I needed a professional assessment of my foundation in order to know how to fix it. Highland was highly recommended on yelp so I went with them based on their reviews. I have a graduate degree in Construction Science and Minor in Architecture, so i'm not unfamiliar with foundations, and construction and issues with houses, but by no means an expert engineer nor a foundation expert. But I do have extensive experience with contractors, engineers, and home builders. I was thoroughly impressed with this company and their professionalism from the very start. They are clean cut, professional, and organized. They are responsive to customers needs, and thoughtful and knowledgeable to all questions that I had. They do a thorough job, and would highly recommend them for any service that they provide (especially foundation inspections). They put together a great plan for my house to install piers, and worked with me extensively on issues and questions throughout the process. 5 stars. Matt (the owner) personally visited my house multiple times to review issues as they came up during this process showing a dedication to his company and his customers that you rarely see in this business. Which is why I chose to write a review (which I never do). Thanks guys!

The last time I heard from him he said he was returning my fee, which he actually did. Still no report. I'm disappointed in Matt. I expected better. I don't know what's going on, but I'm assuming this company is in trouble. Sad.

His professionalism and attention to detail really stood out. We also want to recognize TJ, our salesperson, who was knowledgeable, approachable, and supportive throughout the entire process. He took the time to answer all of our questions and made us feel confident in our decisions. Overall, they were extremely accommodating, easy to work with, and genuinely cared about our experience. The project I had done started a couple months back when I was researching pricing on having concrete poured from the back to the front yard, with a pad to store my garbage cans and any other items on the side of the house, as well as stone edging that matched the front of the house to go along the perimeter of the sidewalk. I had an estimated range of pricing I would be happy with for the amount of concrete and the overall scope of work to be done. Several contractors came out to give me quotes but Daniel was the only one who showed up at the time we had scheduled, which is very much appreciated. We talked about the scope of work, materials required and the timeframe for getting everything done. The pricing for the project was within the range I had researched before so I decided to go ahead and sign on with Daniel for the job. The concrete pour was a single day job. Daniel and his crew showed up in the morning to get all the prep work done and were very accommodating to some of the minor changes that I wanted to implement to the final design. Once that was done it was time to pour, which went about as smoothly as it could've gone. Finally we got the materials required to have the stonework done for the edging on the sidewalk. The materials were delivered to the house the day before and Daniel was again on time the next day to get the project done. We again talked about a couple minor changes to the final design (part of which was suggested by one of his crew) and this was another single day job. Daniel was able to come by the house and clean up everything from the project before I started getting issues from my lovely HOA. Again, overall Daniel did an amazing job, I'm particular about the work done on my house and he was very accommodating with any changes or issues I had. His work is top notch and high quality, I would rate higher if I could. Thank you again Daniel

When the signs finally appeared, I did what most people do -- I researched companies with strong reviews, a long track record, and real experience with North Texas soil. After narrowing it down to three reputable companies, I had each come out to evaluate my home and explain what they believed was necessary. Out of all of them, Heath from Texas Foundation Experts stood out immediately. His hands‑on experience, clear reasoning, and ability to explain why certain repairs were needed gave me confidence that he truly understood the problem and how to fix it. From the very first call, the team at TFE made the process easier. Katy, the General Manager, was knowledgeable, empathetic, and patient as I explained my concerns. When Heath arrived, he was both confident and reassuring -- a combination that matters when you're facing a major home repair. His proposal was thorough, his price was competitive, and the company's reviews backed up everything I was seeing firsthand. Looking back, choosing Texas Foundation Experts was one of the best decisions I've made as a homeowner. The work they performed reflected exactly what they promised: professionalism, transparency, and genuine expertise. Foundation issues can be stressful, especially for someone new to Texas, but TFE turned a daunting situation into a smooth, well‑managed experience. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone dealing with foundation concerns.

My husband, whose family is in the masonry business, was skeptical before meeting with him. But boy oh boy did Ryan know what he is talking about. My husband was convinced our side yard which was a pretty steep "hill" could not be flattened out, which is what I wanted. We were building a pool and have 2 boys that needed a place to run and that side yard was all we had left after putting that pool in. Ryan came up with an amazing plan. And we were both so happy with how that yard and wall turned out. Simply stunning! The pool company was terrible and wasn't really willing to work with Ryan and his schedule. But Ryan was very patient with us and them. They kept pushing back the finish date. Which annoyed all of us, but Ryan never made us feel bad about it as it was not our fault. Oh and the pool company literally had no drainage plan except to put pop ups that would flow into the neighbors yard, which we were not ok with. And that was after begging for months to talk to us about the drainage. We asked Ryan if that's something they work with and he had a really great plan to us in just a few days. Needless to say we fired the pool company from the drainage portion of the project and that was the best decision we could have made. There have been zero problems with our drainage. Like nothing at all! It works perfectly everytime. And we never have to worry about that. And all the water gets directed straight to the curb and runs into the street, not our yard or the neighbors yards. The wall in the backyard that goes all the way to the front is gorgeous. When we ran into a potential problem with the last front portion of the wall, Ryan and his guys actually talked to us about it and we all made a decision together on the best move forward. It was such a nice change to have an owner of a company talk to us and work through a potential issue together. Unlike the pool company. (I do wish Ryan was in the pool business. If he was I know we would not be having the problems that we are having that pool company and trying to fix their mistakes.). But Ryan and his company delivered and went above and beyond what was necessary for a job. To summarize, if you need work on something that Ryan and his guys work on, hire them immediately!! They may not be the most affordable, but goodness you will not have any issues and that is worth its weight in gold!! They are worth every penny!! And in case you are wondering about his crew, they are totally awesome!!! Not only are they artists and I would say perfectionists in the best possible way, they were all very personable. They even allowed my boys to "help" which made them feel included and part of the project. I have never been happier with a house project in my life.

MBR Actually STANDS behind theirs. Also, they are incredibly trustworthy when evaluating foundations. I have always recommended independent, 3rd party structural engineers to my buyers so that they would know a foundation company wasn't trying to push unwarranted repairs on them. Now, I recommended they use Will with MBR. He's honest when there's not a problem. True current story... I have a listing and we handed over a foundation warranty to the buyers. Turns out, the warranty was NOT in effect because... refer back to my first paragraph. Now we had a problem to fix. Spoke to the buyers' agent and turns out, MBR was her trusted company too! Will came out was able to offer a warranty on the previous work. Having someone we BOTH trusted was absolutely essential to keeping this deal together. MBR is one of the ONLY foundations companies I actually trust.
