One of the Movers told me he had problems unloading the warehouse. When he collected payment he told me the furniture could not be sold as the 6 padded chairs were scratched. They were not. He donated them. I would have preferred they be sold as they were only 3 years old and in good shape. Sorry I don't like to complain but I will not be using your services again. Long story short, I had them pick up thousands of dollars in furniture and Christmas decorations (a 13 and 15 foot Balsam Hill Christmas trees less than 2 years old that sell on their website for almost 3k each). I told them I was going to donate them to a church but they told me they could sell them and get me really good money for them. After settling in to our new home, I remembered the pickup and messaged them about the items as I realized I never received the login to see what my items sold for. They had no recollection of any of my items. They told me that it was a junk pickup and there was nothing in my collection that would be sold. Thankfully, I took photos of everything they picked up. Once I presented those to them, they told me they would have a manager call me back. Like other one star reviews had stated, my items were mysteriously donated. Not a single item sold. I would have rather donated all of my items to Habitat Restore if this were the case. I asked them where the items were donated and they couldn't give me an answer. Just sent me some generic form saying I donated a coffee table. It didn't even have the 6k in trees that I donated on the list. This company is a bunch of crooks. They don't sell your items. And if they do, they keep the money and tell you they donated them. I would not recommend this company. I would rather pay a mover to pick up my items and take them to someone who actually needs them opposed to paying these people to steal your items and make money off of them. read more

Remoov was easy to use and they were great at sending confirmations. I had to add a couple items last minute and it was easy to make the adjustment on site, I just told the guys what was needed to be added and they did it with no problem. Mike and Chorizo were great at communicating ETA and finding the most efficient way to load my items I to the truck. They were respectful of my house and loaded everything professionally and quickly. They also cleaned up the extra wrapping plastic that was left on the floor and returned the trash cans back from where they moved them so they could clear the hallway to take out a big sofa. :) Remove doesn't take cash but I used my credit card, no problem. A complete waste of time, money and effort. This sounded like a great idea. We had a bunch of high-end furniture (bought within the last few years from Restoration Hardware, Copenhagen, Drexel Heritage, Crate and Barrel, etc.) Remoov took it, and quickly sold a few items for insultingly low prices. The rest was apparently being "auctioned" --but where that "auction" was, is a mystery. These items never showed up on their website. Then, after multiple items showed as "processing" for weeks, most of the furniture was mysteriously "donated". My total "cash out" for giving them a truckload of recent furniture? A little over $150. But remember: you have to pay for Remoov to take your furniture away. And I paid $400 (plus tip) for them to take it. I basically paid several hundred dollars to furnish someone else's house. In retrospect, it would have been a much better idea to call Goodwill or Salvation Army and just given it all away. Hell, at this point I would rather have just had the furniture stolen. At least the robbers wouldn't have made me pay for them to take it. read more

Remoov lets you submit photos for an estimate and informs you of extra fees, if necessary. This is a fantastic service for those who have furniture or appliances that they want to donate but they are too large to transport on your own. The process is simple- take photos and submit them to the website- and from there the company is highly communicative in providing an estimate and setting up a pick-up date. Mike and Mario sent notifications the day before and then called the day of to let me know that they were on track for their arrival, and then showed up promptly and were both friendly and efficient in getting everything packed up and moved out. It's worth noting that if you have furniture\carpets with any per hair on them, the company has to recycle it (rather than resell it) so that will bump up your final cost. Even with this hiccup, Mike and Mario clearly explained what was going on and put me in touch with their manager to come to an agreeable resolution. I'd definitely use the company again and will recommend it to any of my friends with similar needs. read more

