TERRIBLE SERVICE! Have paid for a storage unit for almost three years. Today I got a group together to pack, use their vehicles and to assist. Made it to the facility at 8:30 this morning. Keypad down. No one on premises to help. Called all numbers associated. Was told NOTHING they could do as wasn't an emergency. No consideration that for me it was. I've got several cars packed with nowhere to put it and 110 degrees out today. Last call, of 3 made, I was placed on hold and after waiting was hung up on. WORST customer service ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only deserving of negative stars, but couldn't submit otherwise. read more

When you sign up, there's an incentive that states the first month is free. However, when I initially signed up for a storage unit, my monthly rate was $216 a month. Six months later it increased to $260. Six months after that, it increased to $333. This place advertises discounts to entice you to move-in, but then jacks up the monthly rate every six months under the guise of "availability." This place was good for a short-term solution. If you need storage longer than six months, I would advise going elsewhere as they definitely play some dumb games with raising their monthly rates. Including sending a flimsy postcard stating that the rate's increasing. I set up my monthly billing on automatic bill pay to insure payment. They don't ask if you accept the new terms, and/or if you want to continue renting under these new rates, they just take your money regardless. Seems like the term "Bait & Switch" definitely applies here. I was pleased with the local staff, but calling the national corporate office to get answers as to why the rate increased was an abomination. read more

We needed space and frankly so many units are rented here in the valley. ESS was a bit further of a drive then preferred but they instantly made up with it by having great rates and a staff that overly communicated. Place is clean and units were as well! There will be huge pool of water after the rain for days. They say it drains water slowly and they can't(and won't) do anything about it. I guess you need rubber boots to get to your vehicle or trailer. But that just not going to work for us. Other than that it's a good place, they have reasonable price. read more

The customer service with this company is good and the manager is fine. That's not the issue...They give you 1 month free, but you still pay a fee which is okay. BUT after 4 months they cranked up my rental fee. They didn't even have the decency to wait 6 months, and I have 2 units... That was painful... So I would recommend find a company that offers a contract not a raise your rate at will with this company!!!!!! read more

The day I arrived to use my reserved unit I was greeted promptly and with a smile. The process was quick and easy and I only had to pay the admin fee as the first month was free. Only thing I did not like was that I was not told prior to that day was that insurance was necessary. You either must get protection through them or already have your own property/renter's insurance. Scott and Doris are great people to work with. Any time I interact with them they are friendly and personable. I have a large Travel Trailer that I needed to store. Scott spend quite a bit of time trying to find the perfect spot for my trailer. Doris and Scott, had me come to the facility 3 times to show me options. We finally found a great spot that fits my trailer and does not negatively impact other renters. He additionally would not sign the paperwork until I brought my trailer onsite to ensure we both were comfortable with the location. Prices are the best around, access hours are great too.
