Just rent one of the storage units here started last month, Steve the one and only employee here is super duper nice. Steve helped us and explained step by step how it works and so far works very well for us. We got at the 2 and floor and it's very easy to access. Loved that you can use the app to open the gate, so you can access anytime you want. The 2nd floor storage unit is easy to access as well, just go on the elevator boom, you are there. Thank you Steve for your service! read more

Staff is super friendly, but the constant rate increased makes it feel like a bait & switch with their pricing. They also claim to have extended their access hours, but that isn't the case at all. read more

I just wanted to say a quick thank you to both Jamie and Denise who made renting from Public Storage when I was in Scottsdale on business very easy for me. They both did exceptional things like driving to my location and helping me find a space that didn't require me to use an elevator and then letting me follow them back to the correct location. The staff at these locations are absolutely adorable. So if you are a single lady, I need help renting something that you're comfortable with for a short term. Don't forget to call Denise and Jamie. read more

Friendly staff and very clean! TJ went out of him way to help me. I really appreciate it!

Very clean location! TJ the manager, is always friendly and helpful. If you need storage around the airpark, this is the place.

This place was so great for 2 years Around boy who was there for awhile stole some things of mine He left after that Then a couple girls came to work in the office. They were dishonest and shady They were always gossiping to me about each other then trying to include me in their problems I just wanted to pay my rent and mind my own business. The one little girl said I tried to run her over with my car which was absurd. Why she would lie about something like that I'll never understand I moved and it cost me They were let go after that. This company Needs to hire people who are mature and kind They hire anyone. And don't care about the tenants just the money read more

TJ made renting a storage unit a great experience and fun! This place is clean and a great deal! I definitely recommend renting here!

Great location! TJ was very kind and helpful. All the options were laid out so we were able to find the perfect space. Would defiantly recommend! read more

Just a fare warning not to use public storage on Hayden. Our unit was broken into. The man climbed over and cut the lock from the inside. The manager there does not care says it's a police matter not hers. They took everything down to a winter jacket. They have it all on camera claiming they can't show us, BS if you ask me. Before she turned off the cameras I was able to catch this photo! It is what it is at this point. Just wanted to let you all know! read more

I have never rented a storage unit before, so wasn't sure what to expect. TJ helped us through the process, explaining everything in great detail. He spent a significant amount of time with my wife and I showing us the facility and ensure we understood the contract. Talking with him was like talking to an old friend, he made us feel very welcome and assured. Steve read more

Had a great experience and help at this location I always experience problems with the system online so I had to go in and received great help with Rosie Rosie is a super great person, very helpful and professional. She helped us with all the problems and we received and did it very professionally Highly recommend this location and I appreciate Rosie's fantastic help, we don't know how to thank her read more

Storage unit and facility is very good - easy access and everything is clean. HOWEVER, if you have any questions or issues with billing, or anything else, I wish you lots of luck!! I have written three times regarding the "advertised" special rental rate; responses have taken over a month, don't address the issue and refer me to the Customer Service number. I spent over 30 minutes in an endless loop trying to speak with an actual person. Front office person was borderline rude and as unhelpful as other customer service avenues. I would never rent from them again because of the contact issues. I've now paid full price for two months plus the $4.99 "special rate" for one month and I've rented the unit for one actual month, to date. Save yourself the trouble and rent elsewhere. read more

$345 or $688 per month? For the same size unit? On the same floor at the same time? On 3/2/23 Jeff at this Public Storage location explained the drastically different prices by saying that "I work for a greedy corporation that tries to soak you for as much as they can get and it's as simple as that." As a renter here since 2014, I was surprised to hear Jeff and T.J. both explain their company's strategy to deny lower available rates to long term renters. "Go for it" was the advice I received when I told Jeff I would be writing this review about the company's deliberate practice he explained to charge nearly double for the same size unit, on the same floor, in the same building, during the same time period. Jeff mentioned that he appreciated me filming our conversation in their lobby that day, so I'll be happy to share the recording with anyone who doubts that every word of this review is 100% true and accurate. read more

The lady Jenniffer was so nice and helpful with ideas on boxes and tape and locks. She is amazing

I have been a long time renter of the same storage unit at this facility and like others have commented. The property owner is greedy, greedy, greedy... I moved in at $158 for a unit and this month they have now raised my rent to nearly $400!!!! No joke. I have had to request rent decreases on a regular basis only to have them denied. Keep in mind that they advertise the same unit to new customers for $257 currently. This is a joke and I will be moving out after my 30 days is up and going with a more reputable and less greedy company. Public Storage... YOU have lost a long time customer that pays on time every month. read more

