I found the extra space closest to me and the most pleasant employee by the name of Bernadette was so heartwarming I have been going through so much she Took the time to listen to me and she made my experience so easy she was sweet enough to take the time to help. I never knew how stressful it is to have to move. Renting my storage here was so easy I felt safe and the property is very clean. She also recommended a local mover. Veronica, the manager was very helpful and effecient in getting me set-up. I feel safe having my things stored here as well as coming and going to the facilities at any time of the day. They have extended hours, the storage is accessible from 6am to 10pm and the first month is free. Also the prices were competitive. I asked for the web rate, since the site clearly states that the rates for signing up in person and web are different. I clarified that I wanted the web rate and would return home to reserve a space online in order to get the web rate - Veronica was very reasonable and accomodating and set me up with that rate in person. read more

I just moved to LA from Florida and placed about $20,000 worth of stuff in this storage unit at 5825 Santa Monica blvd Extra Space storage in good faith, The security who signed me up ensured my stuff was safe and they have only had water damage. I went back a week later to find my lock bent and scraped with all my things stolen. Identity, laptop, iPad, about 15,000 in designer clothes Louis Vuitton backpack etc... rent your storage at this location . super safe. I've had storages units in other areas and I have to say this particular location is an A+ and that is due to the manager Jocelyn. She is very efficient and keeps the property super clean .there's never been an issue with any of my storages. I rent three units all clean no bugs no rodents, no water damage. This has got to be the most horrible, dirty place I've rented from. This place is rat infested and this Miss Piggy looking employee by the name Lynn did nothing for me. She has a horrible attitude. ESS was a great place to store your belongings and it was until the price went up almost $100 so I did decide to leave but I was informed that they will work with you when the price does go up. Today I moved out so after using them I would definitely give the team at this location 5 stars! They are always kind and communicative with anything I needed.
