Terrible services!!! I had my sister send my suitcase from nyc to LA and it got missing , a very expensive suitcase with a lot of very valuable items in it. They didn't refund my money or care to find the suitcase or even providing me my insurance information for the suitcase . They didn't know how to be honest and deal with me as a client and they knew how important my items are. They thought I forgot about it and tried to keep my money. Then they refuse to communicate with me with all along they have been communicating with me and just didn't help me solve the issue. I didn't get my money almost $500 for shipping My insurance information My refund of the insurance DONT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS! Untrustworthy! I asked them to please send me an email with informations and updates as that's how we have been communicating and they REFUSE. DONT TRUST THEM AND WILL NEVER USE THEM ! Convenient shipping center for most major carriers. Always been quick and easy for me. Not sure where the negative reviews are coming from--sometimes they are a little busy with a short wait but no fault of employees. They do charge for USPS and printing services (better to use library if u want to save $), but the markups are usually worth the convenience imo. read more

I had a very bad experience with this store. Shipped art to a show in California. That went fine. Came back later to the store to purchase a return label. They said I could only have the art shipped to the store, not to my home address. Strange, but ok, if that's what is is? They would ship the label to California. It never arrived. A few weeks later, still hoping the label would be delayed but arrive, I left NY because my mom was in the hospital and I stayed a few months to care for her, it was serious. I sent this shop numerous emails and tried to contact them, was brushed off, although I had all proof, did not work, they didn't get back to me, I have the feeling they have scammed me and never sent that label to California? Meh. Don't see what all the hype is. Suspect that some of these reviews are fake. Came in to buy bubble wrap. Guy behind counter was helping someone else, but asked me what I wanted. He went to measure it out, then continued helping the original customer. He said he'll get back to me afterwards. Another lady came in and then he helped her track a package. I Meanwhile, the other guy behind the counter was doing other work on the computer. Maybe he could've helped me, so I could be on my way. I feel like these guys got sidetracked by asking new customers what they needed even though they were in middle of helping someone else. In other words, I had to wait longer to be helped because they interrupted what they were in middle of. So I just walked out. Some people call it Sunday Funday. Others call it the day of rest. When it's not football season, I usually refer to it as the day I oblige one my parents' requests to come see them. When visiting my parents I can have various chores and responsibilities. Such as, explaining the Internet. On a recent Sunday my mother requested I drop off a gigantic box of baby goods at the post office, for my cousin's new born. This would entail breaking in and doing it myself because they are not open on Sunday's. I explained this to her and she told me I could do it another day. I explained I was busy other days. And then she silently sat there in a passive aggressive manner that all mother do when guilting their sons. Thus my mission was clear, find a delivery service on Sunday. Pop open my yelp app and begin my search. My journey leads me to Outside the Box, right near my mother's in Midwood. Open on Sundays! (I'm glad not everyone calls it the day of rest) I expected to be charged an arm and a leg for the Sunday drop off, but in actuality it was cheaper than what I expected had I even gone to the UPS store. They were very friendly and provided me with top notch service. While I was there for just the delivery, they seemed to have tons of services. Notary, office supplies, passport pictures, and copies. In the end everyone won. My mom. My cousin's baby. Outside the Box. My wallet. Not my patience. Never my patience. "Yes mom. True story: I needed something shipped overnight and on a Friday. I went to a local place and the amount they were charging made my wallet cry. So as any smart Yelper would do, I searched for another place. Outside the box came up, I hoped on the Q train, got off at Ave M and a few blocks later I was there. I went in there assuming I would be told the same ridiculous prices but I must say. The 2 guys in the store turned my frown upside down. If I could give this business 10 stars I would! The customer service is superb in every aspect of the word. Andrew and his team carry out their work very professionally and with care. I utilized their mailbox service and when I arrived, my packages were carefully put away and I could tell they were well looked after (no bumps, no tears, no damages etc). When I arrived at the business to collect my packages, I met Andrew who was very warm and polite. Such a gentleman that he called a Car Service for me, rolled the packages outside and assisted in packaging them in the trunk of the car. It's also in a great location. If you need something to eat after, need to go to the salon, catch the bus etc ...it's all within walking distance from this business. I had a few packages that needed to be shipped out. Some were items I sold on eBay, some were things I was returning. I don't have much time to ship things during the weekdays so weekends are the best time for me. USPS is closed on Sunday's, UPS is no where to be found. Luckily for me, Outside The Box Shipping opened up near by. Not only are they open late on weekdays, they're open on Sunday also which helps a lot. On top of that they accept all forms of shippings, USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL. No need for me to go from one place to the other just to drop some packages off. While I was there I learned that they also do Notary Work (always a plus), have packaging material and offer mailbox services - which for the hours they stay open is great. On the day I purchased a 3 month "P.O. Box" I was told that if I don't call in to cancel, I would be charged to continue with the subscription. A week before the last day of my subscription, I decided to cancel my renewal and said so over the phone. On the day before my last day written on the 3 month contract, I went to pick up a package and was greeted with confrontation. A genius that work there told me I closed my account and of course wanted to weasel me out to pay a fee for the shop receiving a package after the account "closed". I had to argue with this rotund employee that I said I canceled my renewal and still had another day on the contract I signed. He went back and forth with me arguing about how I closed my account and that they don't renew anything. Regardless if they renew or not, my contract still had another day to go. We shipped 3 big packages with this store (through Fedex) to Seattle area, and paid a lot of money for insurance in case some items get lost or damaged. We also asked them to cover each package in plastic bag, which they said is not necessary. After delivering our items, one of the boxes were torn (there was a big hole at the bottom of it), and we lost several items, including my Sony camera, Samsung gear VR, hiking shoe and some other items. We then filed a claim for lost/damaged items to Fedex, but they refused reimbursing us for those items saying we need to provide receipts for all of them. Some of those items were gift, and some other ones I bough long time ago 5-6 years ago which I did not keep the receipt for these many years. Some of my friends had similar situations and they got reimbursed for the lost items. I do not know what was the point of paying for insurance if we cannot reimburse for lost items then! read more