Two price increases totaling 80% in less than 24 months, because "we can". Terrible way to treat customers, no concern if they gouge you or not. I will be going elsewhere as soon as possible. I left U-Haul two years ago, but will be going back to them. read more

We reserved a unit online. The lady from the N. Hayden location in Scottsdale called the day before to confirm and see what time we would arrive. Since we had another 500 miles to drive, we estimated about 4-5 o'clock. We arrived about 3:30 and were told they rented our reserved unit to someone else after they confirmed with us less than 24 hours earlier. She said some gibberish about a reservation only guarantees the rate, not a unit. Their solution was we could park our vehicle with our household goods outside rather than in a garage as planned. Why did they do it? Did they get another day of revenue? Or get out of the half month promotion? We would have been happy to pay the day before, but they said we had to come in. Bottom line, these people are unethical, haven't a clue about customer service and should not be trusted! read more

I came in to Public Storage 5 years ago. Vita was the one who showed me the unit. She was very patient and kind. wanting the best for me. We have kept in touch over the years. My Mom passed away early this year, so we had to close the storage unit. Vita was so helpful, with phone calls back and forth. The Unit had to leave Scottsdale on a specific date, to get to Malibu. Vita took all the stress away. I would highly recommend Public Storage on Paradise Lane. Ask for Vita, she will make a difference. Happy to sign, Dawn Packer Cave Creek read more

This is my first time ever renting a storage unit and I'm so fortunate to have chosen this location. It's so nice and clean and even smells nice. I was greeted with a smile and a very friendly welcome. Everything was explained thoroughly and the tour of the facility was pleasant. Tha male manager there is the sweetest and most helpful person. His customer service rocks! I'm very happy with my choice thanks to him! read more

Prices are good for the area. I paid about $300 a month (with tax and the cheapest insurance) for a 20 x 10 climate controlled storage unit on the ground floor. Checking in and out was very simple. The staff is also very friendly. It really feels like they'll do just about anything to help you out. The day after I reserved my unit online, I got a call from the manager to confirm the reservation and see if I had any questions. On my first day, my gate code wasn't working, so she gave me a generic one until the problem could be sorted out. I was given a working code by the end of the day. The only negative about the office is there only seems to be one employee working at a time, so you may have to wait. It also closes in the early afternoon so that employee can go to lunch. Moving in and out is also pretty easy. There's also a couple of flat dollies left around to help you out, but I recommend bringing your own, they seem to disappear once in a while, even if you're the only person on the premises. The only thing I don't get is the hours. The storage area is accessible from 6am to 9pm. The office is only open from 9:30am to 6pm. If there are going to be so many hours with no on site staffing, why not just be accessible 24-7? Then again, what would someone be doing at a storage unit overnight? read more

No Problems and Good Location. Pat and crew always have great customer service.

Peter was very helpful. I couldn't of had a better person. I would recommend this place to store your belongings. Thanks again Peter.

Great place. Clean, friendly place. Mgr Ken has a nice smile, personality, and is knowledgable and helpful. I only need to store for a couple of weeks and he said they rent month to month, so 2 weeks would not be a problem. He also said he only needs 2-3 days notice before I move out. read more

A few weeks ago we stopped by to check out facility. Conveniently located to office and home. Pat gave us the tour. Very helpful and professional. Came back yesterday and rented 10x10. Again very thorough & professional but still friendly at the same time. Would highly recommend. I reserved on line and had a little trouble with web site. Couldn't get confirmation so I called the call center. Very rude male agent. Hung up and called customer service which apparently is different than call center. Lady this time. Different experience entirely. She confirmed my reservation, even called the facility to be certain I was confirmed. As I ended the call, Pat the manager at the storage facility called to confirm as well. DO RESERVATION ONLINE. any issues talk to customer service. DO NOT CALL THE CALL CENTER. CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

These guys are a bunch of crooks. It should be called "Do We Cheatem & How Storage" First off, they advertise a 10x10 for $98. "Click here to lock in you rate". So you click and when you go to book it with a van full of stuff it is now $125. They say the insurance is mandatory and later you find out it isn't. Check the hard to find delete insurance button on you account web page. You can't use you own lock. It has to be a $25 custom lock so they have a master key so I assume to remove your lock and lock you out if you don't pay in time. I was ther for 5 monthe and it went up from $125 to $140 so i left....DON'T USE THESE PEOPLE. read more

Beware! This business will not prorate your fees. I have been renting there for almost 10 years and pay over $400 a month. When I scheduled my move out date on the 10th day of the month. They would not prorate and refund for the rest of the month. I had to pay for the whole month even though I only used 10 days. So if you are planning on moving out of your unit, be sure and do it at the end of the month since you'll get charged for it anyway. What a rip off! read more
