I really wanted to have a great experience with Express Flooring, but unfortunately it has been one frustration after another. We had approximately 600 square feet of flooring installed. During the sales process, we were told the installation would probably take two days. Instead, it took four full days to complete. The bigger issue is the quality of the installation. The subfloor is uneven, and several flooring tiles are already sticking up where they were installed. This is not what you expect from a brand-new floor. Since June 16, I've been trying to get someone to come out and inspect the issues. Every time I call the corporate 800 number, the representatives are kind, helpful, and genuinely sympathetic. Unfortunately, once the issue gets transferred to the Dallas office, communication completely falls apart. My appointment on July 10th is a perfect example. No one called to confirm my appointment, so I had to call the day before to make sure I was still on the schedule. I was assured someone would arrive today and that I'd receive a call this morning. That call never came. I called the 800 number again, and they confirmed I was scheduled. They contacted the Dallas office, who then finally called me--not to say they were on their way, but to tell me the installer had an emergency and could maybe come between 2:00 and 3:00, or I could reschedule...again. At this point, I'm still waiting to see if anyone actually shows up. Mistakes happen, and emergencies happen. What should not happen is weeks of poor communication, repeated missed expectations, and having to chase a company just to get the work inspected and corrected. My floor was inspected and I was told it needed to be completely redone based on bad adhesive. It was been 6 days since the inspection and no one has reached out. I called the 800 number and again. The Dallas office reached out and said it is under management review. This is absolutely not how you conduct business. read more

Damaged my floors and refused to fix it. Clearly set a circle saw on our tile and because I didnt notice it and complain quick enough they refuse to fix it. Sorry for only paying attention to floors I paid you to replace. Didnt anticipate you screwing a flooring you didn't even have to replace. Crap service. Overpriced. Very displeased with customer service! Laminate floors installed in a small cottage in November 2024. First of all the rate was astronomical, a 300 ft.² space and I was charged $2700. I guess that was there with two little dogs peed on the floor, and several of the planks are coming up and shedding. I have called them four times to have someone to come out and look at them and replace them and senT them pictures. It's now been. It's now been over two weeks and no one has even returned my call. We chose Express Flooring because of the reputation for professionalism and years of experience. Right now, though, a few things we're seeing aren't quite lining up with those expectations. Here are the main issues we've noticed: Glue Showing at Transitions: We're seeing visible glue where the Express Wood transitions to the carpet in several spots around the house. It really detracts from the finished look. Tact Strip Issues: In the living room, we're already starting to feel the tack strip through the carpet. As you know, that's a real safety hazard for me and my family. Uneven Transitions: Some of them are sticking up significantly from the floor, making them a definite tripping hazard. They just don't look as clean or flush as the others in the house. We also after Only a month one has broken. Hollow Spots: We've also got some hollow-sounding spots in various locations. It feels like the subfloor wasn't prepped properly before the new flooring went down. Communication: There was horrible communication once the project began. Timeframe: We were told the project would be complete in two business days not conflicting with out moving date. This was not the case. The project took two full business days more then promised. UPDATE 12/23/25 (2.5 Months Later): The nightmare continues. It has been two and a half months since the installation, and my floors are still not fixed. Getting anyone to come out has been like pulling teeth. When Express Flooring finally contacted me, they explicitly asked for pictures and details of the defects so the installer could arrive prepared to rectify the mistakes. I provided everything they asked for. Despite this, the installer arrived today (Dec 23rd) completely unprepared to do the work. He told me he couldn't fix it and would have to come back another day. Why ask for photos if you aren't going to use them to prepare? It is two days before Christmas, and my time is still being wasted. UPDATE 12/26/25: The installer was suppose to come in the morning. I waited all day. No communication what so ever. So at 3 I went to run errands. At 3:35pm I got a call from the installer he said he was at my house and ready to work. I told him he would have to come back another day as he did not come at the time he said he would be there. He is suppose to come back today 12/29/25. When I called the company to confirm he was coming they had no record of the reschedule nor could they get ahold on anyone in their Dallas office. Over priced and not worth it. read more