I was concerned that a $1,440 TV console was donated. what is the reason behind this ? 2) I am STILL waiting for a manager to call me back. My experience with Remoov has been horrible and irritating so far. Feels like a scam company. I had $18,000 (9 items) worth of modern furniture only 60 days old and was purchased from Wayfair. They 'recycled' a $1,440, 78" black low profile TV console and donated two bed frames with headboards (king and queen). They do not tell you why these decisions were made and you will not find out before they pick up the furniture. Once they have it the decision is purely theirs even though these are nearly brand new pieces ! I get it if they were old and beat up. I heard from one of the movers that he has in his home a piece of furniture that had been 'recycled' from another customer in the past. This person may have a piece that deserved to be recycled which is fine, but an almost brand new in amazing shape console ? I think not. All of the pieces of furniture were in great condition, with popular designs/colors which are still being sold on Wayfair's website. The 5 items they sold DO NOT even cover the cost to move the items ($422 including tip). I completely understand that I would never receive full price for the items since they were resale, but what you get for auction prices instead of selling them in a store or online means you get pennies on the dollar. Or less actually, because you receive no money at all for the items in your pick up that they recycle. Would have been less expensive to hire my own movers and donated everything for a write off. They didn't even wrap the furniture-just piled it in the back of the truck. No telling what the pieces looked like upon arrival to their warehouse. The couch still with new tags on it has been 'processing' for over two months now even though I have been told that the couch has been sold a while ago. I've been promised 4 times now that a rep or manager would call me back with a resolution after countless emails, but still nothing !! I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM REMOOV !!! read more

I am moving cross country and I am unable to take most of my furniture with me. I contacted Remoov who gave me an estimate for the pickup and details as to which items could be resold and which could be donated or recycled. I set up a delivery time yesterday between 10AM and 12PM. Unfortunately, I was told last minute by my landlord they could not park in the lot close to my apartment. When informed of this they were very understanding and said it would only change the estimate by about $20 or $30 (it was $19). Two young gentlemen arrived at around 11AM and had everything out of my apartment in the space of half an hour. They took a sectional couch, a TV, a desk, an office chair, a bed frame, and a mattress. They were quick, efficient, and very polite. They even offered to take some of the furniture not included in the estimate as they're aware I'm living alone and doing a lot of the heavy lifting for this move by myself. I did not take them up on it but I appreciate the gesture all the same. I cannot recommend Remoov highly enough and I encourage everyone in the Phoenix area to contact them first for removals. Remoov picked everything up, some items will go to consignment and I will receive 50% of sale price, some will be donated to thrift stores and I will get the donation receipts, and some things will be recycled/and or taken to the "dump". On 12/29 I had Remoov come and take away some of my bedroom furniture. During the visit I had heard a loud thud that sounded like something had hit my wall. After they had completed removing my furniture I came to discover this dent and damage to my apartment's dry wall. I reached out to Remoov and was instructed to submit a damage to property claim. They told me within 72 hrs someone would reach back out to me. It was been well over 72 hrs, I have called twice to get an update on how this is going to be resolved, and the manager in charge of settling these claims has not made any effort to contact me. I move out in less than 24 hrs and this damage will be taken out of my security deposit. I used Remoov after my dad passed away and needed to clear out his entire house in AZ in March 2021. As I live in a different state, it was the best option due to the limited amount of time I could be there. He also lived in a condo where community yard sales or estate sales weren't permitted, not to mention it was during Covid. Remoov came in to do a consult and determined what items they thought they could sell, what they would donate, recycle, etc. I knew that much of what I would be paying would be to haul away big furniture; however, I did also think many of the items they said would likely sell would, offsetting the cost. That was not the case. To date (July 2021), I think only 4 of 30 plus items have sold with many of them getting donated. This is not a bash against Remoov. I can see that their services have benefited many people and most everyone I spoke to was nice and helpful. I simply want to share that if I had had more time to sell things myself, I would have. For example, there was a large cherry dining room set that Remoov said they would recycle which essentially I would have paid for them to haul it away, so instead I sold it on Facebook Marketplace and made $200. In addition, because they charge by truck space, we ended up making about 20 runs to the local Salvation Army ourselves, rather than pay them to haul away and donate the items. Again, everyone was friendly and given the difficult circumstances we were in, it worked out. That being said, I'm not sure how much effort is put into selling. All in all, I paid about $500 dollars for them to take away the big items that we couldn't move ourselves and the items they said they would try to sell. I've made $75 and don't expect I'll make much more. If anyone is ever in a similar situation and concerned about money, I would suggest contacting local donation companies that will come and take away furniture (they weren't understandably during Covid) and other household items or sell/give away the items on your own. Also, Remoov does do free consultations so that could be helpful in weighing one's options. Best of luck! read more
