Instead of turning the truck around to come back to my house to finish the drop-off, I was told they would come back on their next trip. They never did. After months of back and forth, excuses, and delays, they offered me less than $30 as compensation for the items they lost or stole. So, in short, if you use Moving Zone, you are effectively giving them an option to either deliver your property or to not deliver it and give you 6 cents per pound of property.

Even though one of them reeked of booze, the crew of four managed to drive from Westchester to the Bronx to Long Island without a scratch. Most of them don't speak fluent English unfortunately, but they do speak the language of moving, assembling, and Russian. They handle their jobs with accurate precision and knowledge, just as long as they have a bottle in the truck (I even saw one of them swigging one during their ten minute break). They are a very sociable bunch - everybody kept a good attitude despite the heat and the weight they had to lug up three floors into a narrow apartment. They assembled my bedroom with haste and upon my command. It took them about eight hours to complete a two stop journey involving two peoples' furniture across three counties. We tipped them a good amount of cash (40$ each and a bottle of Jack) and they left happily. They don't get paid much by their company, but they sure as hell know how to do a moving job with speed and efficiency.

The day of my move Victor and his crew Showed up to my home, I walked the house with Victor and showed him everything that they were moving. The only two things that I had not mentioned to Carmine were a single twin mattress and a single full mattress (no furniture with those sets just mattresses) which other than the extra mattress pads it should have added several minutes to the move. I saw a change in Victors personality and I didn't underStand why because I was very nice and explained I was going to buy them lunch. My husband who had been making numerous trips to the new house with loose personally belongings comes in and I hear Victor downstairs instantly telling my husband this wasn't going to be a 4 hour job because I have him taking out garbage. Me hearing this, I'm completely surprised so I approached the situation and told him I never asked you to take out any garbage at which point his disrespectful attitude came in and he was arguing with me. Wish I could say the move got better, but his attitude was horrendous. The whole entire time being passive aggressive pounding up my stairs to which my 13-year-old daughter asked me what his problem was. When we got to the new house, his attitude didn't change either and got into an argument and was disrespectful to a family member and said she should have respect for the movers and get out of his way. She was accidentally in the past, but he could've easily went around her and he didn't have to be a nasty individual. But it was when I spoke to my neighbor that all the pieces of the puzzle came together because she told me that they were outside complaining how the office understaffed for this job and I'm not saying they didn't record because they did but I had the wool pulled over my eyes because the office understaff then and then hit me with a $400 overage at the end of the move. The movers left all my boxes in the living room , they didn't put my bedroom set together, so I ended up sleeping on the floor and all this aggravation and having to pay 400 more. Well, I'm gonna say is if you decide to use Verrazano movers make sure you have them come to your home and give you an estimate because they will wholeheartedly pull the wool over your eyes and financially take advantage of you. They've lost a customer and I will no longer recommend them to anyone.

Well I stayed home waiting for them and they never showed up why would I trust that they would be at my house to move me the day I have to move. Whenever I emailed asking for a quote, Bobby always got back to me very quickly. They're often able to fit an insanely impressive amount of items and furniture into their moving vehicle. They are lightning fast to come in, assess, shrink wrap large items, and get them out the door. Everything from couches to vinyl records and dishes have stayed in one piece. After being pretty badly ripped off by another moving company when I first arrived in New York, it's a relief to know that Bobby and his team are honest, work hard as hell, and charge fair rates. The whole process was smooth, and stress free. I messaged Fidelity on Thumbtack to get an estimate. They provided an unbelievably fair price and an early start time. They were also very responsive when I checked in to make sure we were still on for the move in day. On the move in day they were ON TIME. Yes you read that ON TIME. They called ahead to give us a heads up that they would be arriving soon. The three men arrived ready to work. They wrapped everything very professionally and quickly. I was so worried about my IKEA furniture not being able to survive a move, but it did. Everything was loaded onto the truck within an hour and a half and unloaded within an hour an a half. My furniture was just as perfect in my new home as it was in the previous. Nothing scratched, broken, or torn! Honestly, I will never support anyone moving themselves again and will only refer my friends to Fidelity. Who can deal with all that hustle and bustle? Fidelity was quick, efficient, pleasant men who got the job done without any issues. Their prices were fair and reasonable. They worked SO fast we were expecting it to take way more time but they ended up finishing within the first 2 hours (including a 40min drive to the new place). They move really efficiently and are pros at taking big items through narrow hallways with care. We were really impressed by the strength and experience they had. They said that they have worked in every building in manhattan and you can tell they have a very smooth operation. You can do all communication over email, they respond quickly and also call/text to tell you their arrival time the morning of. It's priced based on time with a base price for 2 hrs for 3 men and a truck and every 30 minutes after is additional. They will wrap any large furniture you have in blankets. Do note that you are responsible for any parking tickets if they can't find any legal parking near by. You also pay for tolls and for any COI you request. During my latest move, they worked with me as I ran into several delays that impacted my move date. I'd highly recommend them. I always pack my own boxes, so I cannot comment on their packing. But when moving, they work carefully and are respectful. I don't plan to move again, but, if I do, I'll use Cool Hand!