They gave me an inflated initial quote that I declined. Then they miraculously cut it almost by half. Their ad said 75 % off, and they never gave me an itemized bill, although I requested it several times. I was not informed that the baseboards were not painted UNTIL THE JOB WAS COMPLETE! So now they need painting with all my new floors down and heavy furniture in place. Impossible. I would have gladly painted them before they installed if I had known. Absolutely one of the worst customer service experiences we have ever dealt with. Express Flooring was extremely responsive and attentive when it came to making the sale and scheduling the installation. However, the moment serious installation-related issues appeared, the entire company became disorganized, unresponsive, and completely unwilling to take accountability. After our flooring installation, we discovered a strong odor around one of the bathrooms and water coming up between the flooring planks. A licensed plumber later confirmed that the toilets had been improperly reinstalled by the installation crew, causing water to leak underneath the flooring. The plumber also found additional improperly installed and physically damaged toilets that had been removed and reinstalled by the same crew. Despite providing professional documentation, the Dallas installation team repeatedly delayed communication, denied responsibility, and failed to follow through on promised callbacks. Julian (installation coordinator) became nearly impossible to reach, Travis (regional manager) offered no meaningful resolution, and Reggie, the salesperson who made endless promises during the sales process, completely disappeared once problems began. What is even more concerning is the corporate customer service structure headquartered in Arizona. Every time we called, customer service representatives would apologize, claim the matter was being "escalated," and promise callbacks or management involvement -- yet nothing actually happened. Even their own Arizona customer service representatives admitted they were unable to get responses from the Dallas team. Meanwhile, we were left with stagnant water trapped underneath our bathroom flooring for over a week while the company continued delaying inspections and avoiding responsibility. This company appears to operate with one priority: securing the sale. Once issues arise, communication collapses, accountability disappears, and customers are left chasing people who never follow through. The advertised "lifetime warranty" means very little if the company refuses to stand behind documented installation-related damage. We are now reporting this matter to the BBB, the Texas Office of the Attorney General, and other consumer protection agencies. I have called Express Flooring at least three times and held over 20 minutes and used the option they give to receive a callback. I have not had a return call to discuss the behavior of their installers and the damage to the tile they caused. They also used a box cutter to trim some plastic or threads that were sticking out of my new flooring. They damaged the strip that transitions to the dining area. For the money I spent VS the experience of the worker yelling the F&$@ word in my home & refusing to tell me what went wrong along with the damage to my tile IT IS NOT WORTH IT!!! read more

I couldn't be more pleased with my entire experience! Literally from the phone call I made to set up the consultation to install. The man who took my call was so friendly and confident that we would love the work and he wasn't wrong. We had Janeth as our specialist and she is such a gem!! I just loved her!! She helped us pick the floor that best matched what we had already. She wasn't pushy or tried to rush. She was awesome!! We had this consult in December and put down the deposit and then scheduled our install for March to give us a little time to put money away (we're also saving for our wedding). They were happy to lock in the price and keep it the same even for those months. Our install day finally came! Janeth told us that the installers would remove all our furniture and put it back but I didn't feel right having them do that plus the time it would take. So we had everything out of the room before they got there and had the lower half of the closet emptied. They removed the baseboards and carpet. Took it all with them. My closets had been redone on the carpet so I went to Home Depot and grabbed some edging and they installed that. They also installed the baseboards around the doorframe that wasn't done. So many things got done for us!! The guys were phenomenal and worked hard and fast. I was a little nervous since some of the reviews showed gaps between the floors and baseboards. On August 1st 2025 we had sales representative Ben out to our house to discuss hiring Express Flooring to do flooring in almost all of our house. My husband and I both expressed on multiple occasions that we wanted engineered hardwood installed and were told about their product "Express Flooring". We asked multiple times throughout the sales pitch what the difference was between Express flooring and engineered