My wife and I are using Extra Space Storage while we move from out of state and look for our next home. They have been so easy to work with so far. Very helpful and communicative. Mary Kate has been wonderful. She is a gem. We've used another storage company in the past. Never again. Only Extra Space Storage moving forward. THANK YOU! read more

Stopped in Cave Creek location and met Ron who helped me right away to find the right unit and size for me. The unit was clean and lock was provided. How easy. Great value for what I got. I'm very happy with cost. Thank you Ron for all your help and providing me with a great service. read more

The staff is so helpful! They called me and explained all the logistics. I was able to drive right up with my movers find my unit and all went smoothly. Now I just make my payments through the App and have no worries. The place is secure and I feel my stuff is in good hands. Highly recommend this place!! I don't know if all the extra space storages are like this but this location is amazing!! read more

Great customer support, management is super on top of everything going on in the area. I was provided storage flexibility and peace of mind. I do want to add that you need to be aware of the area and the other occupants, do diligence and lock everything up. read more

Secure. Convenient. My trailer is kept outside under a car port. It's easy to access and always available.

TERRIBLE SERVICE! Have paid for a storage unit for almost three years. Today I got a group together to pack, use their vehicles and to assist. Made it to the facility at 8:30 this morning. Keypad down. No one on premises to help. Called all numbers associated. Was told NOTHING they could do as wasn't an emergency. No consideration that for me it was. I've got several cars packed with nowhere to put it and 110 degrees out today. Last call, of 3 made, I was placed on hold and after waiting was hung up on. WORST customer service ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only deserving of negative stars, but couldn't submit otherwise. read more

Great service great attitude and easy to deal with and a clean place. That young lady up front does a really good job keeping it clean! Highly recommended! read more

I stored here for over 6 months never had a problem good place to rent a storage room.

I was in need of a storage unit while trying to find affordable housing. I've had storage units before with other companies and this is by far the best experience I've had. Doris is cheerful, helpful and goes out of her way to provide the best service possible. I'd recommend Extra Space Storage on 17407 N Cave Creek Rd in Phoenix to anyone. Prices are good and service the best! read more

They were great from start to finish. I used their storage space during a home remodel. Nope part of my remodel has gone smoothly. Thank the Lord that the amazing folks at this Extra Space Storage location have made the entire process beyond smooth and easy. I could just cry happy tears. I would recommend to everyone this place for both long and short term storage. The place is incredibly clean and I have complete trust my belongings were safe and cared for. Thank you so very much! read more

We are very happy with Extra Space Storage. The outside lockers are raised up from the driveway so they are protected from water leaking in. The store manager, Doris, is wonderful and really helpful. The lot is well lit and really clean. read more

When you sign up, there's an incentive that states the first month is free. However, when I initially signed up for a storage unit, my monthly rate was $216 a month. Six months later it increased to $260. Six months after that, it increased to $333. This place advertises discounts to entice you to move-in, but then jacks up the monthly rate every six months under the guise of "availability." This place was good for a short-term solution. If you need storage longer than six months, I would advise going elsewhere as they definitely play some dumb games with raising their monthly rates. Including sending a flimsy postcard stating that the rate's increasing. I set up my monthly billing on automatic bill pay to insure payment. They don't ask if you accept the new terms, and/or if you want to continue renting under these new rates, they just take your money regardless. Seems like the term "Bait & Switch" definitely applies here. I was pleased with the local staff, but calling the national corporate office to get answers as to why the rate increased was an abomination. read more

We needed space and frankly so many units are rented here in the valley. ESS was a bit further of a drive then preferred but they instantly made up with it by having great rates and a staff that overly communicated. Place is clean and units were as well! Highly recommend them for all your storage needs. read more

Doris was super helpful both on the phone when I was looking and in person when I rented my unit. She left no detail unaddressed and accommodated my requests. read more

The customer service with this company is good and the manager is fine. That's not the issue...They give you 1 month free, but you still pay a fee which is okay. BUT after 4 months they cranked up my rental fee. They didn't even have the decency to wait 6 months, and I have 2 units... That was painful... So I would recommend find a company that offers a contract not a raise your rate at will with this company!!!!!! read more

Great place to do business with. Scott is awesome with storage needs. We are very happy with the unit. read more

There will be huge pool of water after the rain for days. They say it drains water slowly and they can't(and won't) do anything about it. I guess you need rubber boots to get to your vehicle or trailer. But that just not going to work for us. Other than that it's a good place, they have reasonable price. read more

Doris was really helpful. I found out she lives on property in case there's an emergency which makes me feel really comfortable leaving my valuables here. read more

Other than the fact I had to call several times to check on the auto pay status of my account the first few months, I love this storage unit. read more

Super friendly. Fast service. Very helpful. They don't try to push into something bigger just what you need

The day I arrived to use my reserved unit I was greeted promptly and with a smile. The process was quick and easy and I only had to pay the admin fee as the first month was free. Only thing I did not like was that I was not told prior to that day was that insurance was necessary. You either must get protection through them or already have your own property/renter's insurance. Overall I am very satisfied with my experience. read more

Very efficient and friendly service! I would highly recommend this place!

Scott and Doris are great people to work with. Any time I interact with them they are friendly and personable. I have a large Travel Trailer that I needed to store. Scott spend quite a bit of time trying to find the perfect spot for my trailer. Doris and Scott, had me come to the facility 3 times to show me options. We finally found a great spot that fits my trailer and does not negatively impact other renters. He additionally would not sign the paperwork until I brought my trailer onsite to ensure we both were comfortable with the location. Prices are the best around, access hours are great too. Multiple security cameras throughout the facility. Very happy with their service and facility. Thank you Doris and Scott! Dan read more

Snowbird looking for an inexpensive place; this was just what I needed. Service was fast and efficient. Easy in and easy out. Great staff! read more

I'm just starting to move my things in to my unit, but so far my experience with Extra Space has been great! The cleanliness is very good, and the on-site manager couldn't be more welcoming and patient. The only thing that I would change would be the hours that customers are able to access their belongings. I wish I could go in the middle of the night or very early morning and drop a load of my stuff off. The heat of the day is extreme to me (I'm from Michigan, so the heat is intense), so if I could do all my loading/unloading when it's cooler outside, that would be ideal for me. Other than that, this place is great so far! read more
