I trusted Steve McC. and his partner in crime, Rob, to get my things safely to Colorado. When they moved my stuff from Scottsdale to Colorado in August, it took them more than 24 hours and I paid for my own truck-not shared. All art was wrapped in paper when it was put in the truck, particularly three works by Thomas McKnight. Only one made it to my new home and it was unwrapped. Apparently, during the 24 hour "layover", Steve McC and Rob went through all of my things and took anything they perceived was of value, including jewelry, kitchen items, and even a special wooden box that I filled with fossils to give my 10 year old grandson for his birthday and a gorgeous set of wind chimes The McKnight art work was unwrapped. In fact, many of the items that did get back to me showed signs of being unwrapped and then taped up. During the time frame between Scottsdale and Colorado, they went through EVERYYHING and took whatever was of value. There is no way to get these things back, but it is obvious that they are a criminal enterprise and they probably would do the same thing to you as well if you use them for your move. DO NOT!

Anyways, calling a manager at this local won't resolve the issue because he failed to resolve it in the first place. All I wanted was a receipt in my possession for money given as a deposit. Clearly, he wanted to do something with the money. Now, I'm fighting with the 3rd party involved, StorageTreasure to return money they took for the sale of the unit at ExtraSpace. Storage Treasures says they have reached out twice without a return call. Again, show misdeeds. Management is being vindictive. My experience here isn't a good one, and I would not recommend dealing with management here.

We did a quick walk through showing what needed moved and they were upbeat and positive, ready to work. Danilo and Javier were very quick, professional, and mindful of expensive items and wrapped them accordingly. Once we arrived at the drop off location, we did a quick walk through and they remembered everything that they had packed and wanted to know where my wife and I wanted those objects placed. Our daughter was running around being a 4 year old and they were very understanding and made us all laugh a handful of times, being safe and not taking any chances. Everything was placed where we requested and payment time came around. I expected to have to play hardball a bit, as many coworkers told me horror stories about "additional costs" that moving companies like to charge.
