Just leased a storage unit a month ago. When rent was due, I hand delivered a check to the office on the 27th. Three days later, I received a text saying my rent was past due. I called and called (they were open) and no one answered the phone. I left a message saying I had a receipt for my payment but then 2 hours later I received an email saying my rent was past due. So, I drove over there and tried to get an answer about why this was happening. "Girl" at front desk didn't have a clue why $1 was still showing as open, even though I explained Yolanda told me what was due when I brought the check into the office. It was very frustrating. I would not recommend this establishment. My neighbor told me they used to rent there but had their rental amount increased 3x in one year!! I'm going to move out. read more

WARNING: this is a bait and switch business. They draw you in with a cheap rate wait 3 months and then raise it. 3 months ago I wrote a review stating that I was scammed by this company and there rate hikes and terrible customer service. My review was responded to by the company for me to reach out so they could fix the issue I reached out via email and never got anything back. They did lower my rate but not back to the original rate was still 10 more then I used to pay. my rate before tax was 49 then 59 which was still 10 dollars more then I paid when I signed up now there going to be raising it another 10. I looked again online to rent a new unit same size is cheaper then what they are raising my rent too. If they cannot afford there bills without gouging there customer then they shouldn't be in business. I will be looking into finding a new place that doesn't raise the rent every three months. The price should atleast stay the same for already a year and if they are raising everyone else's rent new units should go for the same price. It's also in the contract they can change the rent without notice. Super predatory if it wasn't close to my house I would have never rented here. Rent at your own risk read more

I gave 60 days notice that I would be moving out Sept.1 after they doubled my rent with no explanation. When I arrived to move, I found a lock had been put on my unit. My monthly payment had come due a few days prior and I was waiting to pay because I should have only been due for 10 days pro-rate. They demanded I pay for a full months rent for me to get my belongings, even though I wouldn't be in the unit for most of the month. The property manager was extremely nasty and rude when I tried to plead my case. This place is very sketchy and has the worst customer service of any business I've dealt with. Stay away. read more

I rented a storage unit here 6 months ago. Signed up for what i felt was a fair price. For there smallest unit.Out of no where my bill doubled due to them saying it was more expensive for up keep. When I look on line a new unit the same size is the same price I signed up for. Wouldn't they raise all the prices if it was more expensive for up keep. They said they sent an email which I never got it went to my junk mail. I called to ask about why the price doubled. The guy I talked to was very rude and only said I got an email and that's how it is. I can't believe they would double the rent when the price for a new unit same size is the same price as when I signed up. I feel I was scammed. The price went from 59.99 to 111 that is bait and swich.I feel like taking my business else where. I pay my bill on time every month why raise the rent for valued customers but new customer it is cheaper.i would not rent space here unless your only renting for 6 months or less because your bill will double. Attn Owner. I'm appreciative that this facility was convenient, accommodating when I needed to both, size up, then size down, then up again. Overview 2 -3 years of renting, I experienced inflationary rate increases that make no sense with know grace, explanation and way out of market fairness.... I get supply and demand, but doubling from 325 month for a large 9x20 to over 600 month within 6 months.... And again, I've been loyal and never missed on time payment. It's just bad business. I wish you the best as I am leaving. Competitor up road offers elegant service, flexibility in terms, and climate control. Friendly helpful and delighted to have my business. I hope this feedback helps you and your strategic branding approach. Your front line staff is essential and the flexibility and terms need to build loyalty and value. I have been a long term renter at this facility. 4 months ago I moved to a smaller unit to save money because my rate had increased. They just raised my rent again on the new unit to a rate even highter than my previous unit was. I have left multiple voicemail messages for the property manager, district manager and sent an email. NOBODY has responded. Very unprofessional and poor business practice. Do not trust this company. read more

Worst experience with storage EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1st day moving in waited two hours with paid movers as no one showed up to open the doors. Had to call three times and was told a manager would call me he NEVER did. VERY hot over 90 degrees in unit on first floor water cooled NOT AC! Needed a second unit and was charged double but they never told me until I complained in the office as the room was half the size of the first one I rented. When they admitted I was over charged after calling numerous times and checking about a refund I finally got an automated message telling me my refund would come in FOUR to EIGHT weeks. I rented a unit 5x5, for 30$ in November. 3 months later, they increased the rate to over 90$!!. I understand it's a month to month contract and rate increases are the norm, but to triple the amount in only 3 months is exorbitant and a perfect example of bait and switch. After trying to talk to someone at the office (both times closed with a note on the door) I emailed the manager and was told this was "due to supply and demand, rising costs of doing business, all storage facilities raise rent", etc etc. Yet they are still offering units for 10, 20, 30$ per month. Do yourself a favor of not having to move all your crap after 3 months and choose another facility that values your business and time! read more

