I was referred by my neighbor to get a quote from Firefighter Roofing. From my first conversation with Chad, I was impressed with his ability to explain and patiently answer all my questions regarding hail damage to our 18 yr old roof. He came out a few days later and did a very thorough inspection and explained the situation and all our options. There was absolutly no pressure and he knew we already had another bid. I am impressed by how this company began and who they are. They are firemen, first responders, and military men who provide a needed service for others with pride in their work. All communication was excellent. They completed our whole roof tear off and added a excellent new roof that actually has lowered our home insurance alot in less than a day! Clean up was excellent. Chad, thank you so much for handeling everything and providing a exceptional experience. Highly recommend! read more

Fantastic experience! First, I wanna give a shout out to Kelton. He was assigned to our initial consultation at our house due to a roof leak. He was knowledgeable and honest enough to let us know that the shingles that we have, & the ice and water issues we were experiencing, are actually due to a ongoing lawsuit with the manufacturer. He could've easily not told us that and charged us to do a whole new roof. He continuously worked with us for the following 6 months helping provide any information pictures, etc. so we can make a claim to get our roof covered. I submitted them as my preferred roofer of choice to fix the issue. Once everything was settled with the manufacturer, we were able to move forward with a new roof with Firefighter. They were professional, on time, skilled laborers, and did a beautiful job redoing everything. We had a couple of hiccups, they remedied everything quickly without hesitation. Overall, we had a fantastic experience! Kelton is the man!! We will be using them going forward & recommending them to friends and family. Thank you! read more

Very knowledgeable and respectful and caring responses. If I didn't already have a "service agreement" type contract with another contractor before reaching out to them, I would use them in a heartbeat. read more

They lied to me about the contract and took advantage of me!!! Don't trust these crooks!!!! Firefighter Roofing was way overpriced and took advantage that I didn't know better! Get multiple estimates from multiple roofing companies, because these guys are a real joke! After they finished my roof was leaking worse than before!!! I asked to speak with the owner Philip and was told I should have read the fine print and that I still owed them for a leaking roof!!!Not to mention they swindled me to an amount above what I agreed to!!! Don't let them hide behind lies!!! DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!! They are SCAMMERS!!! read more

I initially reached out to Firefighter Roofing because of damage a raccoon did. It was a time sensitive fix. The person I spoke with via Yelp was so incredibly nice and personable. They are what made me really hopeful about going with this roofing company. The person that came to do the consult said they weren't trying to sell me anything... but then proceeded to go into specifics as to why I needed a full roof replacement soon. While this may be the case, I had a pretty pressing fix that needed to be done before the weather turned. I did like Kelton, the person that did the consult. They were very kind and thorough. His rough estimate was the highest of all the bids that I received for the job but I felt a little more confident about the work with Firefighter Roofing than anyone else. Kelton told me that I'd hear from them within 48 hours. I received a contract with no additional information in the email over 72 hours later. I had to ask follow-ups with Elaine. Elaine said that we could book the job as soon as the next day once we signed the contract. After signing the contract, I heard nothing. After a couple hours, I reached out and Elaine informed me that I was booked for the next day. Might seem odd but I really did need confirmation that I was scheduled after agreeing to pay $900. The person that arrived the next day at 8AM was quiet and methodical. He finished the work pretty quickly. I'd say it took about two hours. The repair is pretty seamless. I do wish that I'd known when the job was complete. He just left without telling me he was done. At almost 4pm, I received an invoice via email. The payment was to be an ACH withdrawal from my bank account. This payment method was not discussed. My husband called to speak to someone regarding another form of payment. When he discussed using his black card, he was informed that there would be a 3.5% fee for using a credit card. This would have added an additional $30 to the bill. He refused to pay that and they waived it. I believe he spoke with the same person that I initially spoke with via Yelp. He said she was very nice. In addition to an estimate for the job, Kelton had spoken in detail about possibly replacing the roof. We asked for an estimate and never received one. I'd say that my initial thoughts of Firefighter Roofing cooled after so-so customer service on the part of Kelton and Elaine. The work itself, again, was very good. That said, I'd be hesitant to use them again. read more

Excellent experience with Firefighter Roofing. I called them for a second opinion after another company claimed I had significant roof damage. Their team inspected both my home and rental property and found little to no damage, which I really appreciated. Kelton took the time to walk me through everything and answered all my questions honestly and professionally. It's refreshing to work with a company that values integrity over making a sale. I will absolutely use them again in the future when the need arises. read more

