This is my favorite Express location. It's bigger than the one at the Topanga mall, so there's more inventory - more sizes and styles! Their sales rack is better, too, I think. Since it's bigger, there is more staff and everytime I've gone, they have always helped graciously whenever I asked for it. The staff is always efficient, I've never had to wait super long in a line, even when there's a big sale going on. Express has the best jeans for me. My favorite cut is the MIA - mid rise and Jean leggings. I'm Apple shaped and short, so the Jean leggings actually fit my legs perfectly. The other styles are too big around my legs, so it looks like I'm swimming in them. Don't buy the jeans at regular price! They usually have good sales, like buy 1, get one for $20 (original price is $80), or $39 for each pair, etc. This particular location has a better selection of those jeans, more washes and sizes. read more

Express - Love this :) - Women's Clothing Near Me - Northridge, California

I have been a regular shopper at Express for 4 years, and I purchase most of my clothing there. I decided to try their shoes, so I purchased a pair online on 6/1 and received them in the mail on 6/9. I placed them in my closet and decided to wear them for a special occasion. This past weekend, I re-laced them and removed the sticker from the bottom of the shoe, but when I tried them on they were extremely tight, so I was unable to wear them. I attempted to bring them into the store today for exchange, but had a difficult time with the salesperson. Shoes cannot be returned if the sticker is removed form the bottom. Returns must be within 30-days, etc. I asked to speak with a manger, but he was on a conference call. I asked when he would be off, and was told that the conference call had just started, etc. The salesperson called Customer Service and they would not veer from the policy. I said that I would simply leave the shoes and they could give them to someone who could wear them, since they are worthless to me. The salesperson told me that technically, they are mine, so I could not leave them. I explained that I was underwhelmed by the customer service. I was shocked that they could not make an exception to their 30-day return policy, but instead would be okay leaving me upset as a customer, and losing my business. Unfortunately, this is how it ended. I did call Customer Service myself from my car, and they told me that they would not extend the 30-day return policy for me, so thus ends my relationship with this establishment. Careful folks. Consider shopping somewhere that values you as a person, and doesn't simply read their scripts. I canceled my Express credit card as well. I won't be needing it. read more

I don't usually write a review but his store deserves one. We purchased jeans during the labor day when they had a promotion going on. We purchased the 1st pair in store and they helped us order the 2nd pair online since they do not have it in stock. Unfortunately, we found out the the order did not go through after a few days and after we reached out to the customer service. Aya and Dean (I hope I spelled their names right) were very helpful to resolve the issue. I came here months ago to buy a suit and they were actually really helpful. I ended up paying about $230 on what would have been a $470 suit, so it's definitely possible to get good deals if you take advantage of sales, online discounts (and Facebook discounts), and whatever else you can get your hands on to get you a discount. Somehow they convinced me to open an Express Next Credit Card. It was a decent enough purchase that I thought doing so would be acceptable (I hate when they say at some stores that you'll get whatever percentage off your first purchase... and you're like, "But I'm buying socks. They're $8."). I'm actually satisfied with the account, unlike at some other stores. I shop here often and I rack up the discounts like crazy, so whatever I spend on credit card fees, I feel like I'm saving (and thennnnnn some) with the Express Next rewards. So I work here, so naturally this place is amazing and only will remain amazing until I no longer work here. The clothes here are a little pricy, but you can get a lot of good sales. The womens clothing is very in. If you're looking for all different types of jeans, cargo pants, shorts, they have styles that are way cute. Their formal wear is also very nice. Blazers, editors pants, and great vests. The staff here is also very knowledgeable about how stuff fits and what looks good with what. if you see me working, please open up a credit card and tell the managers how much you love me because I hate offering the credit card. read more

Great Place to pickup Men's fashion. Ok ok so its a great place for women too but I can't review that. You want to go for the classy look, this is the place to be. Dress shirts and suits for work, classy clothes to go out clubbing as well. OMG, why is this stuff so expensive. Well thats the reaction I got when I first went to an Express store but there are ways around it. If its your first time and the prices are too high go check out their Clearance section and buy a shirt that fits. Remember buy your size. Most men are mediums and don't know it. Once you do own some Express items you will come to appreciate why people love this stuff. 2nd most people don't pay retail or at least I don't think they do. You wait for these coupons to come in the mail and then you pounce or you wait for these sales to come out such as 40% off or so on and then you pounce. Prices start coming back down to reality. These shirts make you look amazing. I'm telling you its all about the cut. Oh is the quality of the fabric better. Heck I don't know nor do I care. I do know there is a big difference in the way it hangs off you and it makes you look good. When you look great, your confidence goes up with it as well or at least thats what I hear. Try their pants also. Their photographer pants are amazing. Slim and compliments your tucus, yes the ladies notice and its not at all in a metro way. I already think that express is awesome, but my latest experience here made me not only walk out looking great but also feeling awesome because of the service. I am graduating for grad school and I am now going to job fairs and interviews. So, i have to look professional. Not only my closet was lacking the proper attire, I also became a victim of grad school weight gain (yea, don't go to grad school!! the freshman 15 has nothing compared to what grad school will put you through. A sales associate (Eileen) noticed me confused looking at the suits and approached me to help out. I told her what I needed and she gathered a bunch of options for me to try. She was helpful and not at all pushy. I ended up getting a suit and 4 dress shirts. The tops were buy one get one half off, i also got $75 off from a coupon off their website, 20% off for opening their credit card (yea, i know, but as you can see I am in grad school and broke. I will take any discount I can!). Everything came out to less than 2 hundy. Good quality, stylish... can't beat it. Other sales associates working that night were great too. read more

