I recently shipped an $800 iPhone from this UPS Store and had a terrible experience. The package was apparently lost, and while the owner was nice when I first contacted them, there was no follow-up after that. Worse, the owner insists that UPS lost the package at their facility, but there's no proof that it even left the UPS Store! It seems like UPS isn't scanning packages properly, which leaves no accountability for when things go wrong. The lack of scanning makes it far too easy for packages to go "missing", with no way to track where they went. UPS and this location need to fix this issue ASAP--customers deserve to know their packages are being handled responsibly. I will not be using this location again and would recommend others think twice as well. read more

Shunned- I drove 2 hour from my home waste of my time. I got about have way across the room and the young lady asked me "Do you have a tracking.#?" As I walked in with my RMA # for my Dyson Return. She pointed at the door and told me to drive to a hub down the street. They do not accept Dyson here. FYI- The hub down the street had no clue what a RMA # was. This is definitely a training opportunity. Time to call it quits for the day. I guess I will try again tomorrow. Great Customer Service This location has it all, in-store and online printing, document finishing, a mailbox for all of your mail and packages, notary, packing supplies, shipping, and helpful staff. Yesterday, I knew I was going to be in this area, and rather than going to my local store, I called here to see if they had the special size box that I needed. And, they did. When I got to the store, the guy behind the counter didn't know what I was talking about. But luckily, my voice carries well. And, the rep who I spoke to, came around the corner. So, they rang me up on the box. And, a medium size picture box. While I was waiting, a female employee asked me asked if I needed help. And, a minute later, another female employee came out, and asked me the same thing. So, 5 Stars for customer service. But, I was shocked at the price difference between my local UPS Store, and this one. The one special box was 35% higher here. :-o And, the picture box is 3x more expensive than Uhaul. :-o Since I didn't want to make another stop to get the special box, I decided to take this one. I think we can all agree that we tend to be more diligent about posting bad experiences than good. I was in AZ helping my mother and needed to ship some glass items back to IL. I read some negative reviews of this business, the closest to my location, and went in prepared to exit quickly if the service was not good. The man who helped me was professional and gave me a good price for packing and shipping. I had hoped to watch the packing, but with several people in line behind me, that was not possible. The shipment was to arrive in 5 days, but arrived in 3. It took quite some time to unwrap the items, which were wrapped more securely than King Tut. All in all, the process went more smoothly than expected and the business deserves credit for its great service in my case. read more

If I could give them a zero i would. I'm so frustrated. I shipped from the other Litchfield Park location last year. They bubble wrapped everything and used packing peanuts. Last years gifts arrived perfect. This year I tried this location. Never ever again. They charged me $300 for what was supposed to be the same type of packaging. Nope. They just dropped all the packages in a box. No packing materials of any kind. Everything arrived damaged or ripped. I shipped to Illinois in advance of my visit. I saw the damage first hand because I had the utter disappointment of unpacking it. Thanks for disappointing me and my grandkids. What a total rip off. Took my money and did less than the bare minimum. You'll be hearing from me. Update 12/27/19: I returned to the store with my receipts and photos. I asked what the $54 "fragile shipping" charge included. The clerk stated "bubble wrap and packing materials." There was no bubble wrap of packing materials. At this point I showed him my pictures and asked why they charged me $54 for fragile packing but did not actually provide the service. He handed me off to someone else. I had to explain everything a second time. He filled out a claim and said "it will take about 30 days." I said "30 days? For what?" At this point The woman who built the shipping order appeared from the back. She stated "you will get your money back." I asked for a copy of the claim or something showing they filed it. I was told no there was nothing to give me "the claim has to be filed first." This is not how you keep good customers. I'll return in two weeks if. Don't hear anything. read more