Extremely professional! They did an excellent job with repairing a water leak in my roof that was discovered a little over a year after I moved into my house. Anson the project manager did a thorough inspection of my roof and attic and explained the problem very clearly. I got three quotes total and Firefighter Roofing was the one I was most comfortable with using. The two young men that did the work did a fantastic job. I'm seven months into the repair and haven't had any problems . They recently called to follow up with me to make sure I wasn't having any issues. That's what I call great customer service. I highly recommended! read more

Brent and his team did a great job recaulking the 750 louver vents and fixing the leaks in our roof. His communication was great, and his on-site inspection was thorough. Their pricing was fair and the roofing techs took photos to show me before and after, so I felt good about their quality and workmanship. They inspected the attic and found many leaks than I was originally aware of so it's a good thing we got them out here. read more

Rescheduled then did a no-show, wasted my time and not very professional. Would not recommend

I had them come out to my house for potential install on a few roof whirly birds. The roofer seemed like a nice guy. He was very informative and knowledgeable. I was ready to move forward with the project. Unfortunately, I never received a callback or email with the quote. I have since moved on a found another company to take care of it. read more

VERY impressed with Firefighter Roofing. I reached out to several companies, including one run by a neighbor, and Firefighter Roofing was the first one to respond, and did so within the hour. Even despite days of crazy storms in the area, Roy was able to squeeze us in and was at our house in 48 hours to check on a potential leak. He inspected our roof and attic and luckily nothing was wrong so we were not charged for anything. Truly appreciate Roy's sense of urgency, professionalism and kindness. I will definitely be calling Roy and Firefighter Roofing next time we are in need of roofing services, and will be sure to share my recommendation with our friends and neighbors. Thank you so much for the excellent service! read more

We had this roofer out to fix a minor leak, and deselected them based on an excessive quote ($750, vs the $150 route we selected.) The guy who came out was a nice retired policeman, but knew very little about roofing and was poorly equipped to diagnose our issue and provide a fix for the minimum possible expense required. read more

Roy was great. Fast and easy communication, straightforward and took good care of our roof issue. Finally someone reliable who calls back, shows up and does what they say they're going to do. Will use him again! read more

Chad at Firefighter Roofing was great to work with. Our roof is absolutely beautiful and will last for ages. Thanks for doing such a great job. They took about 6 hours from start to finish. They cleaned up everything and spent a long time going over the yard for any wayward nails or tras. From start to finish it's been a great experience! read more

Firefighter Roofing - My new roof! - Roofing Near Me - North Richland Hills, Texas

I selected this company to remove/replace the replace the roof on my house and shed with quality materials and skilled workers. They met my expectations. The crew promptly arrived at 7:00 am, took 30 minutes lunch on-site, and bd had the jobs completely, including cleanup and inspection, done by 6:00 pm. As promised, a supervisor was on-site. I have been in my home for 49 years this May. I can truly testify that Firefighters Roofing Company is the BEST roofing company I've ever worked with over the years. I plan to use them in future years, if needed. Brian was a gem to work with during this time. He's professional, personable and respectful. And, I thank God I found this company. It has rained several times, and I have no leaks. By comparison, past roofers created leaks and were incapable of fixing the leak(s). The roof grade installed was an Architectural Roof. read more

We worked with Chad at Firefighters Roofing. We were thoroughly pleased with the experience. Chad worked with our insurance adjuster to get the necessary repairs approved. They completed the job in a very short amount of time. Everything was done extremely well. Solid competent company read more

Wow, we had a great experience with Firefighter Roofing! Phil was our contact and he was so helpful and he got the estimate to us very quickly. Phil also gave us two options to choose from which was great and when we chose what we wanted, he was able to get us on the schedule quickly even though they're super busy. Phil communicated with us really well and was on time when we had appointments. We chose the patching option bc the holes were in places that can't be seen and we're super happy with how they came out bc Phil sent photos after the job was completed. Also, the price was reasonable which was almost unexpected bc the service was so good. Our experience was great and we can't recommend this company highly enough. read more

Very fast response and came to inspect a home I am buying for no charge within 24 hours of messaging them. Would recommend this business 100%. read more

I requested an inspection of the Ridge Caps on my roof. Roy Metcalf came to our house; went on the roof to check Ridge Caps. Came down, said they looked fine, were not "loose" and in danger of blowing off (as I had been told by another roofing company). He said there were a couple of shingles that the nails were loose; he said he was going to re nail them down & apply some sealant to ensure they were not going to leak; He also re-checked the rest of the roof, said it was looking ok for a 7 year old roof. His TOTAL charge for ALL he did????? Asked for a bottle of cold water! FIREFIGHTER ROOFING will have ALL my roofing business, in the future! Definitely give them a call, if you have roofing concerns!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Excellent service! Jeremy handled our hail damaged roof with precisely care. Everything had done within timely manner. What I appreciated more was care after completion. Unfortunately, We had bad weather again month later, however, Jeremy decide to come and inspect the roof to make sure it is in good condition. Firefighter Roofing was amazing to work with and it all started and ended with Jeremy Edgar. The process as a whole included taking care of patching up a leak until we could both work with our insurance company and do it at the right time in between my heavy travel schedule. Professional and handled everything with the insurance company. Very satisfied with my new roof.

