    USPS tracking info. The package did not get sent out for over two weeks.

    I went there to send several USPS packages to avoid going to an official USPS location. I thought it would at least be a more pleasant experience. The line turned out to be as bad as the real USPS, but that may have been a particularly unfortunate day. The price was over 50% higher than the rate given on the USPS website. Most importantly, the package did not get sent out. They did not respond to emails. They eventually answered the phone after many attempts over multiple days. I was told that the USPS tracking numbers that they issue do not work, which does not make any sense. Eventually the tracking information showed up. It took over two weeks for the packages to be picked up by USPS. Summary: terrible pricing and terrible service.

I've had to stop by a…read morecouple times during Covid (they've been opening at 10am, daily, I believe) and every single time each employee I encounter is so quick to help me out and get everyone in and out quickly. Even at 10am today there were at least 5 people already in line as they opened up, and a steady stream of people followed, and the ONE guy working was going above and beyond to help everyone as quickly as he could. I asked Amazon customer service if UPS could be my drop off to complete this return transaction. Past experience here can be summarized as long lines moving very slowly but more importantly, nasty/impatient customer service. My recent visit was no exception. For one thing, the person behind the counter wouldn't affix the label to the box for whatever reason. Okay so I attached it. No big deal however the other employee behind the counter did so for his customers. Another thing which seemed to bother him was the taping of my box. He said it wasn't taped properly which meant I had to buy a roll of tape (for $8) or pay $1.64 for him to add more tape. Obviously I chose the latter. The problem with this UPS is the overall attitude of some of the staff, same familiar faces. I'm actually glad I go to Whole Foods for Amazon drop offs. This UPS, thanks to mainly two employees, is a headache to do any business. One star due to it being convenient on Court Street.

There was only one young lady working the register and when I tell you, she was working, she moved that line quickly. She advised me which box to use to gain the most safety for my parcel, put the box together, and remained professional. She worked the room. I commuted from Bedford Stuyvesant to this retail location and passed about three local competitive parcel places on my way here. Why? I know here I receive intentional customer service. Packages I mailed from here arrived at their destination.....safely, timely, and undamaged. Prices are reasonable. That's all I need. Great location Downtown Brooklyn.

    VERY disappointed in UPS. Sent a perishable item to Florida three days ago and was GUARANTEED…read moredelivery today. Now they are saying that it is delayed one business day and since Monday is a holiday, it will not arrive until Tuesday! That is one week later and it is not refrigerated so, even though it is marked perishable and was packed with ice packs, it may not be good. I called and spoke with Israel who told me to speak with the location directly. Tried calling the location but no one answered. It was close to $80 to send ($208 for overnight!) and now it will not even arrive when told it would and may have been destroyed in the process. What other carriers are nearby? Need to find another way to ship my stuff. Very disappointed. Only reason giving two stars instead of one is because the staff is always friendly :( UPDATE: Upon receiving the reply, I sent an email to the given address. The response was "Thank you for reaching out to your local The UPS Store® location. Your message is important to us and we will reply as soon as possible. If you need immediate assistance, please give us a call or visit our store. We look forward to serving you." Uh huh!!!!!! My prediction - my money is gone as is item.

A couple of weeks ago, I went to the Myrtle location and seeing the long line I decided to cycle over to this location to drop off a UPS package on a Thursday for an overnight. It wasn't scanned until late night (obviously missed the overnight shipment) and it arrived at its destination on Tuesday! Why??? I remember I specifically inform the attendant that its overnight and he said it will arrive tomorrow. Yeah right.. All the frozen home cook food I sent to my mum was bad when it arrived. The next time was when I arrived about 40 mins before their closing time and they were already closed... being pissed off in the heat with a mask on and after checking, again and again, their hours online & at their location... prompted me to search for other options and voila, I learned of the existence of a UPS access point locker close by. It got picked up the same day and arrived the next day. I'm not going to stand by a business just because it's local & small but its a hassle for me. I also feel sorry for other people who rely on this type of business and just get let down without much option. Good luck
