Great people working customer service on the phone and especially at the local Storage in Fallbrook, California and she was absolutely WONDERFUL, I forgot her name .... BUT (and it's a BIG but) the company gets you in at a decent price AND about three months later doubles the price on the rental!!!! It's a Crazy bait and switch crap! Wow, did I ever get lucky? I can't believe it's been seven or eight months since I've had my storage there. However, whenever I went in to pick up or drop something off, I felt really really safe and that my household items were very secure at their facility. I am very satisfied with the the services provided to me at Extra Space Storage in Fallbrook. From the start the staff has treated me professionally, courteously, and have been more than accommodating. This facility is secure with surveillance cameras and your choice of either standard padlock or digital lock mechanisms. This location is clean and well maintained. Extra Space storage has a lot to offer and to me knowing my personal belongings are safe and secure is the most important. At Extra Space storage in Fallbrook I have that peace of mind. All the staff here are friendly and knowledgeable but one of the site managers in particular IMO that goes above and beyond is Frances. Thank you Frances for all your help. The facility is clean , but they are expensive . Our rates went from 135/month to 235 /month. Outrageous.

I am floored that place has good reviews. My husband & I were quoted a rate & then given a number to book it. I tried calling that location 10 times that day to lock in the rate I was told & no one answered the phone all day during normal business hours. I called back the next week and got ahold of someone & the rate had DOUBLED. Very rude & unreasonable. It was clear that they didn't approve of the low rate someone new that was working had given me originally, the guy was "confused"on that rate . Maybe hire people who have the base criteria of knowing how to answer a phone & give correct pricing so you can attain integrity & business for your company? Don't go here. Jessica was very helpful and friendly when i reserved my storage unit. On the day of moving my stuff in, i realized i needed a smaller unit and had very little time to waste. She helped me get a smaller unit immediately and i managed to unload everything on time. She made it very hassle free. I love how it's about 1-2 minute drive from my house too, its clean and easy to access. She also stuck to the prices as advertised on the website so there were no surprises or shadiness. She also enrolled me in autopay so i wont miss a payment- unlike a previous storage where i had no idea i was several days past due. ive been there now for about 3 months and never have a problem going in and getting my stuff any day of the week. super convenient. read more

This place has received a major over haul. So clean and the management has changed. John was fantastic and showed me different options to meet my needs. John was very professional in handling my situation. The facility looked as if it was getting some much needed improvements. I could tell that my stored items would be safe here. The customer service definitely is the biggest asset here. I'm giving only 4 stars because, for me, the location is not the best. Very busy area in the middle of town. Jessica was the one who assisted me and she could not have been nicer and more helpful. If I was just rating her as an employee, she would get 5 stars. Great price when you get a unit. I paid 34 for a 5x5 which is cheap for california but Extraspace keeps raising the price. Now 2 years later the unit is 50 dollars+9 the required insurance and it has gone up 3-4 times from 34 to 39 to 44 and not 50 dollars. I'd reccomend this for short term storage but if you want to use it for several years go somewhere else IMO. read more
