Jonathan thought he was doing me a favor by finding a solution, which is fine if VIP were paying for it, but I needed to be consulted if I had to pay and that didn't happen. Jonathan just couldn't understand the issue. Despite this experience, I was still considering to use VIP until I got pricing from another fabricator and their bid for material was $2,500.00 less than VIP while the labor was pretty much the same and that was with bracing that costs $180.00. I understand making a profit, but that was robbery. I learned that when trying to get pricing for slabs, have the store send their pricing to as many fabricators as possible so you can get an idea of material pricing.

He educated me on the differences between overlay, full overlay, inset and others. I knew from the initial meeting with Andrew I was going to use this company. Andrew was extremely patient, did multiple drawings for me so I could visually envision the cabinets/layout, met me at my house several times and just went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. At the end of the day I fell in love with Andrew's design. Their pricing was very reasonable and the quality of the cabinets they use is simply unmatched in this area. The cabinets are also painted before install so there is no mess and you don't have to hire a painter. Jesse the owner was copied on everything to he could keep an eye on things and make suggestions here and there. He has been in the industry forever and had some great insight. Arlington Marble did a fantastic job on our countertops. The Cambria is amazing. The cuts were…read moreperfect and layed out well with the flow in the quartz. Installation went smoothly. The issue came with tiling the back splash. Our tile measurements were way off. We have 5 extra boxes of tile that was not needed. The guys doing the tile were not experienced and we had a special tile for above the range top that was not cut correctly. Had to order more of the that expensive tile. The saw was not sharp enough. Then the electrical boxes were not tiled around properly and they had to come back and fix because of dry wall exposure. He then just glued the tiles on. They don't lay flat like the rest. No one checked to see if job was done properly. I highly recommend for counter tops but do not have them lay tile.
