Went looking for a few items for my husband for Father's Day. I was able to get most of what I needed for him there. I like these stores that have a little bit of everything. This location is maintained pretty well. Staff is friendly enough as well. If you see something there that you like, grab it because it probably won't be there when you go back. Looking for some items for the Spring? This Marshall's is well stocked and organized with cute fits or home items. The line gets pretty long. An average of 15 minutes waiting on a Saturday afternoon. The dressing room was a negative experience. Racks are filled with unwanted clothes. You have to hang your clothes on a rack for the associate to count them. Penny, according to her name tag, was rude. No greeting and inspecting my items like I'm trying to hide something within them. Changing room stalls were filled with dust and hair particles. When leaving, penny was still there. She caused a back up demanding everyone (those exiting and entering) put items on the 1 rack so she could count them. Also emphasizing that the cameras are watching us. Seems like penny needs training on customer service or to be kept on stocking duty. Such an unpleasant experience with her that I didnt want to bother trying on some other outfits I found. So, may update what the return process is like. My wife tried to return a jacket that she bought two days earlier from another Marshalls location. She had only tried it on at home and decided it wasn't for her. The manager (his name is Gonzalo) refused the return, saying the jacket looked worn. The bigger issue was the way the situation was handled. The attitude was dismissive and unprofessional when we simply asked for an explanation of the policy. Instead of clear communication or basic courtesy, we were met with rudeness, which was unnecessary and embarrassing for my wife. We then took the exact same jacket to the Panorama City Marshalls just 20 minutes later and they processed the return immediately with no problems at all. That confirmed for us that the issue wasn't the jacket; it was how this location treats customers. Very disappointing experience, and we won't be returning to this store. Another great Marshalls! I found several items here in my size that I love! The sales rack had some great finds. I had about 30 minutes to peruse the racks before a yoga class. I would have preferred 2 hours...just sayin...LOL. It pays to visit a few times a month since they restock often with new finds. Nothing is better than finding that "one special" item! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Check out was quick which as any Marshalls lover knows isn't always the case:) Plenty of free parking in the lot. read more

Headed to this Marshalls on my way back from LA and was looking through the aisles and don't see much difference than the one in Bakersfield except they're more Los Angeles based items mainly sports related items l(check the pics) the location is clean has a good selection and they are pretty on par with the prices you would expect from Marshalls I still like the one on Ming Avenue better as I found many more things there but then again I visit a lot more. Customer service exemplary there's always people easy to find that can help you looking for ,You go check for yourself especially the jewelry section which has a bunch of Invicta watches for men and women as well as a few Gucci items. read more

My wife and I stopped by this Marshalls store yesterday so I can look at some shorts. I wanted to see if this store will have some Nike shorts for some good prices but I didn't find any. It could be because there a Nike store nextdoor that I was already planning on visiting. There a lot of parking in the plaza this store is in. This store is big inside and has a lot of stuff to offer. There are staff throughout the store if you need any help. The store is nicely organized and I didn't see one piece of clothing on the floor. The dressing room is on the right side. My wife was going to buy something but then saw the long line at the checkout so she changed her mind. There no self checkout station here so just be aware that you might have to wait a while. read more

