Customer service here is honestly terrible. I came in just to pick up my package -- something very simple -- and I was spoken to like I did something wrong on purpose. I was told in a rude tone, "Don't send any packages here anymore," without any explanation. The issue is that no one ever informed me about needing a mailbox or any specific rules. How is a customer supposed to know that? Instead of explaining, they chose disrespect. If you don't communicate your policies, you have no right to talk to customers like they're a problem. I don't pay for their services but I drop off here all the time since they're close =). These guys have huge package volume, they have a lot of sway on making couriers do their jobs properly. That's one of the great advantages they have, they support all the major couriers and the couriers won't skip pick-ups. There's a charge of $1 for USPS drop-offs to prevent the store from being a wall of USPS packages. Not much else to say, pretty cool guys from the neighborhood. I know some FedEx ShipCenters offer on-location scans that update the tracking, wish they had that. If you ship at a package consolidator the courier usually has less liability if anything goes wrong. This place is covered in cameras though, it's pretty safe. The reduced liability goes for any shipping joint, I just wanted to point it out. read more

I needed to fax some paperwork to National grid earlier today. So I found them on Yelp and gave a call, $1 a page for domestic. It was quite busy for a small store but usually people there to drop off or pick up. One gentleman was working alone, he faxed first 9 pages and I had 4 double sided pages, the line was busy so I spent about 40minutes there in total I guess and had to change to observe. Another guy came to assist him, both are really helpful and talkative. At the end they charged me $15 for 17 pages. Thanks guys. They have post boxes for rent from a month to year long terms. The store doesn't open at 8am. This is the main reason why I chose this store. I run a small business on the side and was looking for a place to drop off my shipment in the morning before I head into the city. I found this place on Yelp and it was perfect since they opened at 8am. I've gone here twice at 8am and both times they weren't open. I even gave them the benefit of the doubt of running late and stayed until 8:15am but the shop still wasn't open. I would recommend changing the hours to your store if you're unable to consistently open at 8am since that's the only reason why I'm choosing your store. But now I just wasted my time twice - and it takes me 20 minutes each time to get to you. read more

Super-quick and professional, seriously just walked in and was asked if the package I was dropping off was UPS, FedEx or DHL and package was placed in huge pile with others. First time using this place for Amazon return via UPS and wow, the package actually reached Kentucky within 2-3 days, another Amazon return I dropped off via Staples UPS like 3 days before took 5-7 days to reach the same Kentucky warehouse. read more

I have been using Mail Drop for a few years, they are reliable, efficient and nice. I had shipped a few times to Asia and they arrived safely, never have a problem. Very happy with their service. Place is small but no line, no waiting, they are always smiling. Guys are very attentive. You don't even need to tape your own return, they do everything for you, even emailing you your receipt. The best part is it's only $1 and free for pre-paid Also pick up by UPS few times a day, even on Saturday super convenient. I ALWAYS go to this location. I refuse to go to another UPS drop off location. The employees here are VERY friendly! They will always greet you and make funny jokes with you. No complaints here. This place is quick and easy to drop off your packages and mail. The store is quite small but your only here to drop a package off not to shake a leg. The employees are extremely nice and helpful. I was able to drop my package off and exit the store in a matter of minutes. They provide boxes and of course postage. Really Great Shipping Place. I love the Fact that you can ship with any Carrier, UPS, FexEx, DHL even USPS. They will tell you the cheapest / fastest carrier to go with. They will help you with tape and often offer free recycled bubble wrap if needed. They do not over charge like many other places in Brooklyn do. Service is great! Really pleasant helpful folks. Super friendly staff, they're incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. They always package my items to properly secure it and optimize the dimensions to get the cheapest shipping option. Many shipping options here, within the U.S. or international. I've never been steered wrong by their guidance, only had positive experiences here. They have computers, rent mailboxes, make copies, do faxes and printing. The post office is such a dump in comparison. Love and use this place for all my shipping needs. read more

Received my item in pieces, will follow up with the pics. Owner is irresponsible, we asked that they check The package for proper pack job, owner Admits they never even checked the inner Box. Vase has a comparable value of 100,000. I would be very careful with these guys, infact Skip them completely. They will throw you under The bus. This place is one of the best things to have happen to the neighborhood. Do you people understand that you can get anything shipped, anywhere and they even help with packaging it. I started coming here about 6 years ago and never again had to step foot in the post office. The prices are very good I think, the service is great. They always greet you (well at least me) with a smile. Love coming here. It makes my life so much easier because I ship a lot for my job. It's a small location on Avenue U with rental mail boxes and they have a few computer stations for people to use the internet. They can also do your packing and shipping. I usually only use the location to drop off my Fedex or UPS packages. I've also been known to purchase a box or two to pack my goods. Their staff is ALWAYS courteous and friendly. Ive had a mail box here for many years, nothing ever got lost, they forward your mail if requested for free. Their international shipping prices are affordable and reliable. LOVEEEEEEEE Them!! Conveniently located just down the block from my job. I work 9:30-5:30 everyday not exactly the best hours for having to do "post office" stuff. They helped me pal , seal, label and ship my packages for the exact SAME prices as the post office.I am an avid online shopper and I often have things that need to be returned. I came by the maildrop to send off important documents that needed to be delivered urgently . Not only did the wonderful employees such as Wilson great me with a warm smile and kindness , but also assisted me in the deliverance of my package . The mail drop is very well organized , unlike the other grotesque places I have otherwise tried . The prices were much cheaper than the other carriers , which was a great surprise for such fantastic and actually quite outstanding customer service. The most stupefying part was that my package even got delivered a day earlier . Overall , this is where I will be sending and delivering all of my parcels for work and personal use perpetually . This hole-in-the-wall has extremely efficient and thorough service. It's totally cramped and there are boxes everywhere, but you can get in and out with exactly what you need (packaging supplies, printing, shipping, faxing, you name it!) for cheap. This is by far the best shipping store I have been to. My experience was very fast but efficient. only one person was in front of me when I came in. The employee was very friendly and said they would just be a moment. I really appreciated being acknowledged right away (not like the post offices and big chain stores left waiting). I was mailing prior on sheepsheadbay ups store. unfortunetly i was over paying for years. the exact same shipment was 50$ cheaper here at the maildrop.
