Park Circle Storage is very convenient to where we live in Ditmas Park, and also shares the block with a zipcar parking lot, which is equally convenient for picking up and dropping off stuff to our unit. We reserved a space online and came in to sign the lease and get the keys. The service is really helpful and customer oriented, the manager was friendly and personable and very knowledgeable and invested in the facility. Unfortunately the unit we reserved online wasn't actually available when we got there, something about the way the system doesn't consider a space rented until the lease is signed in person... so we were disappointed to have to take a smaller space than we planned. However, we were given a discount for the inconvenience, and again the manager went out of his way to make sure we felt good about renting there. He also indicated that they were in the process of expanding, and put us on a wait list for the bigger unit. The facility itself is probably the best storage facility I've ever seen, and I've used several from different companies over the years. It's bright and modern and clean - very clean! I like that it's well lit, the units are metal with metal and concrete doors and floors, which reduces mice and bugs that sometimes plague other facilities. There was absolutely no trace of rodent droppings or bugs anywhere. There are dollies and movable stairs available to make it easier to get your stuff in and out, and I really liked that there was a loading bay in the back of the building where you can pull your car in and unload directly onto a dolly for easier maneuvering. It was GREAT not to have to double park on the street or circle the block to find street parking. The security there is great, when you get your key you get a code so you can come in and out anytime, and I liked that you can set the code yourself so it's easy to remember. I've been back several times to add things to our unit and each time the manager is personable and greets me familiarly, and the whole place just has the feel of a small, local business that really cares about its reputation and customers. Finally, they have other services as well - bike storage, mailboxes for rent and package receiving. I asked a lot of questions about these services, and was really happy to find out that we don't have to sign a contract for any specific time for any of them, we can add or subtract whatever we want as needed. Which means if we want to utilize their bike storage services just for the month of December when our apartment is crowded with guests in and out for the holidays all month we can, and then not be locked in, and the same with package reception, since we don't have a doorman. All in all, I'm super happy with this place, and happy to recommend it.

But it was when I spoke to my neighbor that all the pieces of the puzzle came together because she told me that they were outside complaining how the office understaffed for this job and I'm not saying they didn't record because they did but I had the wool pulled over my eyes because the office understaff then and then hit me with a $400 overage at the end of the move. The movers left all my boxes in the living room , they didn't put my bedroom set together, so I ended up sleeping on the floor and all this aggravation and having to pay 400 more. Well, I'm gonna say is if you decide to use Verrazano movers make sure you have them come to your home and give you an estimate because they will wholeheartedly pull the wool over your eyes and financially take advantage of you. She even confirmed that I would like her to update my address, I said yes, and then I received a call from the delivery driver this morning checking that my address is my old address (he was outside of my old apartment)! Seriously, wtf? This service is useful and convenient, but the customer service is TERRIBLE. The rep I dealt with seemed unable to answer simple clarification questions without a huge amount of attitude and bizarre miscommunications. When she picked up, I told her that I can't log in to my account because password reset emails never arrive (and aren't in my spam folder, or anywhere else), so can I please just schedule to have my stuff dropped off over the phone? She puts me on hold immediately, and then returns to ask me HOW I WANT MY PASSWORD RESET. I'm like, no, I don't care about that...I want my stuff back, can I schedule that on the phone? She puts me on hold again. Then she comes back and says, "OK, when do you want it?" I ask, "When can I have drop-off? Can you give me some time slots?" She tells me "6-8" tomorrow (Sunday) is available, so I say yes, assuming that means 6-8pm (it didn't). Then she asks me about whether I would like to have the driver wait 20 minutes or schedule bin pick-up for later, and I ask how much it would cost to have the bins picked up later. It's $17, so I pick that option. Then she tells me that I can schedule that online or via phone. I ask if I can't just schedule this later bin pick-up on the phone with her right now, and she gets confused and starts condescendingly "clarifying" about whether I am saying that I want my bins with my stuff in them scheduled later (instead of tomorrow). No, why would I be saying that, when we were just talking about scheduling empty bin pick-up?? And why doesn't it make sense to her that I want to schedule for ya'll to pick up my empty bins while we're on the phone right now, instead of having to repeat this nonsensical process all over again tomorrow or next week? Then she walks through the time slots, and when I stop her to clarify when she says that my stuff will be dropped off between 6-8 AM (because I originally thought she meant 6-8pm), she interrupts me to start repeating the whole spiel, instead of just listening to my simple question for 2 seconds. Security guards in the building who saw the man who did it verified he worked for Steinway movers, they're own men verified he worked for Steinway movers. When questioned by detectives Joe the manager completely stonewalled them claiming he does not nor has he ever has worked for them... THEY ARE LIARS! His men were shown pictures and he 100% was employed there. A phone call between manager and employee was overheard saying not to tell us anything. Instead of doing the right thing and coming forward with they're employee they tried to cover this up and will do the same to you. They value thieves over they're clients, remember that. The man pictured below spent over $3500 in under 3 hours with my cards, he will be caught and because of Steinway's lies and deception they will now be going down with him.