GETTING HERE: I recommend navigating here from the 5, unless you're local and can bypass the freeway. :) It's located on The Old Road in the Stevenson Ranch/Valencia/Saugus area in the huge strip mall. It's a few stores down from Wal-mart and Ross. REVIEW: IMO it's hard to review a retail business such as this, because in my return visit it could be absolutely a 5 star visit. Such variables can include employees attitudes and demeanors, if the store has just received a shipment of items, whether it's a random Tuesday morning or a weekend visit. Just so many variables that can effect a review. But, for this purpose of this review, this visit to Marshall's was a solid 3.5 experience, so I will round up for good measure. Yes, it was packed because Thanksgiving. Yes, there were 8,000 people inside and it was a tight fit inside the store. That's neither here nor there for today's review. The employees were hustling. Absolutely hustling. I made a specific effort to greet the cashier and wish her a happy rest of this weekend. A little kindness goes a long way for everyone involved. As it is Black Friday weekend, their inventory and selection was pretty well stocked. A lot of stocking stuffer tables were spread throughout the store so hopefully you can find some things you need. Personally, I don't plan to shop again until 12/26. :) Values are included in their price tags, and that's always nice to see the savings. I had an unpleasant experience at this Marshall's location due to how a return was handled by the cashier at register #3. (She was wearing a mask and glasses). I attempted to return a bag that had a defect (zipper), which I did not notice until after removing the price tag (I had the receipt). The cashier initially refused the return, stating the bag appeared "used," which was not, and then questioned whether it was even purchased at Marshall's. I explained that I had bought the bag at this exact location and asked if she was not aware of the merchandised the store carried. The interaction went back and forth, and the cashier was dismissive, hostile and unhelpful until I requested to speak with a manager. Only then did she agree to ask for an approval. The manager accepted the return. While I understand company policies, the cashier's attitude was rude and standoffish, and it felt as though my return was only honored after escalating the issue. Like any Marshall's you gotta give yourself a good twentyish minutes to fully shop the store and find all the deals. They have a big selection of shoes but they only had like six pairs in size 5/5.5 to chose from. I really wish they had more of the smaller sizes as everyone is not a 7/8 that shops here. Same with the clothing, there's not that many xs in some of the pieces, so a lot of things don't fit me the way I'd like. I did find some pieces to try on this time, but only left with a pair of jeans. They have a variety of high end and lower end designers here all at a fraction of the cost. The Beauty selection was organized for once, I was able to find what I was looking for on the shelves. Purses are organized by color. Men and kids sections aren't as big as the women's as that seems to be most of the store. Home goods section in the back is decent. Also, they do have quite a bit of cashiers on the weekends, not so many during the week and the line starts forming pretty quickly if it's busy. All cashiers I've dealt with have been nice and helpful, and you can actually find staff on the floor who will help if you need it. read more

Terrible accusatory service. The cashier that processed my return spoke in another language than English in front of me to her colleague and then denied it. The colleague then approached me and stated to me, "they are used", referring to the boot I was returning with a receipt that I had been contemplating keeping. This made me feel incredibly uncomfortable especially with the talking in another language. They did not ask, they stated, making this an accusation. She could have asked and I would have informed them that I tried them on several times in my home but had but actually wore them. I hope that you can understand how their inappropriate behavior made the customer feel. read more

Cashiers refused to return Homegoods item with a Marshall's receipt. I thought you can return a HomeGoods product to any Marshalls, TJ Maxx, or HomeGoods location. These three stores are owned by the same parent company, TJX Companies. As a result, they have a shared return policy that allows customers to return items purchased from one store to any of the other stores within the same brand. read more

Maybe they're just short staffed, but this store seemed pretty disheveled and sizes in wrong places, or hangers marked with one size on clothes of a different size, then hung in a third wrong size area. I kept picking out items missing price tags and some even missing security tags. When I made my way to the registers I was 4th in line at 2pm, with a full store and 1 cashier. Floors are pretty dirty and they don't seem to clean dressing rooms regularly. But the staff is friendly, so there's thaaat.... read more

Super clean, Customer Service is good , variety of selection. It's always nice going to different Marshall's in different cities. Once you walk in your greeted with smiles from employees an hellos . Store is really clean nothing on the floor. It's a big store there's a lot of variety to choose from. It's set up perfect the lounge is separated from the causal clothes so your not in one big area. The home department has a variety of comforters multiple colors and sizes. They do allow certain amount of people in the store , they are following social distance guidelines. Only issue I had was when ask if I want to apply for a card I decline the cashier didn't take the no she kept asking an telling me the cons of the card , I explain my building my credit score back up . She said it doesn't hurt my credit score it will make it better . She needs not to tell people the false info. read more

The good: Marshalls is great for good deals! They have a great assortment of men's and women's shoes that are in style and are trendy. I think their shoes are nicer than the shoes at TJ Maxx and Ross. My husband got some Nautica slides here for under $13. It's a great place to get seasonal decor as well. They have a huge assortment of pumpkin-shaped things right now for the fall. I'm always shocked by the number of things these stores carry for seasonal decor. It's also a great place to get workout clothing and accessories. The lady cleaning the carts was really friendly and cheerful. She greeted us immediately upon us entering. The store is easy to navigate and was well organized. They have a ton of young men's t-shirts that were pretty fun and retro. The bad: The cashier lady was a little passive aggressive but that's honestly better than being aggressive. The interesting: A lot of us know that Ross's slogan is "Dress for Less" but did you know Marshalls' is "Your Surprise Is Waiting and Never Boring, Always Surprising"? read more

