Porter Ranch, CA I had enough time to spare before my movie starts. I walked around and looked at their deals. The store has a pretty good selection of products. I spent time perusing the clearance section of the women's clothing. It has a very nice deal. Extra 75% off on selected items that are on sale already. I chose 2 dresses and a romper. An employee passed by and check the romper price. It was not on sale so i returned it. While the 2 dresses were. By the time I got to the register, the line had died down which made the checkout process quick and easy. Overall, it was a good shopping experience. Happy shopping!!! read more

This Nordstrom Rack is usually my go to when I head to the valley. They have a lot of variety here and I like how they have more then one section of size 5/5.5 in shoes. It's so hard finding my size in these "outlet" style stores so I'm glad they have options. They also have a variety of women's clothing and accessions as well as some men's, kids and home. Friendly staff and line usually moves quickly. read more

It's literally the dredges of garbage Nordstrom couldn't sell. I believe that most of the items surreptitiously put a Nordstrom label on to fool the consumer. I have NEVER seen such crap sold at a legitimate store. Then you come across how haphazardly the items are placed around the store. Reminds me of a yard sale that you would see in a crappy part of town, and the prices did not reflect ANY bargains for supposed name brands. I never saw a worker cleaning or reorganizing. Besides, the lines always being long with very limited customer service.They also let you bring in your pets. I felt like I had walked into a park with all the dogs walking around and they weren't even service dogs! Had an allergy attack and had to leave the store. Do better Nordstrom's rack and have people leave their pets at home when they're shopping! read more

Love this new shopping center in Porter Ranch. The Nordstrom Rack here is decent. Plenty of parking with EV charging stations which is a huge plus. Came in handy last week while I was doing some shopping. There wasn't a huge selection for XS and I didn't really find anything that made my head turn. I did walk out with a new hip looking pleather motorcycle jacket which made me do a little "happy" dance! Lots of larger sizes here and a great shoe selection! The shoe sale rack was better than the clothes on sale. Just sayin...Most NR' are hit or miss. But that's what makes it fun!!! read more

As always this particular has been a fave of mine since my wife & I took our two aunties there. We found that mark fiend on items that our aunties liked we're 40-60 per cent lower than most stores & still are brand names. The restrooms & fitting rooms are often kept up & consistently clean & picked up. As always the staff members take the time to answer our inquires whether it be size, color savings & or sale prices. We recently took my wife's older brother his wife; they were very happy as well. The staff members are very attentive & helpful. Helllllooooo NR! I had to stop by here to check out their new beautiful location in the new beautiful shopping center in Porter Ranch. I ordered a dress for pickup and did some shopping before I went to the pick up line. The kids shoe section was overflowing with deals. You might have to dig around a little and risk an avalanche but it's well worth it. I found toddler Doc Martens for around $35, cute toddler Dr. Scholl's sandals for $10, toddler Adidas for $30, and black Lucky Brand ankle boots (adult size) for $60. I was tempted to buy more (for myself lol) but I had to stop myself from going over board. They also had good deals on Marc Jacobs bags for I believe around $100. Backpacks, crossbody, totes, etc. They had a small makeup/beauty section that was nice and organized too. The regular cashier line was long but the line to pick up online orders was non existent. The salesperson was nice enough to let me pay for my items while I was picking up my dress order. Nice store, nice employees, can't complain. read more

I came here for the first time the other day and was surprised how small it was compared to The Woodland Hills location! It was organized and clean but there were not a lot of items. I think I was in and out in 20 minutes. I wish it was bigger and had more merchandise but it was organized which was nice. The shoes were on the back wall but limited on what they had and sizes. I will most likely only go to the Woodland Hills location but it's nice to go here if you are waiting for a movie or a restaurant and have time. read more

This Rack feels smaller than other ones I've been to. Because of that, inventory is not as vast. If you see something you want, get it. Because chances are you won't see it the next time you're there (speaking from experience). However, if there's something in particular you're looking for, look for it in neighboring size areas. I can't tell you how many times I have found a gem that was just misfiled away. You will be rewarded for going through the whole store. Trust me. My biggest sticking point, however, is that the checkout line is often long & slow moving. I have not seen employees around the store with the ability to check out via credit cards like I have at other locations. Perhaps that is due to the smaller store size. I'm not sure. But it is a feature I often miss. And the long checkout lines have convinced me not to pick up an item. read more

The Rack in Porter Ranch is a nice store very limited on variety because it is fairly small. The really nice thing about its location is that it's very close by & because I shop on line I'm able to return most everything from the Rack as well as Nordstroms (the mama store) to this location (except designer items Gucci, ISL, LV) all in all it works for me read more