There were two clerks when I came in. I was the only customer. One employee was busy entering data and a female employee was moving boxes behind him. Neither of them acknowledged me although they clearly could see me. I stood there approximately five minutes when four people entered behind me. We all just stood there until the female employee walks up to a register. There was no greeting, she said absolutely nothing. I have her my package, she printed a receipt and handed it to me. I've been here several times and have never had any issues, as I'm normally doing a quick drop-off with limited staff interaction. I came in yesterday (3/17/23) evening around 6:20pm. There was no one else in line or in the store except for me and the guy working. I walked in and he said nothing, granted I was looking at my phone trying to pull up my return info so it didn't bother me, then came to the counter and he said nothing. I told him I needed to make a few Amazon returns but needed to find the QR codes first. The QR codes were lined up in my email to make the process quicker, however I had trouble getting service on my phone so it took me longer than I was expecting . He was obviously put out that I was struggling with my phone and never made eye contact or acknowledged anything I was saying to him. After every QR code he bagged the items and aggressively threw them into what I presumed was the box for Amazon returns...I get it, point proven... you're clearly making sure I know you hate your job or hate that I'm in there. After a few minutes the exchange was finally over. He scanned the last code and printed out my receipt. I said thank you, he said nothing and I left. I get customer service has gone to sh** almost everywhere these days, but it's pretty rude to not say a single word to someone who is just trying to make a simple return. I get everyone has bad days, but after reading other reviews from this location it doesn't seem to be an isolated incident. read more

I experienced the worst customer service and they gave me a hard time about my address not being the same as where I receive my mail from because my neighborhood receives mail from a post office. I came back three times having to prove to them, I receive mail from the post office I used on my order and it wasn't until the 3rd time they asked a manager then they finally let me receive my package. They have a shredding service! Was scouring the area for a shredding service to finally purge the receipts and records I've kept since college. This location has some locked bins from a service firm that does just that. The two dudes manning the store were helpful, the charges were par for what I expected, and I got it all done in one quick visit. Can't ask much more than that. Looks like the have mailing services and post boxes, as well. And not sure what it is, but while I was getting my papers in the bins for shredding, three customers who were there to mail stuff griped at the staff about the prices to overnight or express things. And meanly. Credit to them for handling it well. read more

Great store. The staff is always friendly and quick. They have a wide range of services which is great for multitaskers. The have printing, copying, shipping set up, they'll take USPS for regular outgoing which is nice when I have more than one thing to mail but don't want to go to multiple places. They also have quick office supplies you can grab, PO boxes and more. The only thing I don't think they do is fingerprint clearance cards which is nice for employers but I know another UPS that does it so it's no issue. There's only one 5 minute parking spot but they're not usually too swamped and there's a whole Safeway parking lot right behind you so also not a problem. This one star rating is for service, pricing, management. I just walked in to have 5 pages scanned to my email and drop off a prepaid package to return to Amazon. No prices posted for scanning. Took him less than 30 seconds and he charged me a $1.00 a page! Almost $6.00 for 30 seconds of work. You can go to OfficeMax for 25 cents or the library for free. I was stunned and commented on how crazy the cost was and how i didnt find it fair since I wasn't even informed or a notice posted and the manager was literally standing right there and didn't address it at all. Then I had to ask again about my package that he had already taken from me. It was sitting on top of the trashcan. Then again had to request a receipt for proof that I dropped it off. Man, UPS really gouges your f*cking eyes out with shipping prices... But that's a decision made by the company, not necessarily this location. Thankfully, this location seems to be staffed quite well with friendly and professional staff. I do wish they would have more than one person on duty at a time, however, because nearly every time I've gone, I've had to wait in line for at least five minutes just to quickly drop off a package. Having said that, another plus for this location is that they have an educator's discount (highly appreciated), and they have someone who is a licensed notary, something I take advantage of regularly - and unlike another nearby location, this employee has the utmost respect for customers' privacy. The price The UPS Store quoted me was almost 3 times as much (using USPS) to ship a package as I would pay at the USPS. A small surcharge for convenience is fine, but this is ridiculous.
