My experience started with a phone call, shout-out to Colton (or Caleb? either way, Customer Service MVP), who explained everything like I was booking a penthouse instead of a storage unit. When I showed up a few days early, there was a tiny hiccup (we'll blame Mercury), but by the end, I was a part of the Tempe Choice family. Access hours are great (6 a.m.-10 p.m.), it's secure, clean, and easy to pull up, unload, and move on with your day. So yeah... So, I drove over there and tried to get an answer about why this was happening. "Girl" at front desk didn't have a clue why $1 was still showing as open, even though I explained Yolanda told me what was due when I brought the check into the office. It was very frustrating. I would not recommend this establishment. My neighbor told me they used to rent there but had their rental amount increased 3x in one year!! I'm going to move out.

I went into the Old Town Scottsdale U-Haul to take a look at the boxes in person to assess how many containers could fit in one. Tim L was the gentleman who helped me. He took me outside to show me two different U-Boxes. I had many questions, he was very patient and gave me an explanation of how it would work and even discussed how many containers should fit in the boxes. By the way, It was 106 degrees that day! He even recommended what padlocks to buy which I did purchase from Uhaul. Tim was so professional, knowledgeable, respectful and kind. The elevator in the second building got broke by two pissed off, former customers who were angry about the prices going up & they destroyed the elevator, causing people to have to use the stairwell. This elevator should have been fixed as soon as the incident happened. I know musicians who store their gear here & they were NOT happy about having to lug their gear up & down the stairs! Now that the elevator has been fixed, things are better for all. The a/c in the second building could use repair, however. The saving grace, if there really is one, are very nice gals who work there. I can understand needing to raise prices but raising someone's rent 400% within a year is crazy. People are living out of units with nails throughout the road/access way by the units. They also don't have a person on site to talk with you about any of this. Everything is virtual corporate communications. Sorry to leave a negative review but this is the worst storage rental I've experienced and I'm leaving asap.
