We are new to the area and needed to replace carpeting on the stairway and rooms upstairs of our newly purchased home with REAL hardwood flooring. After getting quotes from 3 different contractors, each one literally telling us they'd have to replace the entire stairway, including the spindles and handrails, which made absolutely no sense why we'd need new stairs just to replace the flooring?! We then spoke with Johnny at NTX Floors who came out and took measurements and 15 minutes later he not only quoted us less than what the other 3 companies wanted but he also didn't need to replace our entire stairway! The following Tuesday they began the installation and four days later the floors were installed. The end result is even better than we could have imagined!! Our installer Alex is a flooring MASTER! He was so skilled that he was even able to line up the graining of the new pieces to the graining of the existing side pieces we had on the stairway beneath each spindle. NTX seriously saved the day with our floors! We had a recent move and didn't realize how gross the carpet was until we were getting ready to move in. Beyond cleaning with stains and disgusting dog smell. We only had DAYS before we moved in, and Nate with NTX came to the rescue! We recently had our floors completely replaced. We replaced the engineered wood with vinyl and replaced the builder grade carpet with new carpet. We visited the showroom twice and both times we were greeted timely and did not feel rushed when trying to make decisions. We called NTX Floors after we had a completely botched hardwood flooring job from another company. Johnny came over and gave us an estimate. We got several other estimates since we were very skeptical. Johnny was politely persistent as we weighed our options. After many conversations and with special instructions from a flooring inspector, we hired them first to do some tile work in three bathrooms. They did a great job, so we hired them to remove the botched flooring job and install new hardwood floors. We were nervous about them matching our existing flooring so Johnny sent Alejandro (Alex) over with some raw flooring to make samples. After speaking with him about 10 minutes we could tell he was an expert and he matched the stain exactly on his first attempt. We requested that he be the guy to lead the job and they did phenomenal work!!! Our stain matched, our stairs were perfect, no squeaks. They were experts and an absolute class act and made none of the mistakes or cut any of the corners that the previous company did. These guys are awesome. I just finished my work with them today, and I was impressed and pleasantly surprised by all my interactions with the support staff like Joshua and Tori, the workers (shout out to my man Jaimie and his son - and a few others whose names I didn't catch). Everyone was respectful, courteous and cared about the details. At one point, after the living room was half done, I pointed out very small gap in one floor board, hardly noticeable, and asked if it was normal and told them very plainly that it was fine, barely noticeable. I went back into my office, and when I came out an hour later, they had decided that THEY were not happy with the tiny gap and pulled up a half day's worth of work to redo it to fix a tiny issue. I like businesses that pay attention to the details; who care about doing a good job in my house, more than I care. They are willing to put in extra hours without any talk of a change in their (extremely affordable and fair) pricing.