I LOVE Express but this store is downright AWFUL!!! The asst manager Laura should be in an entirely different line of work. Customer service is of ZERO importance and common sense doesn't exist. I've literally shopped here for decades. Recently the store went through a return policy change which I was never aware of. It changed from 90 days to 60 days. When I brought my merchandise for return after 60 days but before 90 days, I was only allowed to exchange. I literally had to pick up random clothing I didn't want so that I would use the credit. Be aware shoppers. Notice the policy change. If you bring your merchandise for exchange only, you're screwed since you must get other items the same day. The store will never give you refund. I've tried contacting customer service but they will never do it. I literally begged for an exception but they never did it. I won't be shopping here again. read more

I love Express clothing! So many cute things but why is everything so expensive? Even when you use a coupon, it's not much of a discount. When you're trying to use a "$10 off a 30 purchase" coupon, there no possible way to make your subtotal exactly $30, so you always have to add lip gloss or something more expensive and spend over $30 to use the coupon. It's annoying, especially when there's nothing else in the store that you want to buy. As far as customer service, the staff is usually available to help you if you need it, unlike some stores. read more

One of the better Express for men. A lot of the time when you go to an express store, the selection for men is extremely limited. This location always has a good amount of stuff for men. It is very well kept and there's always someone asking if you need any assistance. I have dialed back the amount of clothes I buy from express but when I do buy, this is one of the locations I come to find what I am looking for! read more

If you ever have problems and call customer service, they will only stick to the store policy and not give you any exception. At least that was the case for me. I used to go to this location religiously - however, my iPhone was stolen at this location and the staff was less than helpful. I returned to the location today to try to speak with a different manager, again, I was not satisfied. The manager did not seem to care about my concerns I raised as I suspected that the culprit actually worked at the store. I, and my family, have spent a lot of money at Expess, and when I indicated that I would not return, they did not care. I will never return to this location and am questioning if I should return to any Express. So Express was having a sale of 50-70% off and I found some Polo's that I really liked. The problem was that the Verizon "Can you hear me now" guy apparently never visits this mall. So I bought the clothes even though I had a coupon I couldn't use because I had no internet. Later on, I walked all the way to Macy's and was able to pick up a decent signal. After that I found the coupon in my email. It was the one for $20 off $50, $40 off $100, etc. So I took a picture of the coupon so when I went back to the Express dead spot I could use it. I also brought up the Express App on my phone as was able to load my Express card in the app and use that to pay. After all of this song and dance, I went back to the Express store. Once I returned, Rocio who had rung up my initial purchase, returned the purchase and then re-rang up the order so I could use the coupon. Needless to say I ended up with a new belt, one button down shirt and two Polo's for around $60. :-) That's great service and their style is awesome! You should shop here! :-) read more

I had an okay experience. I came right when it opened so I guess the staff was still doing opening procedures, but nonetheless the manager seemed to be able to answer my questions and talk to me about their current sales. However it was an employee that came off unwelcoming and bothered by me. I had asked for another size while we were in the dressing room and she seemed irritated. Then, at the check out when I told her I had changed my mind about the pants and asked very apologetically if she could remove them, I was another annoyance. Look, I get it, she had other mirrors she needed to clean, but maybe she needs another training in customer service. Maybe she was new? Maybe having a bad day? I'm not doing this review to be rude or mean... just trying to bring awareness that it's not okay to act like that when you are in retail. I was being really nice too! Ahhhh express, my crack. I am so addicted to this store in general. They always have super chic clothing, whether you are looking for something casual, dressy, for work, for going out etc. you will always be able to find something super cute here. The store constantly has sales and you can actually walk up to a sales associate and ask them if they have any coupons or just tell them you forgot yours at home and they will gladly offer you a coupon they have at the register so clothing will be significantly less than what you thought you would pay. You can also sign up with them to receive discounts. I particularly like going to this location since for some reason I find that they seem to have more in stock or at least more stock of clothing in my size as opposed to other stores that seems to run out quicker. There is great customer service at this location. If you visit this location and need assistance, find Doll. She's awesome and will ensure you walk out of there looking good. read more

Lol , I dropped by this place a few weeks ago for a blue blazer the rep that was there said she would assist me to find the size I needed 25 mins later I ended up leaving because they were busy assisting customers that came in after me I ended up buying the blazer from topanga Jordan ended up being a professional assessing the situation and delivering with customer service , today on Memorial Day weekend 05/29 I was assisted by a young lady with freckles which seem to be the nicest person I have ever met in the northridge location she told me that she would have the manager Robert help me all Robert was doing was talking and walking around after the rep with the freckles came back and said I told him made it sound like the manager dgaf so I ended up going up to the rep that tried to help and said thank you to her and left about 25 mins later mind you it was a long sleeve shirt that would probably be easy to find poor Robert you need some coffee or adderall in your life perhaps your too old to manage your team !!!!!!!!! read more
