the worst scam ever . Do not use them. I am paying the price and I am getting a lawyer

If you can relate, we all know moving is stressful and often unpredictable on how much space and storage you have left . I ran into some last changes and called the office, spoke with Scott who was so helpful, accommodating and most of all understanding. I have rented storage space in the past and it was difficult to reach someone. Not at smart stop storage! They truly care about your business and concerns. If you rent here, be prepared to move out in 4 months or pay extremely high rates. Every 4 months…read morethey will double your rates and they will not work with you. Instead you have to move your items somewhere else (or book another unit with their current sales) Facilities are nice. The associates on site have little to no power when it comes to rates. Mostly there to assign units and schedule move out dates. (Other than keeping facilities clean).