Chad Hopkins was great, he was on time and was quick to find where my roof had a leak and repaired it quick. When it's time for a roof this is the company I'll use. read more

We needed obvious minor storm damage addressed and Jeremy Edgar made lite work of the repair without taking advantage of the open door I left to make repairs wherever else they may be needed that I couldn't see from the ground (his assessment was that we're fine otherwise). I got a new roof from a vendor no longer in business and I needed some minor waterproofing done . They arrived quickly told me what the problem was and how they could fix it . I got the quote the next day and agreed to the proposal . They came out quickly and got the work done in a day . Wonderful company . read more

I am all for anything our responders do. However, they waited too late to address the problem and they are much too expensive.

Roy Metcalf of Firefighter Roofing just left our home after doing some minor repairs and a roof inspection - at no charge. I can't say enough good things about him and this company. They will be our go-to for roofing issues and will be our roof replacement company when it's needed. FIVE STARS! read more

Bryan from Firefighter Roofing helped me twice with roof repair. The first one i had leak. The second one i noticed missing shingles. I really appreciate it. I will recommend him to all my friends, family and coworkers. If anything breaks I'll call him again for sure. read more

They did a great job removing a sattellite dish left by the previous owners. They disposed of it and expertly patched the holes.

If you should ever find yourself in need of roof work, I wouldn't hesitate to contact Firefighter roofing. I did my homework and read the reviews so I had relatively high expectations. Ricky, Stacy, and the rest of the crew at Firefighter roofing delivered. They were prompt, professional, polite and reasonable. That is so not true, but I understand you try and save face with your company. You tried.

Jeremy Edgar took care of us three years ago, and was quick to come back out this week and assess storm damage. He remembered me and the family like he had just seen us yesterday. He had a crew out to do the repairs within 48 hours and they did great quality work. Jeremy was an absolute pleasure to work with and although I hope to not have to call him again in the near future, if we need roofing he'll be the only guy I call. read more

Greatnesses is the word that comes to mind when I think of FireFighters Roofing. From the very first contact with Chad Hopkins, Who gave us the report of the damage to our roof? to the excellent professional crew that did the roofing in one day. As you might see in the picture, it is a multifaceted roof line very hard to manipulate. 5's to the clean up of the total area around the house and even the neighbor. No nails , old shingles, and no wrappings of the new ones. Thanks again Chad and crew for a great job. read more

Phil came out same day to help me get the roof inspected for an upcoming sale of my home. We were on a tight deadline and Firefighter roofing handled the entire transaction from start to finish. This company knows how to treat their customers. I wish my companies treated their customers this way. Worked with one person the whole time and completely owned the entire experience. Start to finish. We will definitely use this company again in the future. They've earned all 5 stars and maybe even then some. Thanks Phil! read more

As pleasurable experience as it could ever be (considering it was a roof replacement). Chad Hopkins walked me thru the process and thoroughly covered each detail. Once the installation was initiated, Scott Stutheit was onsite to oversee the installation at every step of the way. This process was as interactive as I wanted it to be, as everyone involved was willing to answer my questions when I asked them. We couldn't be any happier with the results. We would highly recommend this company to anyone who is interested in getting a high quality, low cost roof done in the Metroplex. read more

After the 3/16 storm - high winds, hail and rain - we had a leak that came into through the kitchen ceiling. The very next day Roy came to see what repairs were needed and instead of just looking, he secured the flashing and caulked some cracks that were possible causes of the leaks. Roy said let's see if what he did solved the problem and if it doesn't I'll be calling them. Since this was a "no charge" fix, I feel I owe them and believe they can be trusted to respond promptly and in a professional manner. read more

I contacted Firefighting Roofing to look into a leak and sealing up holes where animals might be getting in after hearing some sounds. Another roofing company had told me all my flashing needed to be replaced and quoted me a very unfair price. Feeling like I may be working with a dishonest roofing company I called Firefighting Roofing and they picked up right away and were super friendly. Jeremy Edgar came out within the next hour and told me the animal noises were most likely coming from the top of the roof rather than from inside and did a demonstration to prove it. He also explained the leak was not coming from the roof. I really appreciated his honest assessment after dealing with the dishonest ones. I was shocked no work needed to be done on our roof. It's refreshing to find people like this in the roofing business. Highly recommend Jeremy and his team! read more
