Fellow package senders beware. This place will gouge you! Had a small box to send through USPS. The cheapest was priority at $18.53. 2lbs. This didn't make sense seeing as it was quite light. Deciding not to deal with them and went directly to The Post Office. The price $11.27 at 1.1lbs . Not only was this woman rude in here customer service..she rounded up .9 lbs on my package. The owner/manager at this establishment is lovely- very efficient, professional, incredibly helpful and respectful- I've been coming here for over a decade. Unfortunately today one of the staff members was incredibly unprofessional and wildly disrespectful from my first ten seconds of interaction with her, after waiting on a long line with a huge box. She spoke to me like I was a three year old, offered no solutions or alternative options and acted like I was wasting her time by asking questions. In truth I've spent thousands over the years shipping priority internationally from here, and would hate to let this experience affect my loyalty towards this business. I like sticking with small owned operations. However, the experience was so unpleasant that I'd likely think twice before bringing my business back any time soon. SENDER BEWARE. PRICE GOUGING I came into Office 11211 - PackageHub Business Center to ship back a work laptop using a prepaid label. I didn't pack the item and was looking to buy a box to pack. I told the receptionist the situation and they packed the item for me and charge me $30 total for the box and tape. I understand that I have to pay for a box and maybe buy a tape to pack the item. USPS charges the box for like 2 or 3 dollars but they charge me $23 for the box. This is about a 1000% increase in price. The tape used was also charged, which I am fine with except that I was charged $6 for a few pieces of tape. i When they rang me up, I asked why is it $30 dollars? They just said it is for the box and that this is how it is here. This business has a lot of 1 stars reviews on google and yelp that mentioned the same thing. I really like this store. In fact today I rode all the way from Bushwick just to goto this store because I've always had a good experience. Today I needed to print a few pages. The computer stations Are easy to operate and it was quick. When I got to the counter the woman was super friendly. I ordered stamps too and we had a moment of fun together going through the different stamp designs. But I've noticed too other times when I have been there and with other clerks. They are always making funny banter and vibing with customers. That's a good sign. It means employees like their job and often because the management cares. And as customers we all benefit from that. Rude staff who overcharge. Yes, read through those one star reviews carefully because they are all true! The woman (the same one everyone else in this Yelp review thread is referring to) is downright rude. I thought USPS was bad but then I came to this place! I went in last week with two things to ship - one with my own box and tape and they charged me for sticking a label on the box. I was a bit confused by this so let it go but then decided to tape and stick the label on the parcel and the rude lady told me to go outside to sticky tape it - for what reason I have no idea. She has zero people and customer service skills whatsoever and either hates her job, or has a miserable personal life so wants to take it out on someone else. I would rather trek the additional minutes to wait in line at USPS than deal with this type of treatment. Take your business elsewhere as I'd like to see this place replaced with someone who knows how to set up and run a business properly (that includes hiring the right staff) - it's too bad they have a monopoly since they are the only shipping center on Bedford. Holy moly. I walked by this evening and their hiring sign in their window says, literally verbatim: "must be able to take verbal and physical abuse on a daily basis". The asterisk qualifier in small font at the bottom says "I wish we were actually joking about this. If you don't believe us check our Yelp page". I have never encountered a more immature business in my life. The entire staff is appallingly, disturbingly rude each and every time I've been here. They are impatient, derogatory, and frankly downright offensive. They are absolutely playing the victim here - all of the reviews have a common denominator of [legitimate] complaints of employees. Maybe the sign writer should do some self reflection? If the general public consensus is egregious staff demeanor and lack of professionalism on their part, how telling that they interpret this to be customers abusive to *them*. I don't doubt that they occasionally get a psycho karen customer. But for them to go out of their way to print this on a sign seeking new applicants? The guy at the front was extremely rude, and when I asked how much it would be to make a copy, he basically refused to give me an estimate until I handed the key over. I was returning a computer I purchased with a USPS label through this office as USPS is not open at convenient times and after leaving it with them and checking the tracking number (9461203699300002289865) weeks later, I find out that the package has never left their office and was never picked up by USPS. I have gone into the office to speak to the staff about this but have been told that they can't guarantee that USPS has picked it up as they don't require signing like UPS and Fedex do from their office. Now I can't even file a missing package with USPS because my package was never received and the staff is unwilling to look for my package in their office. I really have no fucking clue what to do now and am basically out $1500 because they can't guarantee that the package was picked up by USPS. read more