I needed a short term rental for a very small amount of items (a carry-on worth of stuff) and appreciate that this place is month to month, so that's the first benefit. It's also located centrally for me, has bus stops nearby, safe area, and other people renting have been kind/keep to themselves. The second benefit is the team. Cassandra and Daryl have been incredible; they got me set up in less than 2 hours and 1 of those hours was me transporting. If ever I need anything, they're available (during business hours, at least, as that's the only time I've needed to reach out) and friendly. They are second only because everything is pretty straightforward but I appreciate them, nonetheless. I've only met one other woman in the office and I don't recall her name, but she was kind as well. The one downside is it's not open 24 hours. I chose to leave a 5-star review because everything else is great; it's not their fault my classes don't end until 9PM and the information was conveyed to me before, during, and after booking. Also, there's no a/c (at least in the basement), but there's huge fans and the area is kept cool. You can purchase a lock from them for about $10 which is what I did but I've seen others with their own. Overall, the greatest thing to me is having a safe place to keep my stuff and I personally find it affordable. Everything was included in the pricing and there were no hidden fees. While I'm hoping my housing comes through in the next few days, my experience here has been great and if need be, I will definitely be booking for future months. read more

The facility is lovely and secure, the staff very kind and helpful. What I failed to learn or be told was how quickly and how much the monthly rent would increase. I have had my unit for exactly one year and the rent increased 67% by the fourth month and is now 210%, that is, more than double the starting rent. This may well have been written in paperwork I did not read, but I was in a quandry needing storage immediately so didn't take time to read the "fine print". Overall a very nice facility, but beware astonishing price increases after you move in. read more

I wouldn't ever think about doing business with this company again, especially after my move-out experience. I paid for a unit here for a lot longer than I anticipated and experienced the following: -Horrendous billing I lost count how many times I had to call in to correct them when they billed me for the wrong unit or the wrong amount and my emails about the issue went unanswered. They also made several promises to refund me the 1/2 month I didn't use and then the entire story changed on my scheduled move-out day this month -Skyrocketing Rent Prices In the last year alone that I used this facility they raised my rent by 40%, with no warning for either of the two increases. And this was after repeatedly botching my bill, requiring me to go out of my way to get them to correct their own issues -No use of the dumpster They won't let you use their dumpster, even for papers and have a big sign which threatens big fines if you do. But they have no problem encouraging people to dump their trash at the Basha's across Granite Reef. I wonder if anyone knows about that at Basha's. -Paint dust They painted with a cheap spray method that left a layer of white paint dust on all of my personal items and furniture. I still haven't been able to clean everything. Avoid this company and this facility. read more

I have recently rented an additional storage unit at Storage Now Scottsdale on McDonald. Flor, the manager, is the best yet. She is knowledge about units that are available and readily available to take the time to show you around, even during the covid crisis. She is both professional and friendly. The facility is extremely clean, there is sanitizer on site, the carts are routinely cleaned as well as the floors. There is a mask requirement which I appreciate as a senior. When I wanted to lease an additional space Flor showed me around with options to combine units or do separate ones. She is also available by phone or email with touchless contact. I've been a customer a long time and cannot imagine going anywhere else. I have also spoken with Luis on property and he is equally helpful! Good job! read more

Beware. My husband rented a 5 x 11 unit online via the company website. When he arrived at 5:30, he was told that they did not have the size available any longer, and that they would need to put the items in two 5 x 5 units. This must certainly was not ideal as we planned to later bring mattresses and the size would not accommodate the larger items. At this point, we really just wanted to unload the items as it was too late in the day to find another solution. After the items were loaded into both smaller storage units, he did discovered that shut up the lock was broken and we certainly were not willing to leave our items there unlocked so will have to be moved to the other unit. Murphy shut up wet I know if you want my help to say that he was a 5 x 11 they ordered and then they give you two 5 x 5 I didn't see if I believe another in otn read more
