We wanted a place that was climate controlled since summer was approaching and not only are these units held at a nice temperature, the facility is super clean for a storage place! After looking at some pricing online, we came in to get our account set up. The guy working (who I believe was the manager but his name is escaping me) was so friendly and genuinely knowledgable. He wasn't pushy at all trying to sell us, just provided information and his recommendation if we needed one. He showed us to our unit, made sure our lock worked, gave us a rundown on the facility and offered us water. You have a personal code for main door entry and then of course a key on your own unit. You must purchase a lock yourself but they have some available for purchase which are great. They also have several carts available at both entrances for your use. When it came time to vacate, all we had to do was sign a paper after emptying the unit and we were on our way. Our items honestly didn't even look like they had been in storage. I would definitely return to this location if I had any additional storage needs and recommend it!

They also packed all the items to be moved to the new apartment and then unpacked them in the new location. Their attention to detail was spot-on and all interactions were very respectful and aimed to help the customer figure out how to organize the new, smaller, space. "Moving day" was a long day and Jenny & her team were efficient and pleasant at all times. I highly recommend this company.

She is also very pleasant to work with because of her upbeat caring personality. The first time I met Jenny, I was not well and in need of help going through things in my home to decide what to ship to my other out of state home. Never overbearing, her helpful suggestions were well thought out always keeping in mind my needs. She carefully organized, packed, measured and weighed each box so that everything was was ready to be picked up at my front door. Jenny also photographed donations for my records then dropped them off at the donation center for me. Because I had planned on being away for months, Jenny suggested then took photos of my good silver that I was not moving so that I would have it for insurance purposes. Something I had not even thought about. Months later, when I decided to stay longer at at my other home, Jenny helped me once again. She went to my house and found everything on the list I sent her then professionally packed and shipped it all to me. There were many sentimental and fragile items. Everything arrived on time in perfect condition. Most recently, Jenny came to my rescue once again when I decided to sell my home. Downsizing and moving to another state is overwhelming and extremely stressful. Because of COVID I could not return. I was totally dependent on Jenny's expertise. It was a huge job. Doing this remotely via phone, photos and FaceTime felt like an impossible task but Jenny made it all seem so effortless. Her genuine compassion in understanding my concerns gave me so much peace of mind. She treated my home and all of my belonging like they were her most precious possessions. Her continuous communication via phone calls, photos and text messages kept me apprised of every aspect of the entire project from start to finish. She was always tireless, cheerful and on top of every aspect of my move right down to recommending a great moving company. As an added bonus, Jenny sold things I no longer needed or could not fit in my smaller home and took other items to consignment and donation places. Her knowledge of what would sell, where to sell it as well as pricing was extremely helpful. I was pleasantly surprised how much she sold! Jenny's professionalism at my home when meeting buyers for the furniture and other household items she sold for me was also impressive. To avoid having strangers walking through my home, she had things ready outside whenever possible. When picking up larger items Jenny stayed with each buyer while they removed their items. Thoughtful of my finances, she scheduled items to be picked up during a time she was already at my home working on other things. Every detail of clearing out my home was completed quickly, efficiently and so much easier than I could have ever imagined. I highly recommend Jennifer Almodover and More Than A Move!

    Marty, the sales guy, was good, followed up and returned my calls quickly…read more They did not charge extra for moving a piano, or for using shrink wrap, which put them over and above other moving companies I called. Marty recommended getting 120 pads from the truck rental company, and now I know why: if it isn't boxed or wrapped, it will end up damaged somehow. I did not get 120 pads because 1) the truck rental person I spoke with did not agree that I needed that many and 2) it costs quite a bit which I had to pay up front. It wasn't like I could just take as many as I thought I'd need and return the ones I didn't use for no charge. No, my card would have been charged and then refunded later, but who wants that hassle? So, you should probably pony up for all those pads if you decide to use this company. The movers weren't bad guys, but, I think they were in a hurry and a little careless. Our refrigerator, dining table chairs, my hope chest, and TV were all damaged either with scratches or, in the case of my hope chest and TV, broken parts. We had 3 movers and the last 2 of the 4 hours they were at our house, the third guy was mostly standing around. But, kudos to Move For Less, when we told them that was the case, they charged us the 2-man rate for 2 hours instead of the 3-man rate. Additionally, we knew the TV was broken before they left, and broken by their guys. The guys called the main office to tell them, and the management offered to give us another TV. While that was a nice gesture, we were leaving the state the next morning, and it was 7pm. We did not have time to go and pick up a TV. We would have just preferred a price reduction. So, all in all, they were okay. I thought their pricing was fair and competitive. I thought the charge for the 2-man rate was a good solution. But, I am pretty sad that our things ended up damaged in small ways. And, I think the packing of the truck could have been done better so as to prevent those small damages.

Then they refused to open the truck with our belongings and handed me their phone to talk to John who told me we needed to Zelle him $1,400 (pay upfront more than double the quote) to have them open the truck and finish the move. Icing on the cake- they broke our brand new black&decker air conditioner after dropping it while moving it out of the truck. The guy, Chris, insisted it was only scratched and not internally damaged and refused to pay for it. Also, the other mover had the nerve to call me a couple days later and complained that we didn't tip them.

    I met Jordan, the manager of Life Storage, located at 4725 E Dynamite Blvd, Cave Creek, AZ 85331,…read morelast year while looking for storage options to better align with my current needs. I spoke with him at length and was extremely impressed with his expertise and vast knowledge of the industry and his facility. He exuded professionalism, kindness and concern in helping me resolve my storage needs. He also demonstrated a phenomenal level of customer service that seemingly has been lost at many businesses, especially since the pandemic. It was a refreshing experience to have a productive, intelligent conservation while exploring several storage options. I ultimately did not move the contents of 3 units from a sister location due to moving costs, which I've come to regret; however, I'm working towards that now. Why? I've been renting at a sister property for many years with the previous owners. Last year, after the company was sold to the current owners, I discovered extensive water damage in one unit - apparently due to numerous failed roof repairs as told by a previous manager and associates (I was shown videos & still photos). During negotiations to remedy the situation, there was a managerial change at the sister facility. Without going into detail, communications with the new manager became threatening and heated. With nowhere to turn (i.e., no customer service available by phone), I reached out to Jordan due to the confidence I felt when I first met him. He documented the situation and spoke with upper management to properly take control of the situation. I was again thoroughly impressed with his high level of professionalism and customer service. He is an asset to his company, team, facility, and especially to his customers. If you are seeking a store manager and facility to best meet all your storage needs, you should consider contacting and/or visiting Jordan. You absolutely will be glad you did! About the Facility Looks brand new, even though it's two years old I believe. There are upgraded amenities everyone will appreciate, including a large indoor bay area for convenient offloading of trucks and parking of cars. This is a highly appreciated game changer, especially during inclement weather - nobody likes to move in the rain! The exterior and interior are immaculate and well-lit, especially the entire interior of the building, including individual lighting in some units. There is an abundance of security cameras, which provide an added layer of security and protection. I would not hesitate going there at night.
