The most useless customer service I've ever experienced in my life. Clerk refused to answer questions or help in anyway. When I asked for a hand choosing boxes or bubble wrapping a large package, I was told to go to UPS instead. Great for all your shipping needs! Sent is convenient and can ship USPS, FedEx, and UPS. I believe they handle DHL as well but don't quote me on that. The shop is small and they get pretty busy so be prepared to wait in line outside. Aside from that, bring cash if your items are less than $10 as they have a $10 card minimum. The store makes life so much easier & never takes a long time. Sent is my go-to mail spot in Bushwick. We've been here several times to drop off packages and send mail. Each time the customer service was great. The owner greets you every time and helps you with any questions/shipping needs. The staff is professional and does right by the customer. I wish post offices were just as friendly! read more

I run a business in the area and do a lot of shipping, so I come here for supplies pretty frequently. Everyone who works here is nice but this is the second day I've waited over half an hour for them to open, except today no one showed up. 10 AM is a very reasonable time to open shop and as much as I love to support other local businesses, I can't continue to spend my dollars here if I know the wait will throw my own schedule. It's a bit of walk to get to and from the shop and the bottom dropped out while I was waiting, so I got soaked by rain on the trudge back home without my needed supplies. No fun. read more

If the sign on the door says "open at 10am," then it should be open when I get there at 10:15am with a large box to ship. This morning, a Thursday, that wasn't the case. So I lugged the box into Manhattan with me to figure it out later. I've gone to this place several times. Mostly to ship UPS packages, a few times for office supplies, and once to cash in some scratch-offs that won some money. Nice enough staff, convenient location, but in my opinion, that's not good enough. Much like some of the other businesses in the building, I'm completely unsure of what to expect when I walk in the door. I would love for this place to get its game tight so that I can rely on their services in the future. For now... All I can do is just hope for the best. read more

I feel lucky to live in trashland with a place like sent and a woman like D. i run an online vintage store and it's never a drag to have to go ship something. she has a positive solution to all problems shipping and in my personal life. ;) i have met the owner several times, he's usually there in the mornings, though prefer the beautiful friendly face that knows and interacts with the neighborhood. sent is a multi functional location - they sell basic dusty office supplies that have sat on the shelves for way too long - so go support and purchase their inventory maybe it will inspire to buy nicer supplies; they can print pages for you; they have a limited amount of PO boxes (all full - still waiting for one to open up); you can buy lotto tickets here; drop off cardboard boxes; etc. etc. thanks sent and thanks D! read more

I went in not wanting to go to USPS. It is empty, so no lines and I received immediate help. The lady helped me pick a box for my laptop, printed out a label. And gave me a receipt with the tracking number. Simple and convenient. Good alternative to the regular post office. read more

This business is incredibly incompetent . I went into send a package to Belgium and the package was returned to sender due to insufficient postage. When I returned to clear up the issue the owner tried to charge me a even higher price rather then resolving the insufficient postage issue that was clearly his responsibility as "shipping company." Terrible service and worse customer service. read more

Considering the USPS location that services this part of Brooklyn is literally Hell on Earth, Sent doesn't have to work too hard to be better. Having said that, this place is a gem.
