Arizona that price was only for Memorial Day but still a great deal without it
Leslie M.

I loooveee! This is by my place but I didn't see it's kinda hidden. Decided to stop by on a whim and was so happy I did. They have great deals and nice merchandise. The first weekend I went was during memorial day and I went back everyday that weekend lol They get new items every so often so it's worth checking out once every 2 weeks or so. Never had an issue with exportation dates or bad food. My fav buy was the vegetable oil I saw this exact one at Costco for $8 more! Great place to find everything from food to clothing and even furniture!

AMAZING DEALS!!

Amazing deals!! Good value for money!! Much needed at this time of inflation. Thank you so much for these kinds of stores that help out

Double check the prices on items you're checking out, I come here all the time and today I only picked up one item and a cashier who I've never seen before tried to charge me 2 dollars when the item said 1 and when I mentioned that, i got an attitude as she gave me a ' refund '. I was supposed to get 1.10 back and she gave me 1.08. I don't care about the Pennies, it's the principal of not stealing from customers. I don't think I'll come back just cause of her service today.

Very subtle and extremely believable human review XD

Absolutely terrible experience at this store. I should have listened to the other review about rude employees. I took my mom and gf here because they wanted to go. I looked around for a bit didn't find anything I wanted and decided to sit and wait for them since it was extremely hot and they don't have AC. One of the employees comes by and says "hi" I say hi back and smile. They come around again and ask if they can help me with anything. I explain to them that I looked around for a bit and decided to take a seat in front of the fan they had since it was very hot and the store doesn't have AC. The employee then says "well there's no soliciting here, so if you're going to shop then shop" with a sassy attitude. I was extremely upset at this point so I said "you know what how about this, F you" and the employee turned back probably to tell me to leave so I said "don't worry I'm leaving and we won't be coming back". I told my mom & gf what happened and the employee came back and instead of deescalating the situation to potentially save a costumer, they doubled down and said "you should of told me you were with people, you just took it personally, not my problem". In what world does it matter if I'm with people? If I'm at any other store like Target, I have the right to take a break if I'm tired and proceed when I'm ready without being harassed. So yes I will take it personally when I am tired and take a seat to cool off and someone profiles me, accuses me of soliciting, and tells me to either shop or leave. So if you want to shop at a place that has mostly expired food, 100+ dollar open box appliances discounted by 5 dollars, all while being harassed in 100 degree heat this just might be the store for you! Also beware of the fake positive reviews left by either them or paid bots. On Google they uploaded 24 pictures of the store and said "they love the store for their high ceilings and spacious feeling". Who walks into a store, whips out their phone, takes 20+ pictures and says "wow I really love the ceiling in here this place is great! "? I'm sure there's plenty here on yelp too. If you're going to review spam your place at least be smart about it and subtle

A ton of random items. Great prices. Worth a look! You never know what you'll find. They have 2 locations near each other.

Northridge

My favorite mall ever! Is this party because it's a mere 10 minute drive away from my house?…read moreProbably... but that being said I love the Northridge Fashion Center. I enjoy getting a drink occasionally from Agua Cabana on the second floor, and the perfect mall snack is an Açaí bowl from Bearies on the first floor. My favorite stores include - Pop Mart, Box Lunch, Sephora, Bath & Body Works, Miniso, Hot Topic, Hollister, Old Navy, Journey's & Sophi's Cosmetics. It's a smaller mall but it's local & always a solid place for a hang out. There is also many on site restaurants that I enjoy such as Yard House, LongHorn Steakhouse, California Pizza Kitchen & Red Robins. There is also an Escapology located here outside the mall which is great as an interactive experience. The workers I've encountered here are typically very friendly & the mall is kept very clean.

It's a smaller mall compared to others nearby which tends to have more stores. If I'm here it's for either one or two stores or to just walk around to see what there is available. This visit was for something simple that needed to be done. Which I knew that they had a certain store. Surprising it was pretty busy for a Monday. Mind you it was a holiday and kids are off of school. But to see this place pretty lively was amazing. Each visit, tends to alway be pretty mellow. The stores aren't quite the same as they used to be. Loads of the stores that once thrive have faded away. But something new would takes its place. Hopefully they'll last for some time. I did noticed that the food court does seem to have some interesting vendors. Plus there's a new Panini Cafe at the old Red Robbin's location. It's quite big which I was surprised to see walking in today. They have both an indoor patio as well an outdoor patio. The mall isn't what it used to be. The bigger chain stores have gone or either went out of business. Macys is still there which I'm quite surprised. Regardless, people are still going to be buying whether it be a new store or an old one.

