We were looking for a storage place on or near Cave Creek Road. We checked out several places. This one had the right size for the right price. We've had our storage unit for several months now. Recently, we needed to switch the type of unit we have. The transition was easy. It's run by a husband and wife team. We've dealt with both. They have been very helpful and courteous. The worst storage facility in town! Staff is nasty , facility is dirty and they lie about prices!!

I couldn't recommend Tatum Ranch Storage Solutions more than I already do! Marty and Patty, the managers really know how to connect, and treat their renters like family! They are so friendly and accommodating! They are here to help you, with all your storage needs, and not to take advantage of you! Your items will be well kept, and stored in a clean and climate controlled unit. Access is awesome and easy in maneuvering, any vehicle in and out with ease! From the beginning of storing our household belongings, to packing them back up, to their forever home, it was easy as; 1 2 3! Marty and Patty were so helpful, and offered us their moving van for easy moving convenience! Like I said, they are here to help you with all your needs, and make life so much simpler! We were actually sad to leave! Who can say that about their storage unit supplier? This is my second time to rent a storage space from Tatum Ranch and I give them a 5 star rating. It is easy in and out with your own gate code, and you can drive right up to your unit. The prices are the best I have found and I have gone to all of the closest ones around, Tatum Ranch has the best prices. Another thing that I really like is the managers live on site so there is always someone around who can answer questions, keep an eye on things, etc. I didn't rent a climate controlled unit because the things I'm storing don't require it, but they have them available if someone needs that type of storage. They also have storage for RV's. The Manager, Nick Sheldahi is very good at working with you to find the best unit size and price to fit your storage needs. The receptionist /customer service agent is awful! She has such a bad attitude that it kind of brought me down. She must hate her life.

Seriously unhappy with this place, after a year and four months. No customer service, nothing special about this place. I was recently in a bind and needed them to cut my padlock ... or borrow a pair of cutters. The fee, for that, is apparently $51.00 to help you out of a bind when you loose a key, even if you're buying a new lock from them. That's taking advantage of people in my book, for a few minutes of effort. I rarely rant on yelp, my experience this morning is deserving of it and I agree with previous reviews, the front desk folks could use a lesson in friendliness, service and outside the box thinking. Patty is the OWNER & RECEPTIONIST she has been nothing but HORRIBLE to deal with in every way. I had my account on auto payment and they kept forgetting to use card on file so locked me out twice (and it was their fault)! She actually said to me today "I hope you come and get your 2 surf boards today so I don't have to barge you another month of rent". EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! EXTREMELY RUDE! WORST STORAGE EVER. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! If I could I would rate ZERO STARS! She obviously doesn't need the business! If I could do zero stars --I would. I rented a unit while I was back temporarily in Washington DC. Shortly after leaving AZ, they jacked my rent up from $152. to $234.27 --they knew I was in DC so what could I do. Their contract allows them to change rent /w 30 days notice--it was so dishonest to make such a large change so soon after renting. When I first moved into my unit #0445 I was concerned about a large crack in the floor--they told me the property was graded so water would not be a problem. They were right--water was no problem but the termites that came up through that crack destroyed all my furniture was a BIG PROBLEM. I lost over $20k --we lost everything that had any wood in it. The moving company refused to load it. I had to make other arrangements to haul all of our furniture to the dump. TRSS could care less. Their contract protects them from any liability and my typical renters insurance did not cover pests. The termite trails went from that crack into adjacent units too. I told the manager she needed to alert the other tenants but she just shrugged and walked away. This place is termite infested. Termites eat cardboard too ---so if you are storing boxes then you will bring termites into your home. We had to unpack our boxes on the driveway with a chemical buffer and inspect every single thing we took into our new home. An absolute nightmare. read more