hardwood and were told they were "exactly the same" just express flooring is a third generation and more durable. I had questions about the underlayment they would install and Ben did not have the answer so he called his manager to ask and he explained what they do and why they didn't do dimple mats (the way I originally wanted). I understood and agreed if that's what he recommended. Ben hung up. I later asked if we could get a discount if we removed the carpet, carpet padding and tack strips. Ben didn't know and called Josh back again and he said that it was simple and would just give it to us free of charge. Ben hung up. Ben showed us samples of express flooring continuing to say that express flooring and engineered hardwood is the same exact thing. We decided on a color. After some back and forth we agreed on a price. On August 27th the installation crew came out to get started on installing. On August 28th we saw a box that says Premium Laminate. I reached out to Express Flooring to tell them they installed the wrong flooring and asked when they would be able to fix this error. I was told by Travis "it would take time". On August 28th Josh the sales manager called me and was VERY rude and offered me no solutions. On August 29th Josh called me again and said if I wanted engineered hardwood installed it would be an additional $2500. I told him this was not an acceptable solution as we agreed to $10,536 to have our floors done. We confirmed numerous times that express flooring was the same thing as engineered hardwood and ultimately Laminate was installed in our house. Josh then yelled at me on the phone and said this was the only option. On August 29th I called a different Express Flooring location hoping to be able to get ahold of someone else that would be able to help me find a solution and I have yet to hear back from anyone. Since August 29th I have called at least 6 times and I am always told my case has been escalated and will be contacted in 24-48 hours by Kyle. Today September 10th, I still have not heard from Kyle or anyone that can resolve this issue. When I called the customer support line I was told it will now be 7 days before I hear from anyone. read more

am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the installation quality, customer service, and warranty handling of Express Flooring.We hired them for a flooring installation, which unfortunately resulted in significant property damage. The installation team caused major water leaks from both our dishwasher and our toilet due to improper sealing and handling. Furthermore, the workmanship on the finishing details was highly unprofessional. The crew failed to reinstall our baseboards properly and severely damaged one of them in the process.When I contacted Express Flooring to address these issues, their customer service department and their installation department provided completely contradictory information, with each side refusing to take accountability. The warranty department was defensive and dismissive. They completely ignored my complaints and refused to send out an inspection team to assess the active leaks and property damage they caused.The contrast in their service model is deeply disappointing. When I initially contacted Express Flooring to look into their services, they were eager to get a team out to my home the very next day to secure a sale. However, now that they have my money, they claim they have no staff available to inspect or remedy their own faulty workmanship under their warranty.The representative I dealt with was thoroughly unprofessional. Danny in finance has to be the most unprofessional person I've ever dealt with at any business ever. Don't fall for the price decrease, bc that will come for an absolute lack of professionalism and skill in general. Do NOT let any of these people into your house! I waited as long as I could to provide a decent review. First the good, currently I am happy with the job appearance. It took a day longer than expected because they didn't bring out enough flooring, but this was acceptable. The two guys would show up later than scheduled each day but since we are retired, that also didn't bother us too much. Now, the not so good: When the salesman came out for the estimate, he was very friendly but when we wanted to think about the purchase, we were offered a discount, today only, if we signed now. Normally, this is an absolute 'no' but we relented. I would recommend if this is the case then always decline the offer. Well, he said he would send out the workers and he would show up on the last day to inspect and document the work, bring us the receipts and warranty paperwork and he would also bring us a new sweeper for our new floors. On the last day of installation no one showed up - no documentation and no sweeper (we didn't really care about the sweeper, but it was promised). I will also note for clarity, no one showed up during the work process either. After calling the numbers given to us for the salesman and the program manager, Marlo, and no answer and no option to leave a message, we finally got the salesman to answer and he said he would contact the pm. No callback, but we finally got a call through to Marlo. Marlo said she