I came in looking for a container for some merch that I needed to return. I asked the woman working there whether a certain shipping bag on display would be the right size or not she just looked at me, kinda angrily shrugged and rolled her eyes, and told me to figure it out myself. Then when I went to pay for shipping my parcel, she quickly took the self service credit card payment interface and turned it towards her and punched in some stuff and I think she gave herself a three or four dollar tip, because the total was way more than the sum of the individual items. Some of the people working her seems decent and hardworking but if you come in at the wrong time you better prepare for some childish levels of disrespect and unprofessional conduct. read more

This mail spot is located in apart of Bedford Stuyvesant that lacks a close post office, I visited here several times before I reviewed and each time I consistently received great customer service. My first visit I had to scan and make copies of a large word document for my nonprofit organization, that was expensive but it was done correctly and the young lady who helped me was OUTSTANDING, she did everything I asked for with a smile. Again worth the price for good customer service. The last two visits here, I had to return items via USPS. I purchased boxes at a reasonable price and shipped items here, much faster than standing in ridiculous winding lines at the local post office and the boxes I purchased for shipping, I dare to say was cheaper than my local post office. To drop off a package here for USPS with a preprinted label was $1.00....yes one dollar, no long lines....no snarky employees....definitely worth it. I always receive great service here (ALWAYS). I have used their services in the past but just to make copies. This particular time I need to have important documents sent UPS over night and somehow they have not reached their destination. The store doesn't except any responsibility. I was told that packages are picked up at 4pm every day. I asked if they have a record of how many packages were picked up with their corresponding tracking numbers and she replied no. So I then asked how do you know mine has been picked up. It could be on the floor or still on top of the counter ( it was a letter) . She had no answer other then to tell me I should call UPS. I have contacted UPS and there was a tracking number printed but they had no other information. As far as they could tell the package was never picked up. I now have a claim on the package and to this date there is still no confirmation of the package's whereabouts. The young woman I spoke with on the phone had no empathy for my situation. Her tone was disrespectful to say the least. I'm not going to use their service again. read more

This is the absolute worst experience I've ever had with a business! Not only are each of the workers incredibly rude and unprofessional, the owner doesn't seem to care anything about the business either. They don't answer the phone to address questions or concerns, help you navigate issues that they create, nor do they follow the rules required as a Commercial Mail Receiving Agency.The one person who seemed to know anything has recently quit and the only other people left in charge, admittedly don't know how to perform simple tasks. I was happy with this place at first but it's been a real struggle for the last 6 months. They changed my mailbox key without letting me know and every time I come in and ask for an updated key im told they don't have it and it can only be made by their boss. This has been their response now for several months, so now, in order to get my mail, I have to wait for them to be available to open it for me. I was also told that it's not just me, but several others have been asking for their key as well. Little things like this matter and it's not at all a priority at this place. Do not mail from here! My package is still showing that it never left the building after five days. That's not the frustrating part of this problem. Information given by the store clerk was never clear. Instead of explaining effectively, I had to deal with her poor attitude which gave me no sense of comfort about my items. Multiple people posted feedback on here about the same issues and seem like customer service is not important here. Employee engagement is critical to customer engagement. Good customer service is different from company to company, but the key characteristics of good customer service include a rapid response time to service requests according to what your service promised. Regardless of the receipt indicating 6-7 business day, this should be told verbally prior to any transaction. As a customer, I have every right to question your service. Yes, I called the police to file a report which I'm entitled to do so. You don't like the route I took and did what you need to do, great! I will take myself to another establishment. read more

This place is more efficient and cheaper than USPS. Believe it or not, they have boxes for all your needs, even the plastic package things where you would get clothes delivered in. More cost effective, too! If I am not mistaken, UPS does pick up from this place 2x a day, an afternoon and evening pick up. So your package is not sitting there the next day to be outbound. Also, tape is provided if you are taping big packages together, which is so helpful because I find USPS never providing any damn supplies when you are paying a fortune to send something to a loved one. Have had a mailbox here for a year and have been nothing but pleased. I Mail & More is the fifth PO Box-type of place I've needed to use for my business and it's by far the best. Their mailbox fee is affordable, the service is incredibly reliable, they're open seven days a week and the staff is super friendly. Plus, if you have a mailbox, you'll get free email and/or text notifications when you get mail or packages. As for the $1 fee to drop off a package, I Mail prints you a receipt, takes ownership of and responsibility for your package and...they're running a business in one of the most expensive cities in the world. You're paying for the convenience of not having to deal with the Post Office (worth any amount of money in my book), or dragging your package to UPS (if you drop off a FedEx package here, there's no charge; the $1 fee is for USPS and UPS packages only). $1 seems more than reasonable. Mail and more is one of the most useful new businesses in Bed-Stuy. If you don't live near the C train (like a lot of us G dwelling Brooklynites), there is NO post office anywhere to be found. On a snowy day the mile walk to the post office is no fun at all. This place saves us a long trip, and man do we appreciate it! The best part about it though is the staff, they are 100% more friendly than the guys over at post office. Had a great experience. The person at the counter was attentive and everything went quickly - and so friendly!