This was my first time in here. I went in looking for some accent furniture and they do have some pieces. But they are a bit pricey. It seems most small furniture pieces are expensive (end tables, benches, etc.) There are a lot of clothes and shoes to choose from as well as beauty products. I grabbed a body wash that Amazon sells for $18 and Marshall's had for $6.99. The only thing that bothered me was not the stores fault. Some woman had her 4 yr old son screaming at the top of his lungs and never reprimanded him. It was almost enough to walk out without buying anything. Some people. I was shopping at Marshall's Stevenson ranch. I found some clothes and went to the dressing room to try them on. The women behind the desk, her name was Marie was talking to another employee about all the bratty kids in the store and than looked at me and started ranting about making sure I put everything back on the hangers after trying them on and said that was her job. I had a problem with her when I was last in that store. She's very rude and should not be working in customer service. I've been shopping there for a long time but now I don't want to go back there. It was quite a dry from where we would come in from but we were in the Baul to visit another store. We stopped in Marshall's to check out their assortment in their home items requite nice. Knowing I would have to figure out a way to get them back home, I left them in the store. The clothing choices were not quite must be nor wear the shoes. They had some really nice hair products but again getting at home. The bathrooms were pretty clean and the staff was cordial. This mall has the best view ever. read more

I work in the same Stevenson ranch center. It's been a continuous issue that they can't collect their carts. They'll be scattered across the entire plaza and I've been sent to ask them multiple times as well as my manager has asked multiple times for them to collect their carts. One of them was pushed into my car causing damage and I called the marshals to let them know and it's been a week and the same cart that hit my car is still there. read more

I purchase black charcoal soap from this Marshall's all of the time, most recently two weeks ago. Attached is a picture of bugs I found attached to the soap. This is the marshalls I go to. It has the best stuff ever compare to other locations in LA county. It is cleaner with cuter selections of clothing and better furnitures. I personally have found cute kate spade items, MK, even high end shoes! I can no longer pay for full price knowing I could get so much stuff for a much cheaper price. I personally feel like their winter items are always better summer selections. I don't know why. Very nice jackets and boots. Summer selections are on the cheaply looking side. Christmas time is the best, although the store looks hectic, if you hit it early before everybody else does, you can basically find everything you need for all your family members! read more

Horrible customer service provided by one of the managers named Jackie. I came in with a return from one of their locations in Balboa and she claimed she could not take the items back because the Marshall's in the valley is not the same as the one in Stevenson ranch since they are joined with Home Goods. The cashier was able to scan the receipt and see the items on her end but when she asked for a supervisors clearance Jackie refused. I wanted to know why and I asked for a manager and that's when Jackie came to the front of the store shaking her head in annoyance since she had already told the cashier no. She right away proceeded to tell me that I could not return them there although my receipt which I had and I was showing her said "Marshalls of Balboa" but because at the top of the receipt it showed both stores she refused the return. I contacted corporate and they issued a gift card via email for the inconvenience. I just want people to know that you CAN return your items from the Marshalls in the valley or any other Marshall's here and that management should be better informed. read more

A wonderful Marshall's, as far as Marshall's go. :P I've found lots of great deals here, including fancy creams, lotions, potions for cheap, Estee Lauder travel kits on clearance, and tons of perfume for a few bucks that sell elsewhere for way more bucks. It's big and pretty organized/clean overall, friendly service, lots of convenient parking, etc. My friend and I visit this store at least weekly, and always end up finding lots of cool stuff. Great selection of clothing for women but the mens section can fit in a 7-11. Nonetheless, it's a great place to find some good bargains. I have enjoyed shopping here many times and have never returned anything until last night. I purchased a suitcase a week a week ago and by the time I got to the airport a metal rivet had poked a hole through the fabric. It was obviously a manufacturer defect in the otherwise perfect looking suitcase. I took it back to the store and I was treated horribly by 2 older ladies that made me stand there for over ten minutes while obviously trying to shame me and talking to other cashiers about it. I even said I would take store credit because I will still need a suitcase but I will not be shamed into keeping a defective one. They asked if they were rough with it while putting it on the plane...it happened before it got on the plane and a suitcase is made to withstand more than a car ride. I almost burst into tears because I couldn't believe the way I was being treated, life is already hard without having to deal with such cattiness.