would get us the receipts and warranty. She did send a link to White River warranty which I could not access unless I went through a Teams account, which I did not have. I sent Marlo a message saying I couldn't access the White River pdf and she eventually responded with "Republic, The Science of Flooring" document, but in the meantime I looked up the White River website to see their warranty which would have been acceptable. I say "would have been" because when I got the Republic document it was more of a "how to install" flooring but it also included a warranty section and it was VERY different from White River. Republic stated: (Note the comments after each quote is what I asked Marlo of Express Flooring with no answer.) - "The guarantee applies only to the original purchaser and proof of purchase is required for all claims." - I don't know if I am the original purchaser or is Express Flooring. See below, my receipt doesn't provide proof. - "The guarantee is for replacement or refund of the Pure SPC material only, not for any labor." - This was not as described when talking with the salesperson. - "This guarantee is pro-rated based on the amount of time the Pure SPC floor has been installed. A percentage would be replaced depending on the length of time since the Pure SPC floor was installed. Defect of goods must be proven by inspection procedures deemed proper by the Manufacturer." - I don't know who would do the inspection procedures. - "Warranty is conditioned upon the Manufacturer;s receipt of notice in writing from the buyer of the alleged defect prior to the expiration of the warranty period and evidence that the products were properly installed and not subject to any of the exclusions described below." - How would I prove it was properly installed? - Exclusions included: -- "Improper installation including, but not limited to, installation by non-licensed individual(s)." - the terms 'but not limited to' scares me. --"Improper maintenance or inadequate care, including but not limited to, mold or mildew growth as a result of excessive moisture accumulation." - How would I prove proper maintenance? Again, none of my questions regarding the warranty were answered. So, I currently feel that I do not have a warranty. I asked if the warranty would be from White River or Republic but I never received an answer. After ten weeks I did finally receive my receipts but no additional information on warranty. As far as my receipts; They stated the payment amount I provided, but little or no information of what I purchased: First receipt document: Order Information Description: Final Order Number: blank P.O. Number: blank Customer ID: blank Invoice Number: number provided Shipping: 0.00 Tax: 0.00 Total: USD amount left after deposit Second receipt document: Order Information Invoice #: blank Description: blank At this point, I gave up getting any information (or the sweeper) I really hope, and that is all I have now, is the flooring lasts. It does look good, but time will tell how big a mistake I made. I cannot recommend Express Flooring, I have warned several of my family who were looking at replacing their floors. The salesman told us differently than what the service was to be provided. We were told that subcontractors were not used, but they were. Our carpet was not stretched. The gentlemen that laid the carpet were very kind, but they were late both days and lacked communication. There is damage to our front brick by the front door where a piece of the equipment chipped off a piece of the brick. The carpet is not secured down on the floor. We were told by the salesman that the padding used is the best that there is and it was the same padding that was already down on the floor. After the salesman made his sale, we never heard from him again even after we tried calling him to get help. Just felt like they were in a hurry to get it done. read more

A representative came to my house to look at my job (replace flooring in living room and master bedroom and closet). He provided me with special deals they had going on if i signed TODAY. I signed, sounded like a good deal - it was a docusign, which everyone knows you cannot read fully, even though there are signatures and initials saying you read and are aware of certain aspects of the contract. I didn't read the recision section - allowing 3 days to cancel - yet i signed that i read it, it was not given to me orally either. I decided 9 days later I no longer wanted them to replace my flooring, called them and their support rep easily took my cancel, when asked about my 300 refund, she said someone would call me to discuss within 48 hours. Guess what, no phone call. I called back 5 more times (because i never got a call back), before the person finally told me the day i cancelled, my account was flagged as no refund will be given. Feels like i've been scammed for 300, while not a fortune, its enough to want back. They did no service for me and the install was more than a week away. I'm very frustrated, i've cancelled before in the past and was never penalized for not doing so within 3 days. When i called to cancel, the girl should have informed me there was a chance I wouldn't receive a refund since after 3 days.
