    The staff at this location are so incredibly rude. When I left my trailer lot, I was accused of…read moreleaving broken glass. The staff member, Candace, told me I needed to pick it up to get my deposit. The tempered glass fragments were so small and from a former tenant. I, did however, spend 45 minutes in the blazing June sun picking up tiny pieces. After doing so, exhausted from the heat, she said it wasn't good enough. These fragments were not from anything that happened while I was renting there. I was not given my deposit back and was treated like a tool to do her work. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone. Cannot exoress enough how unsatisfied I was. The photos shows how I left the space.

This lot is ALWAYS getting broken into even the police say it's a hot spot that they are ALWAYS here! They take no responsibility for anything refuse to use their own insurance and just tell you I'm sorry unfortunately that's what happened and there's nothing we can do. Kathryn the manager is the rudest in the entire world! We own a moving and vault storage business and offered business suggestions and Kathryn just kept saying no they aren't going to do anything! She even said it was possibly an inside job. I wouldn't even waste your time trying to talk to her because she does not care at all and her customer service is the absolute worst. I'm opening up a case with the news to start investigating them because they are so bad!

    I started renting here in September 2025 and had issues at the very beginning. Money was taken off…read moreof my card but the facility said it didnt go through on their side. I had to wait until my bank dropped the money back to my account. After that, I signed up for automatic bill payment in October 2025 to pay my bill every month. In November 2025, I got an email saying that my payment didnt go through. I called my bank and was told that nothing had been presented for payment from CubeSmart. December comes and the same thing happens and CubeSmart said they billed me for over $400 and I called the store and complained because my bank kept saying that no payments were being presented. I had to send them copies of my bank statements to show that there were no transactions from CubeSmart. I ended up taking off work to go into the store to pay in person. I was assured that everything was fixed and there shouldn't be any other problems. I got no calls or texts in January or February, 2026 but this past Monday, I got an email notification that a verification code was sent to me for my CubeSmart account which made me go and log into my account on the app. I saw that I had a past due balance and I couldn't pay online. They also had removed my automatic payment method. I called the office and the district manager and got no answer so I ended up calling the corporate office where I was told that my property was auctioned off due to non-payment. I told the representative that I hadn't gotten any calls or texts and I had called the office and the district manager and got no call backs. The representative informed me that they sent an email on January 26th about the payment and then removed the account from automatic payment. She also told me that the rate had gone up. I informed the representative that no payments had been presented to my bank and this had happened before and CubeSmart said it was fixed. I also told her that removing my payment method without informing the customer is illegal and no notices was sent to me by mail or email about the rate increase, payment being missed, or the auction. Most companies send this by email as well and theres no notifications of that in my email. She took my complaint and told me that the regional manager would call me back. I told her that I was filing a complaint with the BBB and the Arizona Attorney General because this is so unfair to do to customers and steal their belongings.

The price I started at was about 1/4 this cost. I called to talk to management about the price gouging and the call was answered by Christian. I asked what a unit would rent for today. On the site I believe the rents are between $130 and $170. He said the rents go up and down. Mine has never gone down even though anyone renting today would be paying about 1/3 of the cost. I am paying. This is how they reward long-term customers! When I asked Christian to quote me a price for someone new renting today, I was put on hold for 30 minutes. This is how they evade questions from loyal customers. So disrespectful. Obviously evading the question. When I hung up and called back, of course no one would answer. Be clear, I have a job that I am also working during the day and do not have time to play childish games. Great customer service for a company that supposedly won the customer service of the year award. Next, let's talk about the fact that they changed the door in my storage unit without contacting me first. They also let workers from outside of the unit change my door without any supervision from anyone on the site, which is required. When I said, so there's a possibility that things are missing from my storage unit, they could not confirm whether there was or not. Mind you I am out of state and that is why I need a storage unit. I would have to travel across the country to look. they are required to let me know anytime they do something like this ahead of time and did not. My advice is for anyone looking into storage not to use this company or deal with Christian In Scottsdale, AZ. This company preys on people.

As I looked at the positive reviews below, it is very clear to see that all the good reviews are 5 star, not 4 star or 3 stars. They are all 5 FIVE STAR. Hum, what does that tell you? Now looking at the reviews of several of the not so happy customers, it makes me think that they must be those few customers you can't ever please. I have a retail background and know the type oh too well. I have done business here since they opened. And yes, like many businesses, there are introductory sign-up, move-in specials.... just like apartments do but rental rates do rise.... as is everything else in our world. As for the General Manager Michael S, I have gotten to know him quite well over the past 6 or 7 years and have never experienced anything close to what you describe. My thought is that you must have really pissed him off. He knows his property better than anyone and treats it like his own. He has always been extremely helpful and friendly, and he is extremely knowledgeable. He follows the rules of his management and knows how to provide top-notch customer service. And he is the reason that I continue to rent from this facility. If he were to leave, I would move on as well. My last comment is that there are those people who feel they are entitled, have no idea how show others respect and are seldom happy people. I was at my storage units last Sunday and called for an elevator with a full cart in hand. The cab arrived and the doors opened. I was greeted by a woman who looked the type I have described above along with her husky helper. I was walking out with a full cart of items. But she just stood there like I was in HER way. I said excuse me, so that I could exit out of her way. She just stood there for a second or two before she finally stepped aside. No smile, no excuse me, no reply to my "Have a Nice Day! If I happened to be a store employee and she walked in with that personality (or lack thereof) with an attitude she displayed to me, I would be put on the defensive and that's not a good start to our interaction. Looking at the bad reviews, the posters obviously are seldom happy as seen by their prior reviews. To you I say, "Only You Can Make It A GREAT Day" but perhaps you should just stay inside today. WLP.
