I will NEVER rent from Public Storage again and we have not even accessed our unit yet! You can not find a live human at a single property ever!! Yet there are multiple requirements (when storing a car) that necessitate you being in person at one of the locations. We have been on the phone 4 times today, once with a supervisor, who gave us conflicting information from customer service and NOT ONE PERSON HAS HELPED US!! We have now driven to 4 locations and NO ONE is anywhere to be found. Unbelievable that they are ever able to rent to anyone! read more

I made a reservation online weeks in advance and showed up at 5:00 pm, as instructed to arrive 30 minutes before closing (posted as 6:00 pm). When I got there, the office was completely empty, with only a support number on the door. After calling, they told me they could process everything online, but as soon as I gave them my reservation ID, they claimed the unit was "no longer available" and then tried to offer me the exact same unit for double the price. Once I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was put on hold, and then they disconnected the call. This place operates like a scam, and the other reviews say it all. Avoid at all costs. read more

Please please PLEASE don't give your $$ to this company. We thought things were great until our bill went up $60 after 6 months. I called and the guy said we're lucky we called that day because he was quitting that afternoon! He said he was tired of working for such a corrupt company. That is their common practice. 6mo in they do a drastic increase. He got it back down for us and highly suggested we jump ship. A month later we were told as long as we were out before they withdraw from our account we were good. We moved out the day before (the 1st of the month) and were told explicitly at the front desk we would not be charged. We were! The full month for being in there 12 hours. We had to call multiple times to dispute and every time it was "we'll get this taken care of and call you back". We never got a call. Just a collections notice. I called the storage unit today to dispute and the guy was VERY rude and condescending and wouldn't help at all. This place is corrupt and extremely rude and dishonest!!! read more

Price gouging at its worst. Rent increased by $300/mo in two years, ending at $424 + tax. Got a rate increase every 3 to 4 months for two years. We don't live in Arizona, but finally flew back in town to move to a unit down the street that's $117/mo. Even with the flight and hiring movers, we will break even after two months. When they saw me moving out, they actually approached me and told me they could help me with my rent payments. Too little too late... Don't let them say that demand is the reason. All you have to do is walk through the facility and you realize that a ton of the units have no locks on them. And notice I did give them two stars. The facility is in a good area, and is very safe. The staff is very friendly, they just have absolutely no power to do anything. read more

This is the 2nd time I have used Public Storage and will absolutely be the last. The facility is great, clean, everything that it should be. But I have been renting there for 6 months and I receive notice that my rate will go up 30% for no reason. Doing the math, my total would be paying an additional $797 extra in a year which is egregious. I contacted customer service and the best they could was offer me a slight promo for 3 months then back up. There is no justification for that type of increase, and as a newer customer, it certainly puts a bad taste in my mouth. For the $797, I will hire a moving company and will be moving out asap, purely on principle. Very poor business model and terrible service. And yes, this happened the first time I used them as well. AVOID at all costs, they will absolutely jack up your rates every time. The facility gets my only star. read more

I have been renting 2 units from this facility. There is no security! I recently needed to get something from one of my units. My key did not work. The core was supplied by Public Storage. I contacted them askiing if they had a master key, no. They would not be able to unlock it but would be able to have a locksmith drill out the core but not until the first of the next month which was 28 days away. I was told I would have to hire a locksmith, which I ended up doing. Prior to doing this the locksmith noticed there were shavings and "pins" lying on the ground. I was told the core had previously be drilled out. After drilling out the new core I was able to confirm the numbers on the keys did not match the numbers on the core. This is not the core I had been given. Someone had previously drilled out the core and replaced it with another. This cost me $175 for the locksmith. I was told by the "manager" Ashley, that I would not be reimbursed. Anyone can walk into the facility and start breaking into any unit since there is never anyone on site. read more

This Public Storage location earns 5000/5 stars! I've never seen a storage facility as quiet, clean, brightly lit and secure as this. Definitely 5/5 stars. The other 4,995 stars are owed to the General Manager Jeff. The pride he has for his facility is evident at first glance. Even more amazing is the care and concern he shows for everyone who rents there. He knows your story and offers the most genuine encouragement you could imagine. Renter BEWARE...they raise your rent every few months. I've had several increases. This last time another 50$. People park in front and block car access or they go in the front and park in both lanes, no signs to advice these people. Elevators don't always work. Security cameras glitchy...how safe is that? Facilities are new so that's a positive but really sucks they raise rent based on mortgage rates, yet this is not a place to live in so why compare to residential prices?? Not impressed. And if you have issues, district manager never calls and hard to get to anyone higher above than him. I gotta find a better place. read more

I have been at this location since they first opened about 24 months ago. Have had 2 rent increases totaling 80%. When I called and asked about it they said they were raising the price "because we can". Yes you can gouge your customers, but when they all leave you may wish someday that they were still there. read more

My wife and I sold our house with nowhere to go. She had been a long time public storage customer so she knew where she wanted to go. We rented a 10x30 unit for all our goodies. I believe it's Dave who is the regular guy at the desk. He's always ready to help out with getting the door open while our movers moved in and out. Dave also helped us get a second unit at the last minute. A5x10. The place is Air conditioned and you can pull your car right inside to load or unload. Initial sign up was easy and the front desk was extremely helpful. Thoughts found a great place. For that and cleanliness I give it the 2 stars. Was there for about 5.5 months. Front elevator out of service more than it worked during this time. This was incredibly inconvenient for second floor handicap unit access. No discounts just 'We're trying to get it fixed'. Asked about move out and told just provide 2 day notice. HOWEVER when I did, I was told you get billed for the entire month. No proration! That ISN'T a 2 day notice unless you plan to move out on the last two days of the month. Turnover in front desk help was also an issue. Gone is the helpful, knowledgeable individual from Sept. Replaced with someone friendly but she seems in over her head as to providing assistance at a storage facility. read more

I rented a unit right after they opened. Within a few months they increased my rate 30% saying the rate I was paying was not equal to the competition. Definitely a bait and switch tactic, now that they know they've got me committed to the space. They also charged me a late fee on a payment, when I proved the check was mailed and they admitted they were having problems with their mail delivery. Just an excuse to force me to go on autopay with them. Do not trust the district manager of this place. I will be vacating as soon as I can. read more
