Totally understandable, but still kind of wild for Arizona! Luckily, it's fall, so my stuff's living its best, comfortably crisp life, not melting into abstract art. Here's the good stuff, I scored a stellar savings because they were running a current rate the day I went in. Always check both online and in-person, the office staff might have a special going that isn't listed. It's not permanent, but it's a sweet little temporary perk. My experience started with a phone call, shout-out to Colton (or Caleb? either way, Customer Service MVP), who explained everything like I was booking a penthouse instead of a storage unit. When I showed up a few days early, there was a tiny hiccup (we'll blame Mercury), but by the end, I was a part of the Tempe Choice family. Access hours are great (6 a.m.-10 p.m.), it's secure, clean, and easy to pull up, unload, and move on with your day. So yeah... I'm happy, my stuff's happy, and if they ever add climate control, this'll be an easy five stars. Bonus points for saving me a few bucks in the process.

We typically see the same people at their units each time we visit. They appear to be living out of the units and most definitely homeless. Not only that, but they are temperature controlled and incredibly secure. I've been storing stuff with them for years and have never had an issue. The only downside is they are only open until 6pm during most of the week, except Sunday's which they are open until 5pm, so you do need to get your storage items in-and-out during business hours. Other than that, they have dollies for you to use, locks you can purchase, and a video security system so everything is locked in and safe. I definitely recommend renting a unit at Inner Space Mini Storage if you are in need!

I called and called (they were open) and no one answered the phone. I left a message saying I had a receipt for my payment but then 2 hours later I received an email saying my rent was past due. So, I drove over there and tried to get an answer about why this was happening. "Girl" at front desk didn't have a clue why $1 was still showing as open, even though I explained Yolanda told me what was due when I brought the check into the office. It was very frustrating. I would not recommend this establishment. My neighbor told me they used to rent there but had their rental amount increased 3x in one year!! I'm going to move out.

The elevator was damaged because another customer overloaded it. Not Public Storage's fault. However, the ongoing impact has created safety, security, and accessibility concerns. I actually strained my back and had a scary moment where my foot got caught in the stairwell and I tripped--OUCH. The box I dropped had nothing that broke. However, because there are no cameras in the stairs, I worry that if someone fell, no one would know. Additionally, because of the 24/7 access, tenants leaving after hours often prop the doors open for convenience, which leaves the building vulnerable to unauthorized people. I appreciate the reduced rate, but I strongly urge corporate to support this great local team by providing temporary security and on-site movers (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) until the elevator is fixed. This team is 5-star, but they need more corporate support!

I went into the Old Town Scottsdale U-Haul to take a look at the boxes in person to assess how many containers could fit in one. Tim L was the gentleman who helped me. He took me outside to show me two different U-Boxes. I had many questions, he was very patient and gave me an explanation of how it would work and even discussed how many containers should fit in the boxes. By the way, It was 106 degrees that day! He even recommended what padlocks to buy which I did purchase from Uhaul. Tim was so professional, knowledgeable, respectful and kind. When I spoke to the manager, Victor, he was just as respectful and kind. I definitely recommend this U-Haul. Great customer service! Thank you guys!!!

Location has good sized parking in the back with lots of vehicles available to rent! Downside of this UHaul location is that it is a good size, and with this much traffic, it will appear that service is slow as majority of customers are here to rent a truck!