I'd never been to this Rack. I usually go to the one close to my home but I wanted to try a different store, to see if I could find anything new. I'm glad I did. The store was the normal size, but it seemed bigger than the one I'm used to. Maybe because it was new to me? Anyway, staff was helpful, available and the store was clean and organized. Clean, lots of parking, small but has enough things to go through. Racks are pretty tight but it is organized for the most part. Was ridiculously hot and windy, forgot about all this in Porter Ranch even though I lived in this community for 12 years but I had to do a quick stop for a pair of sunglasses. Shop at Nordstrom Rack Porter Ranch all the time. I have shopped there since they opened. I live in the neighborhood, and it makes it easier for me. Always have good experiences. Today, I had a horrible experience when returning two pairs of shoes that my husband had purchased. The manager Carrie was condescending, sarcastic, immature, and extremely rude. So much that at the end of my interaction with her, she kept talking to me as if attempting to get the last word in as I continued to tell her to stop. As a long-time Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack shopper, the customer service has declined in quality, but this by far has been the worst experience. The sales associate who helped me before calling Carrie over was lovely. Unfortunately, I did not get her name. read more

My fiancée and I stopped by here while waiting for our reservation at the restaurant in the same plaza. The place is organized nicely and my fiancée got a tennis shoe she liked. I don't know if mask is required inside but there is someone standing at the entrance I guess to check. Every employee wore a mask and every other customer we saw had their mask on too. The checkout process was very easy since the line wasn't long. We parked near the Whole Food area because parking next to Nordstrom was all filled up. read more

This is more of an issue with management's customer service than it is about the store itself. I like Nordstrom Rack, and I understand it is discounted designer clothing, but that does not mean customer service needs to die. Kari, one of the managers at the store was very unhelpful and inconsiderate during my last visit. I came to fix an error that Nordstrom Rack made. A pair of jeans I bought at the Topanga location was mislabeled and wrongfully priced and as a result I ended up paying $50 more for the pants. I live closer to Porter Ranch and was hoping to get refunded the difference, but I was turned away and told that I needed to go back to the original store to get refunded the difference. The explanation I was given by the cashier that was relayed to him by Kari the manager: "It was not our mistake. It's Topanga's mistake and it's their inventory." I thought this was unfair and inconvenient to put on a paying customer. I was also told "Sometimes they'll check cameras to make sure you dont switch the tags." I was told by another manager that it was up to the manager's discretion to allow this refund, but Kari could not be bothered on a Monday morning. So thanks for wasting my time, Kari! read more

The manager is the most racist and disrespectful person I've ever met, and the worst thing is that today is the second time I experienced such disrespect, the first time I thought oh well maybe she was having a bad day, but today I asked an employee to speak to the manager so she could explain something to me about my account, when the girl spoke to the manager ANISSA, I heard her make fun of me for not understanding my account on my app, it took a long time and then another girl came and told me that the manager couldn't come but that I should open my app and read it so I could understand, it didn't seem like the best answer to me but ok maybe she's busy, and I went to continue looking around the store and ohhh surprise she couldn't come talk to me because she was with another employee laughing at a girl!!! they were gossiping!!! that's why she couldn't come help me with my question!!! Wow, this is the last time I go to that "store." I went to Nordstrom in Glendale and there was a BIG difference. The manager and customer service representatives at the store are unreasonable, unfriendly, slow, and lazy. They refuse to discount clearly damaged items and are rude and condescending to the customers. Annoyingly, when it gets close to closing time, instead of focusing on checking people out, they keep making announcements that you need to wrap up shopping! But how does that help if they don't do their jobs at the register? There's really no reason to ever shop here, unless you want to be treated poorly by unhappy employees who want to make you just as unhappy as they are. read more

This new location is nice, clean, ample parking, is following safety guidelines for the pandemic and is a welcome addition to the area since the closest location was in Woodland Hills. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is I feel the selection could be better. read more

My wife and I were walking through Nordstrom Rack at The Outlets at Orange Rack and, unexpectedly, I found a pair of shoes I wanted and went to the check out lanes. The girl, Sajadi (or some name similar to that), was absolutely the best. She was helping me to apply for a charge card. Her attitude and kindness was so much appreciated . . . and rather rare. She went above and beyond anything we expected. We will return to this particular store and will, hopefully, see this delightful young woman with the great BIG smile. read more

HORRIBLE EXCHANGE/REFUND POLICY! DONT SHOP HERE! Bought a pair of women's Nikes for $110. When I was checking out I asked if I could return if they are too small because obviously in the store the shoes are bonded together and you can't fully try them on. I have bigger feet, so sometimes they seem fine in store but really they are too tight. She told me yes I could return and didn't mention anything about not wearing them. I came back 2 days later asking to exchange for a bigger pair because I wore them 1 hour and realized they were too small and hurting my feet. The cashier told me that they look like I wore them. And I said yes, I did for 1 hour and realized they hurt my feet and I want a bigger size. She said NO. This is ridiculous, how am I supposed to know in the store that they fit when I have to try them on all tied together?! WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN! Not worth paying a little less for Nikes. Save your money and don't buy anything here unless you want to be told you can't return or exchange. Also rude customer service, not polite at all. read more
