Here are reasons why: 1: They will raise your rental space price at any given moment, 2x, 3x (my case: went from $65-70 a month to $210) and it will be at their leisure and does not matter how many times it is done during your rental (every month in some cases). 2: They will charge you a full months of service for even if your cancel on the 1st and or the 2nd of the month, on month to month rentals. 3: Customer Service is a .25/10 4: Location management has no true abilities to offer customer service satisfaction or ability to offer customer service satisfaction. 5: Call center representatives are: disrespectful, rude and have no true understanding of customer service. 6: Call Center Supervisors are unsympathetic, do not have any compassion, and truly do not care to satisfy the customers. I have a trailer parked at this location and it has been there for a year and a half. And that year and a half the rent on this one outdoor space with no cover has increased from $110 per month to $176 per month. When I ask the manager why they had raised the rent on so many occasions her response was, there are many factors to raising the rent. We don't just raise the rent for no reason. They must have some pretty good reasons to raise the rent almost 60% in that time. The customer service at this location has always lacked Zabel, but when I told the manager that I would be taking my shit out of storage, she hung up on me. That sealed the deal folks! I understand that inflation is a bitch, but this is pretty ridiculous. I'll be removing my trailer at the end of the month and I highly encourage people to shop around and not use Public Storage. read more

I rented from the specific Public storage at first it was great. Then they started raising the rent. When I asked them why they said because it's a month to month rental. Since there is no signed lease they said they can do what ever they want. They raised mine almost $90.00 wow! No warning here is what you will pay next month. What a scam. I paid on time every month. So I moved out of my unit last month. Price was going up approximately another $10/mo. 3rd increase in as many years. I emailed Public Storage about the constant increases and they agreed to keep my rate the same another 6 months. A family member found a unit at another well know company for a third the cost. The unit is farther away from me, however as often as I visit the storage unit, that was not much of a factor. This rating is all about price. The staff, security and access were all top notch. We paid to have our van stored in their "secure facility". Soon after we had our catalytic converter stolen at night by people renting a unit. They offered no help, no assistance in catching those responsible and denied any responsibility. ONE WEEK LATER after replacing the our technician took the van and left his own personal vehicle there and IN THE MIDDLE THE DAY IN BROAD DAYLIGHT his catalytic converter was stolen. They showed us a fake addendum accepted NO responsibility. Stay away from this business. They do not care about you and the do not secure their facility. read more

I had lotta stores doing it online and he was very helpful and explained all the rules for me was very clear about the process very respectful and a great man. Phone number provided goes to generic company line that takes forever to get a rep on the line. They promote their chat feature which is just some rep looking at your rental agreement only to tell you to contact the on-site manager (how?? Through your phone number that doesn't ring right to the store??). I got a notice rent was increasing. Third time in a year, and this time the amount was double the previous two amounts. All total, rent has increased 60% since I started 14 months ago. And the only thing you'll get out of them for why is that the service agreement says they can read more

Went to try and rent a storage unit at this place asked upfront about cost. Was quoted my cost for renting from the place period was shown a dirty storage unit with broken down cars in the parking lot. Kyle who works there is quite fat and lazy not interested in cleaning storage units. He also engaged in bait and switch sales tactics has taught to him by his corporate overlords. After spending 15 minutes at the place watching and help other customers instead of me(despite me arriving first) and finally getting down to renting the storage unit despite overlooking all the problems with the place he then let me know that they charged a compulsory insurance premium not closer to me up front. He also admitted to me that the facility security system was difficult to use and often not effective. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! read more

Crooks. We moved here in 2016. They were having a special, 1st month free promotion, so my wife and I decided to use this company. There was some confusion about the payment schedule, not sure where the miscommunication occurred. Long story short: our unit was locked up within 45 days without notice to us, no phone call, no email, nothing. Everything was gravy when we finally found out. We said that we would pay up to get our stuff back. When we paid and got back into our unit--lots of valuables were missing. My guitars, TVs, Video Game Units, Jewelry. We went to file a police report and realized how much of a headache that would cause. When I confronted the office employee, he was guilt stricken, couldn't catch his breath and I assumed that he was involved in some way. The worst part... my photography portfolio went missing. The time, effort and one of a kind prints are irreplaceable. What they did was not only unethical but illegal and seemed to be standard operating procedure. I don't recommend using this company on that premise alone. It took a minute to post this review but it is 100% accurate and I have several people who were involved who could back up my account of the events. We moved into one of the largest units they had, within 6 weeks they raised our rent from $181 to $212. Of course, we had a whole houseful of furniture we were not going to move, so we were stuck. I would not recommend renting from this storage unless they provide a yearly rate guarantee. Beware of the rent increases, which seem to happen quite often. We started off at $181 month...ended at $305...ridiculous. Of course, when we found a storage that doesn't have you held hostage, they offered to lower our rent from $305 to $274...wow...guess I should have told them I was leaving a long time ago. read more

I would have given this 5 stars except for one thing. Employees were friendly and knowledgeable. However at this very busy location they have only one computer. While they had 2 employees working, the man helping me and myself had to stand around while another customer was being waited on. I'm guessing about 20 minutes wasted just standing there. Not a good thing on a busy morning where we are packing things up and trying to get everything into storage. This store needs 2 computers. read more

Great facility with easy access, good hours and great customer service. Plus I used the $1 move in special!! Always paid our bill on time and now they are treating us horribly. We rented a storage unit B096 in early 2017. Our last day in the unit was November 25th. We followed their check out protocol by leaving the storage empty and clean. They told us to leave the door up and they will check us out during their nightly sweep. They then confirmed we were out before 12/1. Much to our amazement they auto deducted December out of our bank account. $131.39. We have called several times to have the money put back in our account since we did not utilize the unit in December. We are given the runaround "oh only our manager can do that." "We will email him to call you back." They keep stonewalling. I want the money back ASAP. I will be contacting my attorney if the manager does not call us back ASAP. Be aware their check out process is nothing more than a scheme to rip off good paying customers. No more excuses Public Storage. Give us the refund you owe us. read more

First off: no stars in not an option. These guys are not very honest. They are also the most expensive in the area, and make you pay for their insurance and their lock. Add that to their short access hours as well. We rented on July 28th paying what we were told would take us to Aug 31st with the move in special. Then found out on Aug 31st we owed over 200 dollars with late fees with no prior notice or attempt to notify us. After trying to explain what was agreed upon they would only reduce the charge to 180.00. We logged a complaint with their regional manager , but that manager has yet to return our call. This was in direct opposition to ARS, 33 -1701, 1703, and 1370. I also believe, but lack evidence that some of their 4 star reviews were allegedly astroturfed. My reasoning for this is that they are all grouped from within the same time periods, and this is statistically highly improbable and indicative of Astroturfing services. But I cannot prove it read more