For anyone interested in reducing carbon footprint, some of the best options are liquidation…read morecenters. You may not always find what you need, but you just might find something you didn't realize you wanted, at a fraction of the cost of splurging on new. Yes, some items are coming from hotels, such as what you find here in Van Nuys, but those also can be items built a little bit better that mass produced cardboard. Not always, but sometimes. I love Hotel Surplus Outlet as a place to peruse a few times a year, especially if I want an interesting piece of art, or a chair I won't find at....Hmmm, where DOES one go to find a chair these days, Wayfair??? Anywho, HSO is also a good place to pop into if you host gatherings more than a couple of times a year. They have quite a few items from hotel kitchens and room service, think chaffing trays, as well as dishes of varying styles and sizes, all usually in multiples. If you need to furnish an apartment or home on the cheap, maybe starting with dishes and utensils, this is a good option. Also, check them out for used weight room equipment, treadmills and stationary bikes. Some of my friend's best long-use bowls, I recently found out, came from HSO. I didn't even know she enjoyed coming here as well! If you work with electronics, there are many kinds here and I would think at least some could be used for spare parts for repair shops. Patio furniture? Lighting? Bedding? Artwork? Mirrors? Hey! Need a landline phone??? Come check out HSO. When you walk in you will see a few pieces to gradually introduce you and prepare you for what's to come. There's also a front desk if you were wanting to ask about something in particular. If you just want to leisurely walk through and get inspired, you are welcome and not trailed with a salesperson nagging at you. Some days I don't find anything but inspiration for what my house COULD look like if I cleaned it, but most of the time I just like seeing if there's anything I didn't know I needed. Last September I was looking for a MCM style bar cart. HSO had quite a few, but not exactly what I was looking for. Tip: If you do see an item, make sure there isn't more than one. They'll each have a slight flaw, but some aren't as obvious as others, which gives you options to choose what you like best. This is also a good source for used work desks and chairs, if you need something simple for a small space - think hotel room desk areas. Also, they do have some interesting headboards and living room consoles. Hotel Surplus Outlet is an interesting - and HUGE selection. Check them out next time you're in the need - or want - of something for your home or office. Cheers! "CC"

This place is the absolute BEST! Many (many) years ago, I had a friend with a lamp I just could…read morenot get over... I recognize that sounds a bit silly, but every time I was at her house I commented on how much I loved that lamp. For years afterward, I was always on the hunt for a standing lamp that was similar, but the best I could ever find were poorly made and flimsy by comparison. That tragedy aside, she told me she had purchased the lamp at Hotel Surplus, and while they no longer had the "lamp of my life" (as we affectionately referred to it), it was how this gem of a store was put on my radar. Hotel Surplus is unlike any other home furnishing store around... with both new items (at some absurdly low prices), as well as hotel liquidation items from high-end boutique style hotels, you can find a variety of really well made, original pieces to complement your space. That said, if you need to furnish an Airbnb, or stage your home in order to get the perfect pictures to sell it for top dollar, this should be the FIRST place you go. They have particularly amazing deals on large mirrors and wall art- which even if you just purchased for the frame the art piece is housed in, are at killer prices you cannot beat. They have outdoor furnishings, one of a kind pieces, and it's a great place to grab a small fridge for a dorm room. I check their website all the time and stop in as often as I can, since their stock is always rotating- and when the Eaton and Palisades fires devastated our Los Angeles community at the beginning of the year, Hotel Surplus immediately offered emergency furniture accommodations for those affected- which I thought was above and beyond. This place (while huge), has a real mom-and-pop small business feel- everyone is kind and welcoming, they give you information on how to make the most of your visit, are available for all questions you might have, and they never trail you, trying to make a sale (which I have always hated about other large furnishing stores). I cannot say enough great things about this place- I recommend them to everyone I know.

After using this choose, I found out that I had a problem with my heels. They are swollen and the pimples because of those shoes. I try to take them back to the Store a week ago and I spoke with Rocio Hernandez. I explained to her the problem with the pair of shoes I have. She told me you cannot return them because simply I wore them. Well, how I would find out if I have a problem if I don't wear the. I paid over $80 each. Rocio and another sales lady was very rude today. I was told that the pair of shoes I have they are not for exercising, which, this was not what I have been told by Ernesto when I bought them. I simply wanted to exchange them to another pair of shoes to use them to exercise not to walk like this too. She doesn't know how to treat a client and I'm reporting this Store. My . The staff was really helpful when I came to pick up our order shoutout to them for making the process smooth. The only downside was that my phone didn't get any service inside the store, which made it hard to access the online coupons they offer. Because of that, I'd definitely recommend ordering your shoes online ahead of time and selecting in-store pickup. You even get $5 off when you do it that way, so it's a win-win. Also, a small tip: double check the shoes before leaving. Ours had a white mark on them, which we were able to clean off easily, but just something to be aware of. Overall, we'll definitely be back, but online ordering with pickup is the way to go!

Thousand Oaks Location: 620 E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360…read more Very poor business practice. Stay away. I purchased over $ 150.00 worth of spotlights and bulbs, and 4 of the bulbs (one was broken in the box) had the wrong lumens and didn't look good in my home. They were amber-looking when I told the clerk I wanted cool white. I tried to return the 4 bulbs the next day and was initially told that they don't accept returns. Unbelievable. Then I was reluctantly offered a store credit. The clerk's demeanor and arrogance were appalling. I was told that it's the owner's policy. I don't believe him. This policy is not posted anywhere, nor was I told that this was a final sale. We will never buy from this store again. There is nothing proprietary about these light bulbs, and they are readily available at a lesser price online, in Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware, etc. I tried patronizing a local vendor in Thousand Oaks. They did nothing but leave a bad taste in my mouth. I guess that's what I get for trying to support local business. Never again for this store. Stay away.
