They came back 2 days later with their truck and loaded up the balance of my property, moved both trucks to my new location and unloaded both. These guys worked like dogs, but very efficient and friendly dogs! They were extremely careful with my stuff, and the only thing that got broken was a piece that I transported myself. I should have let them do it. They came in under what their original time / cost estimate was. POG responded right away to my initial email inquiry, stating they were not liable because the student chose not to be present during the move & that security footage shows the item entering the elevator. However, POG did not say where the item disappeared to after that nor did they have a description of the item to confirm if this was even the item missing. I responded requesting the document stating the student opted out of being present and the security footage. Despite their initial quick response I have not received a reply to any of my follow up emails. I waited a week before leaving this review but at this point I feel POG is intentionally ignoring my concerns. I would appreciate a response.

After we requested that our furniture be pad-wrapped for storage, we were charged $1,200 for 60 furniture pads at $20 each. Before work began, we were not given a written estimate stating the expected quantity or warning that wrapping could add approximately $1,200 to our bill. Our concern is not the wrapping itself, but the lack of transparency about the quantity and total material cost. A $20-per-pad price does not clearly communicate that approximately 60 pads may be used. A charge of this size should have been disclosed and approved in advance, rather than presented afterward as an unexpected surcharge. We asked Moving Team Six to review the charge and consider an adjustment, but did not receive the adjustment requested. Before hiring a moving company, get the expected material quantities, per-unit prices, total estimated costs, and approval process for additional charges in writing. This review reflects our experience and opinion. The lack of transparency and unexpected $1,200 surcharge made this experience particularly disappointing. I do not recommend hiring this company.

Chris called and gave me a rough estimate, then offered to give a more firm quote when we were ready to schedule. We had a house sale & purchase on the same day and had to coordinate our move carefully. At first, we were going to pack one day and move in the next day, but then my buyer turned out to be super cool and said I could take all day on selling day since he didn't get off work till after 4 PM. That was a good thing because of unforeseen circumstances and the estimate for my move was off. Nate was our primary guy and was extremely friendly and professional for the entire move. He communicated with us the entire day and even had to make 2 trips to the new house. He was aware of what time I wanted to clear out by and still took very good care of our belongings. Their time ran well over the estimated amount, but the guarantee kicked in and they only charged for 2 extra hours. Those guys worked very hard on an extremely hot day. I will be recommending First Class Moving & Storage to friends who need to make a move.

It took them 3 hours 15 mins which cost me over $600. The most upsetting part was the way Candice chose to handle the payment error and my dissatisfaction. I tried to pay by Zelle and her son gave me the wrong phone number. I spent the rest of my birthday weekend stressed out because the payment was going to the wrong person. I told Candice I'd follow up with her first thing Monday morning after I talk to my bank, which I did. I expressed my disappointment with the overall moving service I received. Her response was to state that "I don't think my son's going to forget my number". There's no way her own son could ever make a mistake right? He must be perfect. She also proceeded to threaten me over email stating she will file a theft of service if she didn't receive the payment that day. (FYI a civilian cant file a theft charge, you can only call the police and they choose whether to proceed or not) Not once did I ever ask for a discount or say I wouldn't pay. I simply expressed my experience to give her an opportunity to address the problems. After my bank was able to resolve the payment error I sent the payment to her as promised.
