I feel they try their best to theme things and put them in order but some items are out of place. A majority of items I looked at were broken or open boxes with missing pieces, but there are good finds here. You just really need to dig and look. Most of their items are target and Walmart items and looked familiar. I wish the clothes was easier to search through. They throw it all in bins that are "labeled" but nothing was in the right bin. If you need appliances such as a microwave, or need power tools, or a dish washer, this may be a great place for you. Just check to make sure it works. I left with some highlighters for my office and some new pacifiers for my baby. They have diapers here as well as bottles and other baby items. The service was just okay here. Nobody greets you and aren't super friendly at check out. They do have a reward program you can sign up for to get additional deals later on.

I enjoy getting a drink occasionally from Agua Cabana on the second floor, and the perfect mall snack is an Açaí bowl from Bearies on the first floor. My favorite stores include - Pop Mart, Box Lunch, Sephora, Bath & Body Works, Miniso, Hot Topic, Hollister, Old Navy, Journey's & Sophi's Cosmetics. It's a smaller mall but it's local & always a solid place for a hang out. There is also many on site restaurants that I enjoy such as Yard House, LongHorn Steakhouse, California Pizza Kitchen & Red Robins. There is also an Escapology located here outside the mall which is great as an interactive experience. The workers I've encountered here are typically very friendly & the mall is kept very clean.

While I fully understand that return policies have fine print, I was shocked by his approach. Tyler was dismissive from the start, interrupted me several times before I could fully explain the defect, and spoke in a condescending tone that made me feel like I was being unreasonable for even asking. He refused to examine the pants closely or consider that a one-wear item might have a manufacturing flaw. I left without a resolution--not because of the policy, but because the interaction was so unprofessional that I no longer felt comfortable even attempting to negotiate. A useful warning for others: If you buy here, inspect your items carefully and keep all tags, because if a defect shows up later, don't count on management at this location to work with you. Tyler sets a very unwelcoming, rigid tone that completely undermines the brand's usual reputation for service. I hope corporate takes note, because customers deserve basic respect even when a return is denied.

I love Hotel Surplus Outlet as a place to peruse a few times a year, especially if I want an interesting piece of art, or a chair I won't find at....Hmmm, where DOES one go to find a chair these days, Wayfair??? Anywho, HSO is also a good place to pop into if you host gatherings more than a couple of times a year. They have quite a few items from hotel kitchens and room service, think chaffing trays, as well as dishes of varying styles and sizes, all usually in multiples. If you need to furnish an apartment or home on the cheap, maybe starting with dishes and utensils, this is a good option. Also, check them out for used weight room equipment, treadmills and stationary bikes. Some of my friend's best long-use bowls, I recently found out, came from HSO. I didn't even know she enjoyed coming here as well! If you work with electronics, there are many kinds here and I would think at least some could be used for spare parts for repair shops. Patio furniture? Lighting? Bedding? Artwork? Mirrors? Hey! Need a landline phone??? Come check out HSO. There is nothing proprietary about these light bulbs, and they are readily available at a lesser price online, in Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware, etc. I tried patronizing a local vendor in Thousand Oaks. They did nothing but leave a bad taste in my mouth. I guess that's what I get for trying to support local business. Never again for this store. Stay away.
