We also had them do the same thing in our nursery as we are adopting a baby. We had them paint the bedroom and add shiplap to the ceiling. We also picked out new flooring for both bedrooms and our living room. Just a fantastic job!! I will add pictures so that you can see! The project took 4 1/2 weeks from the day they started the kitchen demo. Note in the before photos that we had fur downs & square recessed lights both of which they removed giving us taller upper cabinets & adjustable brightness LED canned lights. We also had them replaced the square lights in our living room & swap the floodlights in our family room's canned lights for the same adjustable LEDs. The general contractor did a really great job of managing the project & has several great subs that he has worked with long term (cabinets, countertops, & tile/backsplash) for work that his own staff doesn't focus on (1/2 of whom are his family). Very high quality work with an attention to detail including bringing any issues to our attention so that they can be addressed (e.g., leaking faucet in the laundry room). Very reasonable pricing & they were agreeable to us adding on extra things like replacing the switches & outlets outside of the kitchen area with the same square modern ones that were put in our "new" kitchen. We are also having them paint the paneling in our family room as a separate project that they will do this week. We will absolutely call them first for any future projects. Three years and at least a dozen contractors, we had essentially lost all hope. My husband and I are not particularly difficult to work with (at least I don't think we are) but it seemed that good, honest, skilled contractors were difficult... no, impossible to find out this way. On a whim, I was having a conversation with a stranger in a local buy and sell group on Facebook. She was having the same experience. Darin's brother came along and commented on the post and urged us to visit the website. I was impressed. Not only with the quality of work but with the professionalism that was apparent by looking at his website and his work. We bit the bullet and contacted him. Darin has been extremely professional, communicative, fair and now, with work complete, is without a doubt, the most skilled contractor we have had the pleasure of working with.