This is my favorite place to ship. The local post office is a nightmare and coming here makes basic needs like shipping so efficient. The staff is so sweet and know me by name and literally make me feel like were friends. Its definitely a community store and provide that feeling in both shipping and customer service. Very organized and trust worthy packaging. There is a fee added when using their shipping service, so its going to be more expensive than using the local post office, but its worth every penny! read more

RUDE WOMAN There is a woman working here that is consistently rude to customers. I witnessed someone waiting on line, then approaching her when she was free, only to have her snap "I did not call you!". Another time someone approached the computers hoping to print something out and she was in the way working on mailboxes below the computers. Before the man could say or do anything she snapped "Just wait!". Local residents should realize the same services are provided at The Internet Garage on North 5th or the UPS Store on North 7th, without the rudeness. There is an extremely rude lady with long yellow-ish orange hair at the counter here frequently who loves to yell at any customer that inconveniences her with a question of any sort, or does something annoying. My most recent digressions on my last two visits were standing in the wrong line and asking a question. I almost never write reviews, but had to for this one. I was dropping off a pre-paid DHL package and was waiting in line behind 4-5 people. I noticed the DHL delivery person was picking up stuff from behind the counter and making his way past me with one employee in tow. I asked politely if I could give him my package since it was prepaid and the woman quickly answered for him and said "No, you need a sleeve and you can't cut in front of these other 4-5 customers." I quickly explained that it was already prepaid and in my hand and she said very rudely "I told you that it's up to him (pointing at the delivery driver) not me.(Which she did not say the first time)." Props to the poor DHL driver who asked if he could see my shipping label and took it from me once the woman had retreated to behind the counter. First and last time there. I'll walk much further to find another DHL drop off to not deal with that level of customer service. read more

I visited your business yesterday (Oct 27, 2021) around 6:30pm EST and had a very unfortunate interaction with an employee. I was trying to drop off a pre-paid and labelled USPS package. When visiting the counter, the male employee informed me that it would be $1.00 USD to ship the package. I responded "why" and was informed by said employee "that is what they charge us to pick it up" and I replied "well, that's dumb" and employee responded "I know" so I said "well then I'll just take it to the post office" and then I started to walk towards the exit. While I was at the exit, the employee said "You're a F*cking A*shole" This is irreprehensible behavior to treat a customer like this. I was not questioning the validity of your business to charge, rather the fact that (according to the employee) the USPS was charging you for this service which is free to all US citizens and businesses with an address. And my decorum was not accusative or heightened. I would expect more professionalism and frankly normal human interaction from your employees which are identified on your website as "professionally trained experts and members of the Brooklyn community who are dedicated to providing Super-Star Customer care in a convenient, efficient and friendly environment." It's a disgrace to have this type of service in our community in Williamsburg. I will be submitting this complaint to the Better Business Bureau, Yelp and informing your affiliate pater RS associates of the incident. I called up to ask how much it is to print b&w, and was told $0.40 per page. When I go there, I'm charged $1.40. I ask why and they said for "using the computer", which I did not use because I emailed the file from my phone. I've actually rarely had a pleasant experience here in the 5 or so years I have been going. However, today was exceptional! The short girl with slicked back hair, beyond rude. Refused to even listen to me when I tried to explain that my document had not printed fully. I was charged for 1/3 of it and basically not allowed to speak without being cut off "it printed, its there" (she basically could have just said "shut up" and it would have sounded the same). Literally had to go back to the computer to figure out and show her that the computer was not working to try to understand if there was a solution (which she had no intention of helping with and just walked away). I've never encountered this depth of negativity and arrogance anywhere. BEYOND. Disgusting to be honest. Office11211 is a specialty shipping store and yes, their prices might be one or two dollars more than the post office. As for rude service, again, I'm going to bet you've never been to the local on South 4th. I love the rudeness at Office11211, I live for it, it's like drug to me. Make me ship packages!!!
