Esteban walked away after being paid nearly $70,000, leaving behind poor workmanship, damage, and incomplete work. Instead, it quickly became clear he was in over his head and did not understand the full steps of a complete full home remodel. As the project dragged on, I found myself having to check in constantly and even advise him on how to get the work done, which is absurd for a licensed contractor.