I used this business to ship a package. After my shipment proceeded to show no movement for three days after drop-off, I stopped by to pick it up. I explained the situation to the employee and requested that she retrieve my package from the shelf so I could ship it elsewhere. I even told her no refund was necessary. She refused to return my shipment and claimed that it's IMail and More's choice whether they choose to withhold my property from me. I told her I wasn't leaving without my package and she threatened to call the police on me. I told her that's fine because I would explain the situation to them. She proceeded to shove me several times. Then she called her friends and family to come to the store to threaten me with physical violence. They screamed at me in front of customers and pounded their fists as a threat to me. I spoke with the owner Curtis who continued to intimidate me by telephone. Unfortunately I had to take legal action to protect myself and I want to warn others about how this establishment conducts themselves. read more

I usually go to USPS to mail my packages to France . This time my BF dropped me off at this location . The price was CRAZY EXPENSIVE and I was caught by surprised and paid way above what I usually pay . Anyway called them today to ask how many days it would take to get there, since I could not see it when I tracked the package . The manager K responded 3-4 weeks . This has me tripping since I paid $137.67 for something that should cost $86.95 (flat rate at the past office) . On top of it I was rushed out the store and told they had completed the custom form for me, while I went to the car to get my card as I didn't expect the price to be that high . Now I'm super worried and upset with myself for not asking more questions and trusting them and taking my package back . On the USPS website it says 6-10 business days . I know that in the past I didn't have issues when I used USPS post office but this time I'm scared that I paid almost double and that my package won't reach destination and not sure if I even have insurance . I came in with a regular envelope with 4 sheets of paper in it, mailing it from Brooklyn thanks Manhattan. All I asked for was a receipt with a date on it. Somehow that costs $9.50. When the screen with mailing options came up the clerk simply selected the most expensive one without even asking me. I really only go here when I HAVE to send something out immediately and have very little time to wait in line or go to a further store. The only good things about this place are that it's close to my house and there's rarely a line. They charge to drop off ANY package (UPS, USPS, etc.), they rarely have even basic items in stock (for example they have no flat-fee USPS boxes, but conveniently they will SELL you their boxes), and they are often not actually open at the time their hours say they will be (opening late or closing early). read more

My colleague and I came to the store to get two pieces of mail delivered. We needed packaging to cover the two pieces, so we were trying out the envelopes in the store. One of the employees accompanied us while we were doing this, and let us put our items in the envelopes to see if they were a good fit or not. One of the envelopes we were trying out ripped on the corners because the material was not that strong. It ripped by accident, and not on purpose. To our surprise, the employee at I Mail made us purchase the damaged envelope. Being a business owner myself, and coming for a family of business owners, this was a shock. If a customer damages a product by accident, you damage it out. It is simply the cost of doing business because items in your store get damaged or become unsellable by accident often. The employee in I Mail insisted that we buy the damaged envelope that we can't even use. I was even more shocked that he was so persistent over a $3 envelope. Months ago this place was run by one middle age guy, who hummed while he worked and was incredibly pleasant to do business with. I specifically went here because the USPS makes me want to burn down buildings. I liked this guy. Sure, the prices are a bit inflated, but the stress level went down when mailing a package. Unfortunately, the golden days are over. The past month or so there's a group of young kids running the show. And while I think it's great that they're getting some work experience, they are useless. No idea how to solve a problem, figure out simple math, help you send a package. There's always like 4 kids there--- not a single one knows what the hell they're doing. Back to the days of waiting in line for 45 minutes at the post office I guess. Sorry, kids. They offer a variety of services like UPS, USPS and FedEx as well as mailbox rental, photocopy, fax, oversize shipments and small stationary/gadgets.
